The Wine Room: what do users think?

Linda Kennedy: My daughter calls me a wine snob, as I am very choosy about what wine I will drink. She took me here for my birthday in July of 2018 and I was WOWED! I have been back many times since…it is my favourite place to go for wine! Great wine choices and the food and service is fabulous! My favourite food is the White Cheddar Fondue paired with a Malbec Wine! It has a quiet, romantic atmosphere where you can talk, eat, and drink! I Love this place!

Cliff Shepherd: DATE NIGHT!! This is an amazing place to take a date. The charcuterie boards are amazing, and the staff was great.

Kim Jurina: Has a wine cellar look, mood set lighting and a cozy feel with intimate booths with privacy. The menu is over complicated on an i pad.Would be great to order your items on the i pad instead of giving the order to a server. Extensive wine list however, when we asked for another bottle of the same wine they did not have it in the cellar. The Charcuterie board was great, lots of variety! I’d suggest the warm sausages on your board.

Doreen McCaw: The Wine Room is absolutely incredible!! The ambience is amazing! It is reminiscent of an Italian wine cellar! My husband and I can’t say enough about the wine, the food and the service! Let’s start with how unusual it is to experience excellence in all three areas when dining out today! The selection of wine is exceptional! They are unique wines from outstanding regions around the world, the wines are always fresh and served at optimum temperatures. The small plates and charcuterie boards are hands down the best we’ve ever had and the service is always welcoming, friendly and professional!!If you’ve not yet tried the Wine Room in Edmonton it really is a wonderful experience! Such a hidden gem in the city!!

Matthew Steckler: Stopped by for a bottle of wine and some charcuterie the other night. Mona has an amazing establishment and she is incredibly hospitable. A very impressive wine list as well as the charcuterie and cheese selection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.100% recommend if you are ever in Edmonton!

Richard G: "What are you up to for the rest of the evening?" Support The Wine Room! Cheers!

Sara: One of Canada's nicest pubs. Love this place. The only thing, they are Oilers fans lol. I had a great time talking to Mona and her mom

Connor Sim: One of the best places in Canada for a date night. Out of all of the places I’ve lived and visited this place is by FAR my favourite. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. If you haven’t been, I suggest you go asap.

Dave Stryder: board was phenomenal ❤️

Trina Dalton: Romantic atmosphere, a wonderful selection of fine wines. The charcuterie board was amazing, with a large selection of meats and cheese. Absolutely a fantastic dining experience.

Tzin Wine & Tapas: what do users think?

Tina: We opted to celebrate our anniversary here and we had an awesome Saturday night! Special thanks to lovely servers!Vegetarian options: Salads, falafel or patatas bravas

Vanessa Wedick: . But I guess that’s tapas so no fault of the place. The servers are lovely and very knowledgeable about wine pairings! Highly recommend the white wine riesling. Also the salmon is incredible!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Falafel Balls, Harissa Prawn …

Kristine Fabish: .Each dish came out as a different course which was great for our party who were catching up after being apart for so long. All the food was so amazing that I forgot to take pictures. It was all flavourful, tasty, and well seasoned. Each of us had a different favorite dish but also enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Gnocchi with mushroom and cherry sauce, followed closely by the Bacon. The only drawback from the night was that nearby parking was pretty expensive but also not unexpected for the neighborhood.

Ivy L: I love going to Tzin whenever I'm in Edmonton. I hate Edmonton but Tzin is one of the only things that makes Edmonton bearable for me. I might be biased though because tapas are my favourite type of food. The food is definitely pricy for small portions, but that's generally how it goes for tapas. I think considering how delicious the food is, the price tag is fair. The Bacon is phenomenal. My husband doesn't generally like bacon, but at Tzin, he ate most of the dish that we were sharing. I also really enjoyed the sea salt and caramel steak. Wood smoked caramel drizzled on a medium rare steak is something I never pictured together before, but they really make it work!I was introduced to Tzin from the Downtown Dining Week event and I'm so glad I did. The servers are always attentive and it's such an intimate dining experience.

Sheida Noroozi: We opted to spend our anniversary dinner at Tzin and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service! The wine recommendation paired nicely with the dishes we had selected. The bacon is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! A must try!

Bar Bricco: what do users think?

Sydney Rayne: one of the most delicious meals i’ve ever had. came here for a lovely date night and our server was great, very attentive. couldn’t recommend enough. definitely one of the best restaurants we have in edmonton. excited for their reopening!

Talid Jalbout: . They did fix it and we overall enjoyed our mealVegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsWheelchair accessibility: Street level accessDietary restrictions: Kitchen can tailor some of the dishes to your dietary restrictions

Matthew Kierstead: Great little place to have a drink and share some great parts of food with a date. The egg yoke raviolo was fantastic. Also had the fennel salad, carne cruda, and Avalon ricotta. All were really good.Kid-friendliness: Not for children.

Dennis Camphu: Without a doubt probably one of my favourite restaurants in the city for food and drinks. The atmosphere and quality of service is amazing.I usually always recommend and/or bring my friends and family to this establishment or its other sibling restaurant next door right beside it called Uccellino !If you’re looking for a place that has a great vibe/ atmosphere & good selection of drinks and food, look no further!Cute date night or just even just a causal meet up place with some friends. This place is usually always fully booked so book in advance!

swapnil anjaria: Great great Hospitality...More cocktail options would make this place 5 stars for me ..they Have like 6 cocktails on the menu..we tried 4 and all were good...Perfectly balanced using fresh fruits and good choice of spirits...Their food was a show stealer...balanced on flavors although we just had 2 options for vegetarians except salads..Place has great potential..we would definitely recommend this place and return if they add more vegitarian dishes for us to try..Great to see such places in Edmonton..

Ben Kay: Never disappoints... Great drinks, tapas, and atmosphere. Too service. Now featuring extra room in Corso32s old space!

Andrew Cao: Beautiful space. Great ambience. Nice staff. Delicious food and drink

PG: Overall: So so so delicious. I ate so fast I didn’t have time to take photos. We ordered the Truffle Butter Crostino with Culatello, very good but perhaps a bit too much butter for me. Second was the Fonduta Agnolotti which is a MUST try. The pasta was so soft and melts in your mouth when combined with the sage butter and grana padano. Third was the Pappardelle which was our favourite, almost didn’t even want to share this one.For dessert we had the Panna Cotta, perfectly balanced bitter and sweet and the perfect size for 2 people. For drinks we had the Carnevale. I like my aperol spritz pretty strong so I was hoping for a bit more flavour but nothing to complain about. They had a strawberry Bellini on special which, if you have the chance, you have to try. Probably the best drink I have ever had.Atmosphere wise, we were in the small dining area in the back. Seats are nicely separated so it stays quiet. Very romantic lighting and perfect for any kind of celebration.10/10 would recommend! About $150 for 2 people.

Trader Moes: Yes. The space is gorgeous. The music goes well w the atmosphere. The food is heavy and salty so it's a special occasion for sure. Attentive service. Not friendly tho. But what is up w all the chipped plates? That definitely took joy out of our experience. Here are your imported cheese and meats on a chipped plate. Raviolo on a chipped plate. If foods are detailed why not the plates? I guess if u are a busy restaurant u care less and less

Daniella Nielsen: I will come back here again and again and again and I’m bringing friends. My first visit to Bar Bricco was for my mum’s 60th birthday and it was such a wonderful experience for us. The food is Incredible, the wine is excellent, the service is terrific. It is quite dark, which isn’t the best but it gives the place a certain ambiance. The raviolo al uovo is the absolute most delicious thing on the menu. The agnolotti is so perfectly cooked. Caparzo wine is hard to find in Alberta. Skip the truffle butter crostini.

Cavern: what do users think?

Cameron Ford: Had a wonderful lunch date with my girlfriend here! Inside is a nice, cozy eating area, and there is a patio out front as well. The staff were friendly and the service was just great. We had the cheeseboard, with 4 cheeses, and I had a mocha. The mocha was really great, and the cheeseboard was surprising filling, and very tasty. I would recommend the Manchego and Beemster XO cheeses!Vegetarian options: Cheese! Sandwiches! Only a few options, but there is a huge selection of cheeses.Parking: There is a mostly empty, small parking lot to the side of the building! We came while the street was closed for an event, so you may find there might not be available parking.

MA FD: Recommended dishes Cured Meat, Baguette, Olive Oil and Vinegar …

Dan East: Amazing! Great spot. Hidden gem in Edmonton. Don't miss this spot on your list of places to enjoy a glass of wine and world-class cheese

Alison Dowsett: Brilliant spot for a glass of wine and nibbles after wandering around downtown. They have a wine preservation system to keep the open bottles fresh, which spares any disappointment at being served a glass of stale wine. No, this place is serious in what they do. The salami was melt.in.mouth. Cheese choices were happily left up to the monger and we ended up doing a tour of Québec. I have had some negative experiences with truffle oil and so was hesitant to try the truffle popcorn but it was prepared with other seasonings and a restrained amount of truffle oil. Really good! Even walked out with a box of crackers and some chocolates. Superb!

Joshua C: .Always a great selection of product. Entered the deep world of cheese through these people. They are so helpful and knowledgeable. Great options for small plates too to compliment everything. They're also really great at pairing jams and wines with everything!Truffle popcorn, little toasts, and the conservas are all a must-try!This place is a staple to 104th street!

Patrick Neuberger: Great helpful service. Quaint location.

Bryan Birn: This was a cute little, intimate Wine bar and Cheese shop. Perfect for a quiet date or a sip of wine to end your day.

Victoria Pritchard: Cecilia was lovely, the cheese and wine selection is divine and we love the small space vibe.

Natasha Wismark: I love Cavern! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is perfect. The light menu is perfect and I am always delighted by their cheese choices. I love picking up a baguette from here on the weekends. Highly highly recommend!

Chris Keiver: Went for our anniversary and knew very little to nothing about cheese and pairings. They made us a fabulous selection of cheeses we would not necessarily have tried and the entire experience was a true delight! Great staff, great selection, great atmosphere. Best date ever!

Mario Massignani: Very good, excellent variety of cheeses and wines

Shayla Brinston: Such a splendid evening of simplicity! Super tasty bites, down to earth service, intimate atmosphere and a great wine selection! Highly recommend diving down into the Cavern.

Bodega Highlands: what do users think?

Lydia Fernandez: Staff here are always so friendly and welcoming. The smaller dining space makes it feel so cozy and reminds us of a couple of tapas bars we frequnted in Madrid. In the warmer months, check out the patio setup in the back of the restaurant. Each tapas plate we ordered was on point and absolutely delicious. No picture proof as we devoured our food.

Jbob: atmosphere. Was a fun evening of sharing dishes.Street parking, with a nearby paid lot.

Danielle Charette: We went as a group, we ordered many dishes on a shared style table, it was perfect and extremely tasty. In my opinion, the braised porc cheek is a must try !We will return with friends and family.

Partake: what do users think?

sim s: Partake, located on High Street in Oliver looked like a great date spot. Great ambience inside. This place is very small inside and has 3 bistro tables that can seat 2 each and two booths that can seat about 6 each. I went there mainly because of the location and also to try out their drinks and food. The drinks were delicious but I was disappointed in the food. The portion sizes were tiny. The deviled egg was delicious but the French onion soup was so salty it was barely edible. Maybe it was an off day, I would go back and try other items on the menu maybe.

Tammy W: The seafood bouillabaisse was ok. Reminded me a bit of a Chinese stir fry with seafood. I enjoyed the cabbage with the sausage and the micro greens are always a nice touch! My favourite part was perhaps the garlicky butter with the escargots. Be careful while slicing the bread because it’s quite “chewy”. Caution splashing that blazing hot & delicious butter. The French onion soup is good but a tad salty for me. But I’d still get it again. The cured salmon was ok - I personally wasn’t a fan as I usually prefer smoked salmon.Would come back for the vibes but maybe for a drink + snack as opposed to a full meal.

Patricia Robichaud: Whoever designed the cocktails at Partake is an unsung hero. The list is small but mighty - all you have to do is list a few flavors you like and the servers do a great job of recommending an expertly crafted cocktail you're sure to enjoy. The food is also delicious! I would recommend coming here for cocktails and a few appies - don't pass up the deviled eggs!

Ryan Mior: Went here tonight for the first time and it won’t be the last.1. Cocktails were amazing. A ton of depth in flavour and impeccably balanced. Crazy thing is that at 14/15$ a cocktail it’s cheaper than my local dive bar cocktails.2. Meat and cheese board was bonkers. Some of the best combos I’ve ever had and you could taste the freshness.3. We had a bunch of mains. Too many to list but they were all unreal. Fish, duck, soup , and breads. All absolutely delicious.4. Dessert was also unreal. Smooth as silk crème broke and Bavarian cream with subtle flavours of passion fruit.5. Service was the kicker. All servers jumped in as needed and Cyrile was there showing us his craft. He’s a legend.Come here. Take your time. And, enjoy.Bon appetite

Elizabeth: This is a tiny restaurant that absolutely knows all about fantastic food. Being small keeps a very lovely atmosphere and makes you feel like you have other friends for dinner but it’s so private and well appointed. The food here is not to be missed. This should be on a tourists, “where to eat in Edmontons top five.”My husband and I found it by chance. Don’t miss out. We don’t intend to ever again.Five stars guys. Thank you.

KarS: Came here for a private event and was pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and service! The decor and furniture is stunning. The food is absolutely phenomenal and the staff are friendly and personable. Only complaint is that I was given the wrong drink, but they did not replace my drink for the correct one, nor did the comp the incorrect one.But overall, I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Natasha Riddell: I got the opportunity to celebrate my birthday at Partake and I cannot more highly recommend this restaurant. The food was divine and the drink menu was stellar - which is not often something I explore when I'm out dining! It's very special when a place's drinks are on par with how amazing their food is. Can't wait to return!

Emalia Velasco: all helped make our experience incredible. Partake somehow meets the perfect balance of being upscale and high-end without being stuffy.Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly

Hayley Hahn: We recently enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The cocktails were delicious, and most of the food was so tasty. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices were reasonable. We can't wait to go back!

sierra cannon: I regret how long it took my husband and I go finally check this place out after hearing great reviews for years. We were greeted right away and chose seats at the bar, Reid was working behind the bar this night and was the ultimate guide for our tastebuds both for drinks options but food aswell.I think we ended up trying three quarters of the menu and collectively agreed everything was 5/5Special highlights to the French onion soup, Brussel sprouts, and the beef tar tar. We can’t wait to go back and have the French dip, escargot and duck tacos.I could see myself popping in here once a week for the French onion soup alone.Round of applause Reid, Chefs and Partake you’ve made able incredible lasting impression and we cannot wait to return.
