Justin Schurer: proceeded to ensure that I had made the purchase, confirm ALL my information, as well as take the time to ask me questions about what boat I would be using the board on and what size and style of rider would be using the board along with several other intellectual questions. This really struck me as amazing, not only did he successfully insure everything about the sale, but also avoided a potential problem before it arose. I had purchased a surfboard from another supplier closer to my home province last year and had a horrible experience with the shipping and customer service I received, not to mention it took 3 times as long to get my product that had zero discount whatsoever initially or after my issue. The gent even chatted with me further about a few things unrelated, no sales tactics, just polite service. What the rep didn't know is that I have been comparing Ocean Sports with many other suppliers for over 3 years and have many times considered buying from them in the past. Ultimately, my surfboard arrived in a ridiculously short time, packaged perfectly, to my door, signature required and confirmed delivery before I even realized it was shipped out. In a world where customer service is basically dead, this young man stood out. I am a well informed customer and am very happy with everything Ocean Sports has done in this transaction. Give him a raise, give him a day off, promote him. Thanks again, can't wait to use the board. You have a customer for as long as you're in business.

Marc Harris: Kyle remade the cover for our gazebo, great work!!!! He used our original as a template and constructed the replacement. The gazebo is 13 feet across and definitely needed some major wrangling to sew it. Kyle piped all the joints and capped the peak so it would not leak. We were kept up to date on the progress and were always greeted with an enthusiastic, positive, very friendly attitude. Kyle and Luke were very pleased when I brought in photos of the gazebo. Luke went through all the work when I picked it up, and made sure to let me know that if anything needed adjustment all we needed to do is bring it in.Kyle and Luke offered above and beyond customer service from the time we arrived right up to the present, thanks again for everything!!!!

Chris Anderson: It's an awesome place for renting tools. I needed a chainsaw for trimming a tree. Called spoke with Shane, and he was able to help determine which chainsaw would be best for the job. Dropped by an hour later with no appointment and was able to get the chainsaw. I'm definitely going back for any other tool rentals I need! I would definitely recommend for others to go here for tool rentals big and small.

Peter Brew: Originally spoke with Ryan at the Sherwood park location to rent a 3” wood chipper went to go pick it up at the Edmonton yellowhead location but told me the guy before me broke it and they would upgrade me to the 6” for the same price which was awesome. The boys at the Edmonton location Cole and the mechanic Jarvis helped me out as when I got it home i forgot about one of the safeties and he was out within 30 minutes. Excellent service and staff, I would recommend then to anyone 👍🏻👍🏻.

Dayton Rhine: Been going here for over 10 years now and hands down best place to purchase winter / ski gear in the area. They carry rare brands like Icelandic moment and used to carry on3p idk if they still do. No other ski shop carrys these ski brands. Same with boots they have dalbellos. Same with ski gear they always have the newest Armada / orage pants and jackets they also carry almost every goggle brand and style. Good place and the owners are really nice.

After 5-10 minutes he returned and said they hadn't been able to loosen those bolts either and recommended I make an appointment and ask them to work on it for an hour at the shop rate of $100/hour. But he didn't charge me anything for the time spent today. He also advised me that my back brake cable needed to be replaced since it would soon fray.Excellent service!

Norm Trottier: We bought new bikes and a year later one of them started making a thumping sound. Took it in a couple times, then the service manager Jeff took over. They replaced everything they could think of. We talked to Tracy who is one of their bike techs….it was a puzzle for them. They rode it and the noise wouldn’t go away. They finally found a rare issue with the rear wheel that was the cause. They were helpful and provided great customer service while they tried to fix. So happy they got the issue resolved. Thats why we buy local and from reputable shops…. They care!
