We had to replace three pairs of skis and some boots for the family, it was relaxed and super informative and I think everyone is getting exactly what they want. Such a different experience from the big box stores, the time taken to make sure everything fits perfectly gives me a ton of confidence buying here. 100% recommend!

Is a belle Ringing: This was the best ski boot shopping experience. The staff is so professional and knowledgeable. We were able to get fitted with a staff member one on one. They had a few days waitlist to have the ski sized for the boots we bought, but we could not wait because we were going skiing the next day. Even though I declined the sizing, Carson went ahead and sized them in 10 minutes for us. Amazing customer service... I won't go anywhere else for my gear anymore.
Jake Scheck: Great local shop. Been around for years. Purchased my first board here when I was 14. Now I shop here for my kids. They did an amazing edge repair on my son's board recently. Top ply and bottom ply completely separated and the edge was bent sticking out after a rough crash. When I got the board back, it looked like a minor scuff. Could hardly tell what happened to it. Nice work guys and gals. It was worth the repair. This shop stocks a lot of high quality products and large selections of inventory. Talk to the staff, they know their stuff.

Laura: Fantastic Canadian born store for outdoor gear and clothing, with a wide selection of items for hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, camping, running, and other outdoor activities. They have their own line of clothing and gear that is high-quality and moderately priced. They have an environmental ethos, with strong corporate sustainability commitments. This chain used to be a co-op that was member-run, though sadly it's now American-owned.

David Gartner: Lots of outdoor oriented gear. Prices for some items seem a little high, however I believe they try to source their merchandise from suppliers that treat workers fairly. This may account for some of the price differential.
A Davis: Spacious store with everything under the sun. And if you are willing to dedicate an hour or two of time, you can locate some amazing deals. I've found an inexplicably discounted rack of Craft jackets, decent winter running leggings, perfect cycling shoes, merino wool socks and hats, t-shirts and most recently, excellent slip-ons. My MEC winter running jacket from 15+ years ago is still perfectly intact minus the zipper.

Kirk Dewhurst: This location is convenient and easy to access. It’s part of a two storey store that has Sport Chek on the second floor. Of course Sport Chek owns this store. But they really two different stores. This one is for the adventurer because it caters to the hiker and backpacker. So tents and sleeping bags and backpacks and other related products. You can even get kayaks here, although once you’ve bought it how to get it home is the question. Anyways it’s a nice place that is clean and well lit.
