Dr. Scott’s examination and diagnosis was thorough and in-depth, followed by an individually-tailored treatment recommendation. Surgery was successful, with 100% recovery and rehabilitation supported by knowledgeable, committed and readily available staff. Fully positive experience, recommended without reservation!
J McCee: so we would greatly appreciate avoiding any more 4-legged surgeries if at all possible! One week into the meds and it appears the diagnosis was correct. Dr. Scott was also gentle in his examination of Pippa, personable, forthcoming, and funny! We will definitely go back for all our animal orthopedic needs. Note though, I don't believe they are seeing pets for regular treatment. I left a message about Pippa's knee and got an immediate call back. I was told I was called back because they continue to see pets with orthopedic concerns 🌝

perry: . The Emergency clinic saw it as a cash grab opportunity and were conducting all kings of unnecessary tests. I told them no more when they wanted to do an expensive barium test. They were rude, I paid them and they said my dog may not make it through the night.Next day I took my dog to Belle Rive Pet Hospital and Dr.Howlett said that those previous expensive tests were totally unnecessary. He put my doggo on IV and I picked him up a day later and he was back to great health.I totally recommend this clinic!

t t: I have a senior dog. At his previous vet, we often left feeling unheard, and uncared for. Even though he's generally in good health, as he ages I do get worried. I was reluctant but I finally made the switch to a new vet closer to my home. From the moment I first called to see if they had any availability, I felt that I was being listened to and given compassion. We worry about our pets, we have to be their voice sometimes too. The reception, the vet techs, and the veterinarian all made me feel very confident that my old guy was getting the best care and attention. Everything was explained to me clearly and I never felt backed into a corner on making a decision for treatment.

They did a great job and were very helpful during the healing process. I really felt that they went above and beyond.
Candace Chwartacki: explains things very well and his directions are easy to follow. He gives many options not just medically but for prices as well. After my cats check ups and surgeries the front desk ladies always called to ask how Chester was doing. We recently came in for a small wound and Doctor Zandi remembered me and chester. I believe the prices are fair as the service is very high. If you want a vet who is knowledgeable, easy to work with and cares about your pet as much as you do Albany vet is an excellent choice.

Morgan D: I've done a review before and doing one again!My previous dog Taco used to go here but has sadly passed but my puppy Taquito has been a patient here since I first got him and has been here recently for both allergies snd just recently all day today since he was vomiting for over a day.The price was reasonable, the techs and the vet was great and seeing the smiles on their faces when I bring him in makes me feel so happy. They really cared for him and I'm so glad I brought him to see the people he loves. He loves seeing his techs and his vet and that just goes to show much they care.Little Taquito is a tired boy but I'm sure he's feeling much better.

Pitch got sick last week and due to poor timing I was unfortunately out of town and needed to board him somewhere that would also give him his medications. South side took him in that same day to my relief.Pitch was not a happy camper but with some stress relieving meds he came around and the girls actually got to meet my happy boy. Bug: My very old hamster started showing signs of the end a couple weeks ago. It got bad after a couple days and I had to take him in to get put to sleep. I was devastated and nervous from past uncomfortable and traumatic vet visits at other clinics. I called and they assured me that he would be in the best hands and he was. I brought him in and they proceeded to be very patient and thoughtful with us. It made a bad day a little easier. A couple days later I received a card from them with additional sympathies written. I appreciate whole heartedly the care and compassion they put in for my Cheerio. Thank you South Side Animal Hospital.

Top Secret: I love this practice as a whole and Dr Littlejohn is just great in so many ways- he’s straight up, detailed, attentive, explains things very clearly and without rushing, compassionate etc you can just tell this is truly his passion. He often will follow up at the end of the day or a few days later after you see him to see how your pet is doing which I just really think is so amazing. He makes efforts to be as reasonable as possible with costs and will tell you what is essential and what would be maybe not as essential. I moved around a lot with my last dog so have seen a variety of vets and dr Littlejohn is the best. My last dog I was at the clinic practically every 2-3 weeks her last few months and the care the whole clinic team gave to me and my dog was unparalleled. Very selfishly, I hope he never retires.

Our vet hospital consists of a treatment room, a surgical suite, separate dog and cat rooms, an x-ray room, a laboratory, a pharmacy and two examination rooms. Our clinic provides a variety of veterinary services for your pet including surgical and dental services, laboratory and radiology diagnostics, thorough examinations, consultations, wellness programs, as well as emergency care and extended care.

You know right away when you meet people who truly love what they do and are engaged with their customers. keira_ drawing queen: Best veterinarian clinic I' ve ever been to! The staff are all so kind and caring. I have a 21 year old cat who has had severe diarrhea. Other than that for being so old he's healthy. Dr.Stickney has been so patient,caring,empathetic and very kind to me. Ive had a few melt downs in front of her.She is very understanding.Instead of just saying" you need to euthanize him" she has been looking for different solutions to get rid of his diarrhea. She gave him medication and recommended me buying special GI food for him. He is much better now and putting on weight. There is another animal hospital I won' t mention. Basically forced me to euthanize my dog after christmas without doing any examination. I still regret not taking him to this clinic.I rescued another dog in February . Dr.Stickney gave her a very thorough examination.She listens to everything I have to say .Answers all my questions. I' ve been to lots of vets and I' ve never had a vet do such a thorough examination on my animal.I will never take my animals anywhere else. I' m very happy with Dr.Stickney and all her staff. If you want a good, thorough , kind, caring veterinarian .Take my review seriously and take your fur babies to this clinic. They will be in very good hands.
Nic T: I love this vet. They're super knowledgeable and friendly. I brought my older Kitty there for 16 years and now my kittens. I trust all the vets in this clinic and appreciate their approach to animal care. Not only are the vets stellar but the techs and admin staff are also amazing. I think this clinic is fair with their prices for the high level of care and respect they offer to their clients. Highly recommend this clinic.

Anna Bana: I’ve been going to this vet clinic for years. The vets here are so kind and understanding and really want the best for your pet. The front staff is also very nice and welcoming. The clinic is under renovation currently but it will be much larger and modern. The only downside sometimes the phones don’t connect / long wait times on the phone but they get to you as fast as they can.

Everybody here is so respectful and understanding. I needed to get an appointment asap because I was worried and I knew Oxford animal hospital would not let me down and I stood correct. Once I had called they told me that they were very busy but they would squeeze me in and get me seen right away. I head on over and within minutes I was in the exam room and the doctor was doing his exam. They listed out all my options on how to care for my baby and in no way did I feel pressure or rushed to make a decision. They treat your babies like their own. Cannot thank Oxford Animal Hospital enough for all they have done for me!!
