Today I had my second vein removed, and just like last time it was quick and smooth. A change in policy that was thrown at me put me into a bit of a panic, but the staff there helped to calm me so I could go through the procedure. Thank you very much to Dr Yu and his entire team!

You can feel how personable, kind and empathetic this Doctor is. He even gave me a hug in the morning after my surgery. His whole team was also very nice, which includes the anesthesiologist, who I apologized, I forgot the name, he went above & beyond to make me comfortable before surgery and even talked to me about my anemia which I thought was no longer his concern. He didn't just put me to sleep but made me comfortable the whole time. Thank you so so much. I was lucky to have these 2 Doctors and the nurses who helped assist the surgery.

He joked around to ease the stress of the situation, and he and his team of nurses chatted with me throughout to help distract me from the procedure. Though he was invested in making me feel comfortable, at the same time he also got down to business right away, and the procedure went more quickly than I imagined. While Dr. Olson jokes around throughout, he never made me feel he was taking anything lightly; in fact, he gave the opposite impression, exuding a deep sense of care and compassion. The office was bright and welcoming and the staff were quick to greet me and get me set up. I waited a little bit past my appointment time for the doctor, but I understand how easy it is to get behind working in a medical office so it was no issue at all. The staff kept me apprised, assured me I would be seen soon, and I was. I have a lot of medical trauma and anxiety and so I was very nervous to meet the doctor, but from the moment he came out to bring me back, Dr. Chea radiated warmth and compassion. He did not once rush me or cut me off, listened to all of my concerns, and seemed to have a good understanding of trauma-informed care when he examined me. He took all of my concerns to heart while we came up with a treatment plan and truly made me feel like the most important member of my healthcare team. For the first time in a very long time, I left a medical appointment feeling empowered and like things might just take a turn for the better. Thank you, Dr. Chea!
