The Valley Zoo Development Society is seeking individuals, local artists, designers, and creatives with a passion for art and animals to submit light-focused art designs for our upcoming Zoominescence: A Festival of Light.


Join the team from Little Ray's Nature Centres to Get Closer to some of their animal visitors, learn some animal fun facts and how you can support animal conservation!


The last admission window is an hour prior to closing time. The zoo will be cleared at the closing time listed.


Annual members receive unlimited admission during regular public hours for a year from the date of purchase.

Free parking is available in a large parking lot immediately outside of the zoo entranceway.

Take a spin on the conservation carousel! Each of the carousel animals represents an endangered animal that calls the zoo home. Rides on the carousel are available by donation and all proceeds will be donated to conservation programs supported by the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Riders must be below 54 inches and 50 lbs.
