John Engel: Came in on a cold winter night for the first time in Feb. The ceaser salad was excellent and the chamomile tea was lovely. Prices were reasonable, service was great. For a bit there I thought the place was too hot , then I realized the cozy fireplace and the hot tea had fully defrosted me, and moved to another spot. What a great place to relax and read a few chapters while enjoying a nice cuppa. Some places have music too loud for me to read, here it was an ideal fit. Looking forward to my next 'treat me' night at the Tea Palace.

I’ve been to Acquired Taste Tea Company a few times and have been blown away both times.I used just “sort of” like tea and drank it because it wasn’t coffee in the afternoon. That was until I discovered Acquired Taste. The quality of the tea is second to none. Even just the smell of the tea leaves was enough to make me realize the top tier quality of the product. Once it’s steeped, it’s a delicious experience for both senses, taste and smell. I won’t buy tea anywhere else going forward.

I first had a cup of that mild green oolong at the Lake Agnes Tea House, high in the mountains above Lake Louise: that's Lake Agnes, in the picture. Thanks to T Kettle, I can brew a cup at home and remember that very high time!

I placed an order and it arrived in my mailbox later that day with an additional free sample. I plugged in my kettle and gave it a try. I ordered a green tea and thoroughly enjoyed the entire cup. The sample tea was also delicious so my next order was for 100g of it. The tea is very fresh and flavourful. The price is fair and the service is phenomenal. I would highly recommend them to all tea drinkers. David’s is no longer my go to as they are too big a monopoly and continue to disappoint with customer service. Hurray for Vintage Fork!

The atmosphere is super chill, glad the sitting area is finally open. The menu selection has a great variety and from the drinks I've tried, I've enjoyed them all. Highly recommend the Sakura konjac topping for those who don't enjoy tapioca as much, but a combination of tapioca and Sakura konjac is amazing!

Joycelyn Deep: I was just in the shop and ended up having an episode in which I needed to access a washroom very quickly. The lady immediately showed me the closest one in the bowling alley. I ended up going back up to the store and having to return quickly back downstairs again. The Lady had kept my stuff I'd purchased elsewhere, plus a beautiful lacquer Set I'd purchased there, wrapping it for me and had it ready for when I came back the 2nd time. She'd asked what my issue was the 1st time I'd returned and when I came back the 2nd time she gave me some ginger to help and offered to buy me a cup of tea as well. I just needed to get home quickly so she sent a tea bag with me to enjoy at home. They have lots of unique tea and collectables so if you're looking for unique idea's to buy for a tea drinker...this is the place to visit. If you're on Whyte Ave at the NW corner of Calgary trail northbound you're there. Ok, a better landmark is the the Strathcona hotel, but these guys are down a flight of stairs.Don't be scared by the label Vegan because there is so much texture, richness, and delicious flavour in anything they bring you. I wish I had taken pics. Next time.

I've never had anything like the foam before! It is made with hazelnuts and is rich and delicious.I spoke to the very kind lady working there and she mentioned you can buy a cup of just the foam to take home and put in your tea at home or even use it on pancakes or waffles.The location is a bit difficult to get to and find parking, but it is worth the effort!Vegetarian options: It is a vegan tea place

Geneviève Therrien: I came out of Strathcona market and needed something to drink and I saw some signs for Nuttea. I went downstairs to go find them. No expectation at all. I found a little gem! I was greeted immediately and explained the different drinks. I wanted something with no caffeine so they suggested a smoothie or a milk. I tried a berry smoothie with a berry nut cream on top with some bubble tapioca. The berry nut cream was out of this world. I did not realize something could taste so good made out of nuts! It was delicious. I loved this discovery.

Erin S: I have visited for a few different readings with various readers and have always had a divine experience. The atmosphere of the shop is calming and inviting. I would spend my whole day there if I could! The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have also attended workshops here in their upstairs space and thoroughly enjoyed my time and look forward to coming to more classes and booking more readings!

They sure did help me and some of my friends. You just have to be open minded.My go to person is Heather. I had a Tarot reading, Palmistry and a little bit of Pendulum with her. The sessions I had with her answered the questions which no one else could have.Also, just by sitting at their lounge area can already give you a sense of peace.I highly recommend this place and more sessions with their other readers for me later on.

W.: My best friend and I came in to do palm readings, we had originally booked a time slot but I panicked thinking we would be late so I called in to let them know we may be a few minutes late, as a service provider myself I know how frustrating it is to have people show up late...anyway I got quite the attitude with the person on the other end of the phone, which put me off immediately, we actually didn't wind up being late at all. We saw Heather, and were very pleased with our session. It was a fun experience, for sure. While I waited for my friend I had a snickerdoodle cookie, it was very dry and I was disappointed. They have some cool things to buy. Thanks to Heather, it was a nice way to spend some time. It's a relaxing space.

The Other: . Her reading was extremely accurate and the most comprehensive in a long time. The store has a calm and unique vibe must different than other stores. Seems quite community orientated. Would recommend getting a reading by her and visiting the store if you get a chance.
