Sithira Amaradasa: Ok I am a Sri Lankan / Asian who likes to try any Good Meat as a Western! This place is so good with awesome delicious meals and great qty of MEATS! It's situates on WEM Ground Floor Food Court. YUM YUM 😋Kid-friendliness: My Kids Love it! Less Spicy and Fantastic Taste

Ameena Mehdi: Ordered beef with noodles. Excellent!!! Taste of noodles were out of this world.. beef needs a little more taste or spice.. but the combo with noodles makes up for it.Food: 5/5 …

Ian Gault: . The tempura was well breaded and had a nice crunch to the outside. Definitely worth every, would eat here again.

Mark Medalla: Great food! Will be my family's go to when in West Edmonton Mall

leny jeane seblos: Recommended dishes Chicken Katsu Bowl, Edamame Pods …

Liyah M: This place is unrated the food is really good and worth the reasonable price, it’s affordable for a big serving!! I always go here to get chicken katsu/bento box/teriyaki udon and it never disappoints me. This is my favorite place to eat at in the food court and don’t even bother going to edo because they serve small and it’s more expensive, this place is a must try.

Yamuna Thapa: We really enjoyed thank you so much ❤️

Kayla Beach: One of the best places in West Edmonton Mall to eat. Prices are affordable and the food is amazing. I’ve had the beef tepanyaki with black pepper sauce many times and it’s so good.I’ve also had the chicken katsu with black pepper sauce and it was delicious. Chicken was juicy and the vegetables were awesome.I also recommend the Bento boxes and the Milk tea with Tapioca.Overall, 5 stars. You have to eat here!

Tarik S: AMAZING restaurant style food in a food court for half the cost. Fresh, hot and delicious and the portions are huge. Our go to place when shopping at WEM. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone looking for something delicious and so worth trying.Recommended dishes Mango Chicken …

Troy “Dr2Chips” Ounce: First authentic mango chicken in the city.Vegetarian options: The sauce that accompanies the meal is deliciously unique.Kid-friendliness: Galaxyland by Hasbro is only a couple steps.Parking: Worlds largest parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Electronic doors for ease of entry into the food court.

Vietnamese’s RVing: This place is at WEM phase 1 food court. Well price and the food is delicious and amazing, the quality and the freshness in the food is no comparison. The Sushi is “so good “ as my kids say it. The Edo Japan, the wok box, the udon, the sushi express these places cheap out on there quality.Recommended dishes Tempura, Dragon Eye, Teppanyaki Beef Teriyaki Chicken …

Bobby B: is so creamy, filled with umami and delicious. The bacon gives it such a savory taste as well.Shacka shacka fries are like mcdonald fries, stuck in a bag with shacka shacka seasoning and than mixed. It's sweet, salty and filled with umami and crispy.

Alex K: Dorinku is one of my all time favourite restaurant’s. The pressed salmon sushi is very good and the carbonara udon, is probably my favourite dishes to try. The calamari and chicken skin was pretty good as well for appetizers. The employees are very welcoming and gives it that authentic Japan vibe when you walk in.Parking: Has a strip of parking, if its not busy its not bad parking

Sydney Rayne: delicious food and service is always great! the pressed salmon sushi roll is sooo tasty. as well as the chicken udon! great flavour.

Ikki Sake Bar: what do users think?

Carlie: Amazing drinks exceptional customer service.Jesse makes the best drinks !

Henning Van Den Berg: It was a cool place to check out, I love Japanese whiskey and Shake so I had to try this place, they had technical difficulties in the kitchen so I can't really tell if the food was good because I didn't have any, the ladies behind the bar seemed like they were new and was still learning how to make some of the cocktails but I give them A+ for effort, they did not do too bad and the drinks they made even if they had to look up the recipe for them was pretty good.

HyunJun Cho: Servers were really nice, loved the music, interior was impressive, sat here more than couple hours easily. The whole vibe made us comfortable.Definitely will come back, it just became one of the nicest time we spent in Edmonton.

William Chen: Great place to hang out with friends. Owner is super nice and friendly. Food is good and selection of sake is pretty good. The food is a little pricey though. Smaller tables are a little too small.

WB CONTRACTING: Totally original!! Tried the taco dogs! Very tasty!! Followed by the salmon sushi! Drinks and food were A fresh experience!! 👍👌👊

Furusato Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Phillip Hayek: Recommended dishes Assorted Sushi

Greg McCool: I was blown away by the food. Probably the best Japanese I've ever had. I will definitely be back there again.

Jillian Ahlisch: Excellent experience. The food was fresh and good quality. Miso soup Salmon sashimi, fursoato special roll, and butterfly roll were all delicious. The service was wonderful. We will definitely be dining again

Andy L: . The sashimi felt like a good value given the quality and price. That being said, the pieces were smaller than most places. Overall, it felt like a small hidden gem on Whyte.

Pauline Wong: Always a pleasure dining here. We dine in and order takeout regularly and the service is consistently great every time. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and fresh, the menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian options, and the portions are generous, even for takeout.

Washoku Bistro: what do users think?

Carly Marie: Cute little spot with a fair sized menu. The portions were great, with amazing flavour. Great little space to meet a friend or take someone on a causal date.Vegetarian options: Limited options for vegetarians, the Yam rolls were a win though.

Love Your Back: We were close in the area when I had a craving for sushi.. after a quick google search this place came up with great reviews and decided to walk in. We were greeted right away, had to wait a few mins for a table but we’re put in one of the rooms: I’m always afraid of out of sight, out of mind.. but we were looked after! Also if they offer you complimentary miso soup, get it! It was warm & yummy! I’m more of a traditional sushi gal, I don’t care much for fancy rolls, so what I ordered was negitoro maki, salmon maki, dynamite & California rolls.. everything was fresh, rolled tight & pretty wasabi flowers. Yummm! We will return!

Yeh Warren: Chicken karaage curry is awesome!

Daniel Jimenez: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Katsu Don, Hurricane Roll

Twitchy: Had lunch at Washoku on a recent Saturday. I expected it to be busier but there were only 5 other tables occupied. Service was very good. We had the chicken udon, a sashimi & nigiri bento, salmon combo, tuna combo, shrimp combo and a yam roll. The udon soup, rolls and nigiri were all very good and I would give them a 5 star rating. However the bento box had a couple of items that stopped me from giving Washoku an overall 5 star rating. While the bento box was generally very good, the slice of octopus was extremely chewy. Also, the tuna sashimi was very cold, not quite fully thawed out. The salmon sashimi was fine.

Izakaya Tomo: what do users think?

土萠ほたる: and his friends. The food is out of this world 🌎 and really enjoyed chilling to some authentic J-rock. If I had it my way, I'd eat here daily during my stay in the city.Unfortunately, I live in Vancouver Island and tye pandemic rolled along, then gave the loser the boot while both my girls are now teenagers busy with summer jobs and no longer interested in roadtrip back to the area. However, totally bookmarked this place in hopes I will be able to visit Edmonton again to really relax and eat here again.Kid-friendliness: Good kid-friendly environment. My two daughters felt right at home with the food and music while the staff were very polite and mindful to my girls.Parking: Free parking stalls with ample parking. If only it was that easy in restaurants where I live!

Jonny Vu: Best meal we have had in Edmonton after evacuating. Service was amazing!

Jesse Ertman: Good food! The Edmame was delicious. Had a decent amount of gluten free options and had gluten free soy sauce which was nice. Service was great our waitress was very friendly. If I had to complain about something I'd say the chairs aren't very comfortable. No backs on them, but that shouldn't stop you from going there. Definetly one of the better sushi places in the yeg area! Also service was fast so if you need a quick meal this is the place to go!Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options!

Lydia Chugg: So good and great service!

Andrew Kim: Very good assortment of dishes on menu, sushi and nigiri’s are on point and very fresh, was so full but couldnt stop eating. High quality service and friendly staff Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: They have clean high chairs readily available, kids cup and bowl as well as kid learner chopsticks 🥢👍🏻

Sushi Niwa: what do users think?

Jeff Vanelle: One of the few Japanese places in a food court that I trust blindly.Great couple running it, committed to good food.I would book a table if this was a stand alone restaurant, instead of a food court stall. The lunch bento is unbeatable downtown, for its price and quality.I hope the renovations of the mall won't hit you too hard.Thank you for the years of great lunches!

Jacob: Always fantastic food. I consistently look forward to eating here. Huge blessing to interact with the workers - so friendly! 11/10 exceedingly delicious

Conor Hildebrandt: Spectacular quality of food for the price, fast service and always friendly. Truly a hidden gem downtown, this has been my go-to for lunch

Mark Jackson: Some of the best sushi and prices in the city. The owners are very polite and friendly, and they also have some dishes you won't typically find even in higher end restaurants.

Avi Dey: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is organized and clean. Food is great and the prices are excellent. Great place for a quick sushi lunch

Jonathan Taves: Delicious food, great service! Good place to grab lunch downtown

Jenny Miller: Love the sushi and lunch bentos here! The pork cutlet one is awesome. Great pricing and the owner is very friendly too.

Joe Losby: which comes with a tasty sweet soy sauce.

Ken Proudman: A hidden gem, I love their food and the welcoming people who run it. They also have excellent Korean dishes and ramen. Restaurant quality at food court prices and convenience, can't beat that

Let's Grill Sushi & Izakaya: what do users think?

David Duong: Got the Miso ramen, comes with meat, seaweed, corn and an egg.Oddly enough they dont have regular Tonkotsu ramen on their menu. The broth was savory and the noodles were good. The highlight of this restaurant's ramen is definitely the cha shu meat.Very flavorful and seared well, I definitely reccomend getting extra meat. The egg was unmarinated but cooked well. The portions however were a bit lacking, I found myself only relatively full and I even drank all the broth.Coming here was a nice experience, glad I tried it.But if I ever did come here for ramen again, it would just be for the meat.Otherwise there are other ramen places I would rather go.

Jennylyn Villagen: Very good ramen one of the best ramen I had and the staff is nice

Cee Gee: I love the unagi rice bowl. It’s everything in it.The sushi doesn’t taste like fresh compared to other Japanese restos that I’ve been to but it was still good.

Janny Nguyen: The katsu curry and salmon oishi roll was absolutely delicious! The grilled stuff was also really good, especially the Lamb. Would definitely be back!

Taylor Bauwens: Always great food for a great price.

mireille cumine: I can't speak to the other food so much because I only ever have gotten the spicy ramen but holy moly is it good! The service is great. Food is delicious. I could drink that broth with a straw just nothing but broth. It's so good. The tra is really yummy too and the tea pot it came in is really beautiful and now I want one just like it.

Eriq Collantes: Always good food and service. Still one of the best for service and quality

Darryl Molloy: I absolutely love this place! Fantastic food and great value for the money. What's not to like?!Oh wait, there's more! As with almost all of my reviews, it's the staff who either make or break the customer experience.Incredibly kind, funny and a true delight to interact with the staff here. With every visit, they reinforce why I will be a lifelong customer. Great food, great value and fantastic people! Can't recommend this business highly enough!

Maki Maki Japanese & Vietnamese Restaurant: what do users think?

joe blondin: Top notch sushi every time i come here! Consistently amazing food plus super friendly staff makes it easily one of my favourite places to have a night out. Shaira was a real delight, great service!

alma angeles: . The presentation was good and most importantly, everything tasted great. Yum! Ambience is really cool. I love the decor and the music and the vibe, it really set the mood. Most of the customers we spoke to were pleased too. Staff was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, they were very eager to serve in any way they can. Parking was spacious. You couldn’t ask for more. Thanks, Maki Maki!❤️❤️

Anne Angeles: The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We came in on Sunday and it got a little busy but our waitress remained a good host. We ordered what we would typically get at other Japanese restaurants, expecting the standard smaller servings we are used to seeing nowadays and were completely blown away when our plates were brought out. There was so much food. To give you an idea, the beef tataki was on a large square plate and the serving was easily three times as much as what I’ve seen from other Japanese restaurants. The dragon eyes were about two times the size of what I’m used to as well. We also got the spicy tuna rolls, agedashi tofu, a bento box, and deep fried squid. Everything was well cooked and tasted great. Definitely coming back to enjoy the service and the food. Highly recommended!

Manchi Lo: I have been coming here for over 12 years and I have had my birthday celebrations here too because of the awesome food, excellent hospitality, quick service and friendly staff. They have renovated their restaurant to keep it fresh and beautiful too. They have great photo backgrounds to take with friends and a private room for gatherings too. They are open late so it's perfect for post shows at the northern Jubilee too or after any concert or game. The staff make you feel like family and remember your order and what you like. There have a delicious variety of Vietnamese and Japanese food. The pho and sushi rolls with sashimi are a few of my favorite. I definitely recommend to come here and go plan your next special occasion here.
