A Campbell: Wellspring is an amazing, welcoming, and supportive place to visit or attend classes if you are a cancer patient or family member of someone facing cancer. Don't be hesitant about getting in touch!The team at WS did not skip a beat when the COVID restrictions were enacted. Although the building had to close, they jumped right into action and in time offered the same caliber of classes and inspirational talks on-line. Each time I participate, I am lifted up.
Trisha Harrison: This class was very enjoyable, the instructions were easy to understand, and the supplies we received we very nice and you could tell they were package with love.
Christina Piecha: Wellspring brings a wonderful community of healing, and love. It helps to remind me that I am not alone in my cancer journey.
william kwok: As a cancer patient, this program is highly recommended for all other cancer patients.
Vicki Dowd: Just completed a breathing and relaxation course with Hong Yan. It was truly amazing. I felt both invigorated and relaxed after the class and had a greater awareness of how using more of your body to breathe makes a positive difference both mentally and physically.
Carol Ann Beedling: I would encourage anyone experiencing cancer to take advantage of the programs at Wellspring. It feels like a small trip away from the constant demands of sickness. You step into a space where people give you actual help to cope, want to listen and answer questions or give you something to do that is beautiful.I liked going to Wellspring, it is beautiful, welcoming and well designed. I also liked the zoom experience, after I figured it out, because I didn’t have to get in the car but stayed at home to enjoy the class. Easy to fit into my day.When people tell you to, “take care of yourself” and then walk away....go to Wellspring and hold on to your faith.

S Singh: Before Caregivers Alberta, I was confused, feeling a sense of loneliness, unsupported and abandoned into a role I wasn’t prepared for. Overnight, I became companion to caregiver. How does one keep these roles separate from each other? It was a very challenging moment in our lives. For three years, I did everything alone feeling more confused, and unsupported.Until I was introduced to Caregivers Alberta. They changed my life! At my last session with my intake worker, she said she was proud of me because when I first started with them, I was different and today I’m more like myself again! Coming from her, it meant lots. Thanks to the amazing staff, workshops and online support I developed new skills, coping through difficult times and how to create boundaries. Listening to all the other hardworking, amazing caregivers I met through Caregivers Alberta, taking the workshops and having my intake worker including all the staff I spoke with along side my journey has helped me process and understand my situation better. It also made me realize, I’m not alone! I do have people who care, understand, relate and emphasize the challenges, we the Caregivers, face. I highly advise anyone who is or becoming a Caregiver to contact the organization and participate in the seminars, workshops and support groups. It will benefit you a great deal!
