Unfamiliar with how sunrooms are manufactured, I made some calls here and there and got nowhere. My final attempt was made by calling Ideal. I took my sample piece in to see if they had that particular profile. Anne took a quick picture and told me she would get back to me. The following morning she called back with good news. This is fairly old channel but we found some in the warehouse for you. So off I went only to find out I was in for some more good news. I asked Anne how much? No charge, she replied.I've been contracting for thirty plus years and I must say this kind of service and kindness brought me back in time by at least two decades. There were no issues with the building permit or the inspection after the installation, as Art had a superior design from the start. We did require a variance for our zoning permit though, as we were about a meter and a half too close to the back fence. Art got us a variance for the permit.Kyle and Alex did the installation of our deck cover. It was very apparent that they were highly skilled, and the installation work they did was spectacular!I would highly recommend this company.

Our Sunspace sunroom is of such high quality; I only regret we didn't get this done sooner. Our previous sunroom leaked every year, and most recently a roof panel blew off in a storm. I appreciate all of Art's recommendations to make this our favourite room of the house. The construction team did a great job: no days off, and they worked long days. There were many small finishing issues which were attended to without me needing to point them out to the team. They have high finishing standards which have ensured the sunroom looks like it was always part of our house. Art and Jackie were great to work with. First before signing the contract we asked our lawyer to review the paper work and his answer was.. “really nothing to review.. the only thing is the product name the size and the price.. basically you’re taking a chance “ but after seeing so many good reviews, we decided to give them the job.The product is very nice and the installers know how is right up there.One issue is that they utilize kind of green lumber not manufactured beams, and the results are showing during the install where they have to use twisting tricks to make the beams fits. As a result a few months of drying and the gap’s around the windows become quite uneven.One window came in opening the wrong side. It took 13 months to finally have it corrected.Since the contract is lacking details, during the install, things come up they were not expecting.. as doubling a floor joist is needed here and there, but nothing is communicated and at the end they try to get more money.. suspecting that the increase of lumber price is affecting the bottom line. As a tradesman myself I was there for most of the project and giving many hours of help, and during the floor install, I insisted of having a second layer of plywood. I bought and paid for all the material needed to meet building code requirements and was going to install in the evening. They insisted to help and do it before they leave that day. Since it seemed appropriate for them to help after all the help I was providing, I was quite surprised when Art brought this item as an extra. It took less than an hour. I agreed to pay an extra sum for some flashing material that was needed to replace the skirting material that was destroyed in the process.So in all I give them a pass mark “80%” and would suggest if you’re investing this kind of money to expect any extra to be highlighted estimated and approved as they arise not at the end of the job. Art knew he didn’t have a leg to stand on, and accepted my offer to pay for the flashing.

Joan Hertz: The advice, the product, and the installation was professionally done. We went with a higher ceiling and clear panels for the roof - allows us to sit outside and look up at the stars. It's super easy to slide the windows up and down to enjoy your screen in the summer. I would definitely recommend this product and the owner/manager for his great advice and professionalism.

The aluminum structure and screens were installed in 2 days, then later on the custom-made vinyl panes arrived and completed our 3-season sun room that we now enjoy so much. The price quoted was the final price as well. Also got great advice on heating solutions to make it a almost 4 season room. The only minor complaint is that it was built 3 weeks after the proposed date in late fall, but very forgivable considering how much we like it.

Rejean Dallaire: We had Suncoast build a very nice screen room about a month ago. We now spend a lot of time in this new addition bug free. They're very nice to deal with. The price is up there, but when you get estimates from other companies, you'll find that Suncoast is less expensive but the material used is similar if not better. Suncoast don't pull permits, but they will help you get the paper work ready to take it to the city yourself.
