97 Hotpot 涮涮鍋: what do users think?

David: . Definitely one of my go to places for hot pot lunch downtown!

goodgalbribri: It was my first time at this hot pot location because I usually go to ones on the south side but I was very impressed by this restaurant! I loved the amount of broth choices they had but the Malaysian curry one stood out to me the most and I’m glad I picked it. I will definitely have to go back to try more of them out. The sauces station had a good selection and was also kept very tidy. The portion sizes were very good and the AYCE was very affordable at $29 plus tax. Everything came out in a timely manner and the staff was very attentive and always came by to refill our water.Even tho downtown is getting sketchy the parking felt safe and it was nice to see they even had some security camera outside. They even had the feed displayed on TVs that can be seen from most of the restaurant. It’s nice being able to keep an eye on your vehicle while at dinner. The ice cream at the end was the perfect way to end an already very satisfying dinner. The best part was hearing/seeing about 9 mamamoo MVs on the TV tho . It’s rare to get 1 or 2 mamamoo songs in public but this was easily the most I’ve heard and I loved every second of it. They have easily become my new favourite hot pot place.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ: what do users think?

Jason Nie: Coming to Edmonton from Vancouver, I must come to taste the most famous and luxurious Japanese barbecue in the area, Gyu-Kaku, it is correct, I am not disappointed, I am a person who is picky about things, but Gyu-Kaku in Edmonton Kaku is great both in terms of service and food quality, it should be regarded as the top local, I come back every time I come to taste it! recommend!

Yokozuna: what do users think?

Wai S: I absolutely LOVE this place! This is one of the few Japanese restaurants in the city that keeps it authentic yet still modern! The service from the staff is friendly, professional and quick! The food is always amazing! Portions are a good size and tastes great each and every time! It’s nice that not all the dishes are completely soaked in sauce, I like how everything compliments. Prices are excellent! I was recommended to this place from my Japanese friends and it is my go to!!

THERESA S: We had a lovely dinner at Yokozuna recently. I have learned that the best way to ensure a table is to make a reservation. We shared a large sashimi platter as well as dynamite rolls, California rolls and edamame. Everything was delicious, and the staff were very attentive without hovering. The booth seating offers a little privacy and is ideal for date nights. We will definitely be back.

A Raj: My wife and I finally got to try this place. Excellent customer service! Super friendly and quick. The atmosphere was great, and we loved the little hidden booths on the sides. The food was amazing! We barely used the soya sauce and ate the ginger separately to cleanse oir palate between each roll to get the flavor instead of dumping soya sauce on it and eating ginger together. The quality and taste was fantastic. The price was reasonable. Having tried numerous sushi places in Edmonton, this one is our new favorite. We can't wait to come back!

Cat Tunzon: Celebrated mom’s 65th birthday and it did not disappoint! The food was great and we think the price justifies its taste and serving. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Try the Butakaku for appetizer! Just thinking about it makes me want to go back 🤤Oh, I remembered that it doesn’t have kid’s chair, but my 15mos old didn’t bother and still loved the food!
