Smith S: Went here after friends high praises, we spent all week hitting local gems and this was the last spot, thankfully because it truly raised the bar.We stepped in and immediately fell in love, the whole building is just so charming.Every single person was so nice and cool and helpful, Ryo and Matt Vo were so lovely as well as a young woman whose name we didnt catch unfortunately. The food was all immaculate and was out so fast! Like shockingly fast, and it was all perfectly done, perfect portions but still great value.Husband got two affogatos and the honeybread dessert was the perfect ending. We’re so going to be coming back

Hansik Korean Cuisine: what do users think?

Ameena Muhammad: Delicious Korean food! We tried the gochu bulgogi, the gochu short ribs, the bulgogi shabu shabu, and the sweet spicy korean fried chicken. We also had the tteokboki as an appetizer! The portions for the mains are quite small- for a full meal one portion is good for maybe 2 people at most. Everything was delicious! Our favorite was the gochu bulgogi with rice. The service was lacking slightly- we were not given an adequate amount of plates and utensils and had to ask multiple times. Along with that, we were given our entrees but without the rice, and by the time the rice arrived the entrees were cold. But super tasty! And so happy they have a halal menu!Dietary restrictions: Halal beef and chicken is available! But be sure to ask in advance.

Leon: Nice variety of food and the prices are reasonable for Korean food! I thought the chicken ended being a bit overfried and drier as a result but I have heard that they are better sometimes! Had their lettuce wraps and 4 pieces of lettuce felt to few to start with, but it tastes great along with rice as well. Would recommend coming here with others to try a soup as well to have along with the pork and rice! Makes for a good meal to share that way.

Hassaan Faridi: Service, atmosphere and food were all really good. We were greeted and seated promptly. The server explained the dishes we asked for. The food came quickly and everything was fresh and hot. Everything we ate tasted great. The place has quite a bit of seating. We went there a bit early for dinner, so there weren't many people. The washrooms were clean.

INSADONG EDMONTON KOREAN RESTAURANT: what do users think?

Kenrick Li: A good place for a casual lunch. Food was clean and tasty. The broth was rich and delicious for a colder day. Ample seating inside and service as quick enough.

Jebs M: Took my friend with me for Korean BBQ here - neither of us were very familiar with it but the lady who served us was super helpful and friendly. She was very nice and seemed happy to help. If you are new like us, press the call button for service otherwise they won't come to you.Had a lot of fun grilling up our meats and the rest of the dishes were also really delicious. Really great experience and would definitely like to bring more friends too.

Shera Zhang: This is a Korean barbecue restaurant with great taste and atmosphere. We came from Vancouver and ate very fresh beef and pork belly here. The taste is even better than most Korean restaurants in Vancouver. Especially the combination of pig intestines and tofu soup for the first time, which surprised us! If we travel again, we will definitely eat here again! It is worth mentioning that the service here is also very good. The boss will not only help with barbecue, but also give a lot of suggestions for ordering. We felt the enthusiasm and friendliness of the proprietress, thank you very much!

백수김도마: Great food!!!Thanks~

Boris Adjagbe: Amazing food and amazing experience. The staffs are very friendly and always ready to help. A special thanks to Jenny for the great hospitality you’ve provided to my friends and I. We are looking forward to the next time we will come eat there and hopefully see you.

Michael Mateo: Amazing food and even better service!

Ivan Huynh: My family and I ended up finding this gem of a restaurant in the Korean section of Google and it was amazing! Our waitress was not only incredibly nice but she was also very accommodating for our needs. The food itself was also fairly priced and delicious! I will definitely come back here again soon!

Kelly Chung: Super delicious foods. We love all dishes there they cooked with passion.

Jed’s Kitchen: It was definitely a great experience! The food was amazing, the owner was so friendly and accomodating. If you’re looking for an authentic korean bbq, this is best place to dine in!

Mei Chun Cheng: Tasty dishes. Not too salty.

Kevin Rojas: The food was delicious. The staff was also very polite! Fast service.

Joh Trin: Tried this place out based on the nearest Korean resto where we were as we weren’t familiar with that area of Edmonton. So glad we did! Apart from the great food and reasonable price points, the lady owner was so kind and very accommodating while single-handedly did the servicing of all tables.

nico5 rynn5: were kinda small. Could have been 5 stars if they refilled those. Service was great too. Expected to pay more but to my good surprise was lower.

Jon and Rachel Huizing: Went here for lunch with coworkers. This place is CLEAN. Nice private table settings with full height dividers. We tried dumplings, deep fried chicken, and pork appetizers. Lots of little sides to go with the appetizers. For a main course I went for the Bulgogi, extra spicy. Food was so steaming hot I had to let it cool a little before eating! Food was delicious and portion sizes were large. Spicy red pepper flakes had me sweating a little - perfect level of heat. Drink menu could use a little work, but our server always made sure we had cold water. Extremely friendly staff and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back!

Abdilfatah: Really good Authentic Korean food. Can't go wrong with any dish. Service was good and quick.Vegetarian options: Black bean and Tofu dishes available

Sharlin Aparri: The pork bone soup is a must try. It’s packed with flavour and spiciness that is so good. The deep fried chicken is a hit for our kids, as well as the vegetable pancake. The spicy rice cake is also good and the rest of the bibimbaps. Thumbs up! Parking was accessible and they have high chairs for kids.

Magna Karda: I had a spicy tofu stew , damn really yummy , side dishes are yummy , great service , clean washroom , here is more likely fine dining restaurant with decent price by the quality , if you have never tried Korean foods , I recommend you to come to check here 🤙

Vivian Triana: We ordered delivery and the food was simply delicious 🤤 the portions are good! The preparation and delivery time was fast and the value for what we got was amazing. Will certainly get food from this restaurant again. Happy I tried themDietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …

Korean Village Restaurant: what do users think?

Manda Coates: I just went there tonight and oh my!! The food was incredible, the staff were so helpful and have us recommendations on what was most popular and what to try if we liked ________.I hands down will be doing back here ❤️Amazing food, great atmosphere and helpful staff. 👌 10/10 from me

Carmen: Kind of expensive for a small selection of Korean bbq all you can eat buffet but really good quality. Very good venting system! Super friendly staff

Mirth Mage: .I said to the lady that she is amazing because she was able to handle the busy restaurant on her own and keep it running smoothly. Yes there are people in the back doing food prep, but she was magnificent in how she managed everything. She actually apologized because she gave her other staff the night off due to Boxing Day and Christmas. What a wonderful person.Anyway, if you want to have a friendly dining experience in a clean restaurant, with tasty food and a very reasonable price….Do yourself a favour and find this place. It is a little hidden away, but it is worth the adventure to dine here. This is a place I’ll add to my list of “come back when I’m in Edmonton again!”My thanks to the hostess— who turned out to be an owner!Updated May 14, 2023:We came back to Edmonton and had to stop in here again

Kevin Nguyen: We were traveling from Calgary, coincidentally found this restaurant online and booked a reservation in case it got busy. As someone who has travelled to South Korea many times, I can say the vibe of this restaurant is very similar to authentic ones in Seoul. It's all you can eat bbq, self serve and has a surcharge if you don't finish your food. The owner was very kind to us, reminds me of my mom and even gave us choco pies as a bill dessert - that's the first for me! The food was great and also don't expect super quality, because you're setting the bar too high. It's simply Korean food, cook the meat and eat it. I'd come back here again the next time I come to Edmonton.

Aliya Weening: Restaurant was clean and had a fairly good atmosphere with nice lights and simple decor. My partner and I shared the whole gochujang samkyup-sal, and it was delicious, flavourful, and tender. It was not quite enough food for us. We also had a Nutella and banana waffle, which was quite dry. I would absolutely return for the pork and rice, but would skip dessert next time.Vegetarian options: Several vegan and vegetarian options, all looked comparable to other options on the menu.

Tryphina Aviles: Love the chicken buldak. It was my 2nd time to eat and its always amazing. I might order it again next time i dine here. Actually i think most items on the menu is good. We liked everything we ordered- fried chicken, bibimbap, bingsu. Also love that the place have a good amout of space, we brought two babies and both strollers were beside us.

T Eu: , cheese corn, bulgogi udon, Korean army stew, grilled pork and rice wine. All were great! Kid friendly and was busy at dinner so make a reservation! Good and drinks came fast and the service was great!Vegetarian options: They have a whole page for vegetarian and vegan menu.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for family dinners and toddler seatingParking: Lots of street parking in the front and sides. But we parked in the parking lot in the back which was free

Ben: Great taste and great atmosphere compared to other restaurants. However, the price of meals are pricier than other restaurant compared to service of staffs and portion of meals.I definitely go this restaurant later for sure, not regularly though because of the price. I bet at least taste and atmosphere are really good.

Aaron Fong: Very good Korean restaurant! Excellent food and service

Cheska de luna: we also like their honey bread!!!they are pretty consistent with the taste of food but I noticed that their cold potato side dish was not as tasty... and it doesn't have the same amount of other ingredients.they also have a happy hour!

eden belanger: We ordered five dishes for the table shared between the two of us. The food was fantastic, I had fun pressing the button for the server. The to-go containers are small plastic boxes. It was interesting how no one came to ask if we wanted more water, etc. Honestly, I liked it a lot! Perfect spot for a date night so you can get your food and talk in peace without constant interruptions. The staff was friendly when present, our booth was bright and centrally located. You can enter from the back alley where the parking is or enter through the front, either is an acceptable entrance. If you have a disability that prevents you from using chopsticks, bring a fork if you require it as the standard utensils here are a soup spoon and chopsticks. It is wheelchair friendly through the main entrance but cannot remember if there are accessibility buttons for the doors.

Sajita Sitaula: Exceptional customer service where they went above and beyond for me. For context, I ordered food via Ubereats who delayed my order by 2 hrs and ultimately cancelled my order. However, the staff called me and offered me to pick up my food. They kept my food on warmer and even gave extra side dishes all free of cost. I have to say I have never experienced such level of hospitality ever in my life. Kudos Hanjan!! It is so nice to see when businesses care about people and provide such level of professionalism and care.

Bulgogi House: what do users think?

James Frost: We were a group of 8 or so and arrived hungry on a Saturday afternoon. We were brought to Edmonton on some family business, having travelled from Vancouver a few days prior. Two of our group were born and raised in the Garneau area, and were regaling in fond memories of Bulgogi House over drinks. “Why not go tomorrow?” The rest of us asked, mouths watering in anticipation of the delicious food that was being described to us in such fine detail. The two obliged, and plans were made. We would have Saturday lunch. We had no reservation, a bold move for a group of our size. Despite showing up unannounced we were greeted warmly by the owner and were sat immediately at a large table. We took in the vintage decor with admiration, such light fixtures are difficult to find these days. A friend and I decided to share a bottle of soju. Yes, it was early, but our business in town was rather unpleasant and alcohol had proven itself to be a sufficient lubricant in the days past, why stop now? The owner helped us to understand the differences between the soju offerings and set us up with a bottle to suit our needs. she brought 8 glasses and we told her we only needed two. This resulted in a hearty laugh from both our host and the table. Tsing Tao for the rest and we were on our way. Crispy wonton dumplings, bowls of kimchi, and tteokbokki hit the table. We were asked if we liked fish cakes, to which we answered, “of course!” Our host added extra fish cakes to the tteokbokki, to be certain that there was at least one piece for each person to try. The first bites were bursting with flavour, and had us clamouring for more. Everyone went their own way for our main plates. Mostly a mix of lunch specials and bibimbap. One at our table chose the clay pot bibimbap, which looked and smelled incredible as it sizzled at the table. My bulgogi lunch special was of great value, the plate barely able to hold the fair quantities of fresh vegetables, rice, and meat. I poured some kimchi juice over the rice and took in the cornucopia of flavour, texture, and aroma. Upon finishing our meal we were presented with 8 complimentary slices of fresh juicy watermelon. The perfect end to a flawless meal. We left basking in the glow of bulgogi house, the delicious food and genuine service supplying us with the fuel we needed to push through the rest of the days events. Many thanks bulgogi house, may you never change.

Roy Shroud: I started going to this restaurant in 1975 when it had only 3 tables! They introduced me to a large variety of delicious dishes which I still enjoy to this day!I remember begging for mulnengmyun even on days in winter when it wasn’t on the menu but An, the cook and wife of the owner always obliged!I haven’t been back in close to 40 years as I moved to work in SE Asia but the memories remain.I also remember “Shirley” who as a waitress knew everyone by their first name.Best of LuckDave Lloyd

Hannah Fraser: Bulgogi House has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember! The food is ALWAYS 10/10 and the owners are so friendly and kind! Some favs are the Bulgogi, Japchae, Galbi, and the Yam/Potatoe Tempura. This place will always be my first choice to eat at when I'm in the area! And the Bean Sprout Salad is so good, it's worth buying extra to take home!

Chosun Korean: what do users think?

Adam Stringer: It's fire in every aspect of the word

josh chun: I ordered Pork Bone Stew and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. It was so delicious . Great Service and nice Food. I highly recommend this place.

Zhouxinyu Guo: Nice chicken soup and rice in UofA

shady: the bus

Patrick Erlandsen: Did some door repair recently for these guys and I could not resist the amazing smell while we worked. I went with the Spicy Pork rice bowl and it was so good. Perfectly seasoned and actually spicy! The prices are very fair. I was quite happy with the portion size. The restaurant was very clean and well lit. The staff were all very friendly and service was fast. If you find yourself in the HUB mall at the University, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Barshana Aryal: They have the best staffs and the prices are reasonable

Kevin T: Their food is absolutely amazing! If I don’t pack a lunch, this is the only place I will eat!

Angel Victoria: One of my favourite spots to eat on campus!! They have great combo deals

Bahaa Kaiss Mallak: Great place and their pork bowl stew is amazing!

Breakfast #1: Best restaurant within HUB Mall. Would typically expect a larger quantity and bigger selection of side dishes to be served to accompany a meal. Furthermore, the quantity of the meal for the price is on the low side. With that being said, the quality of the dishes is pretty good. All of their soups are at least pretty good. Would recommend ordering anything that ISN'T from their buffet/counter area.
