We enjoy Irish , Scottish whiskey. Owner is very friendly, pleasant and benevolent. We will back again and again. Thank you so much for a good time and delicious food.

Ashford House Pub: what do users think?

R M: but the service I received from Kaylin and Kat was outstanding. So sweet, so personable and accommodated all my needs and drink requests. One of the most pleasant pub experiences in Edmonton I’ve had in a long time - mostly because of the service. Highly recommend.

Rachelle has Van Adestine: Quaint Atmosphere Quality Comfort Food enjoyable engaging staff. I'll be back sooner than later. So good.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy parking easy entrance Bathroom accomodates all kinds

Carol Matthews: Our server Samantha was super friendly and efficient. Our food was tasty and we’d highly recommend the Caesar salad. Enjoyed the wide selection of Irish beers. We’ll be back!!😊Parking: So nice to have free parking right out front of Ashford House! The parking lot was clean and well lit.

Brad Campbell: Best Irish pub in YEG! Great beer and whiskey. Food is amazing. And the staff are outstanding. Highly recommend!!!

Natalie W: Since it was a gorgeous day out yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to enjoy some beer and snacks on their outdoor patio. We ordered the fish tacos and wings. Our food came out relatively quickly and our servers checked in on us several times to see how everything was/if we needed anything. There was just the right amount of batter on the fish tacos and I liked the guac and chips they had on the side. However, I would have liked more sauce on the tacos - perhaps something like a Chipotle mayo. We brought our dog with us and appreciated the bowl of ice water they had for her on such a hot day! I'm not sure if they have live music every Sunday, but that really contributed to the atmosphere.

Phiefer Johnson: I had the smash burger as my main. It was everything I could want in a smash burger. 10/10

The Glass Monkey: what do users think?

Cheryl Wolffe: The mushroom soup was phenomenal!!!

Shannon McConnell: I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Pretty restaurant and nice patio. The service was excellent. A great selection of wine and beer. For starters we had mushroom soup and chicken wings. The mushroom soup was delicious and flavourful. The S&P chicken wings were just slightly undercooked for my taste but they were juicy and had a nice crisp to them. I loved the fact that the carrots served were fresh juicy and crispy. Not old carrots as so often is served. For mains we both had Halibut with veggies, and rice. The halibut was lovely, well seasoned and fresh tasting. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the rice was light and fluffy. But for 43 dollars a plate I really would have liked a little more… wow.The bread pudding was rich, sweet, moist, and my favourite part of the meal. Not always a dessert person but I was glad I ordered this one. So yummy!

YEG.SELLS Edmonton: Excellent food! Great warm and friendly staff. Love the atmosphere. 💕

Autumn Murphy: Happy laid back attitudeWith atmosphere of kindness, warmth &Oh yes , Amazing Food !Parking: Parking is never difficult

Allan: Very cute environment, good people, but honestly the food felt like it was grasping for the 'metropolitan hipster gastropub' but doesn't quite achieve any quality. Worth a visit to see if it's your style. They're on an award list of some kind. Some people must have loved it.I've only been tried 6 seperate dishes, give it the benefit of the doubt until I've tried more I guess.Oh and remember, if you have the beet salad, it turns everything red. You're not dying haha

Miriadlove: I spent the last year WANTING to come here. I'm kicking myself for putting it off in favor of company coming with, or plans falling through due to Covid. An absolutely delicious experience.💙💙💙💙💙

Chantelyn Pineda: This place is so adorable and homey! A great patio to spend an evening with small plates, enjoy a pizza, or indulge in local cuisine.

Velma Ko: This was unexpectedly a good find. We sat out on the patio to enjoy the outdoors rather than in the darker decor of the Gastropub interior. The hostess and server were very welcoming and pleasant and accommodated us having outside food for the toddler until our meals were served. We ordered quiche and salad, burger and fries and quesadilla and fries. All were very tasty and had good eye appeal. I would make a return trip. It's within walking distance from home. Although we ordered from the lunch menu, dinner meals were available.Kid-friendliness: Booster chairs are available. But we had a stroller and table was adjusted to accommodate it.Parking: The restaurant is part of a strip mall, so parking is adequate and one can park very close to restaurants entrance.

Delaney Montague: Kaitlin was superb and gave me awesome service. One of the best patios Rob and Jennine are the most fantastic owners and always treat us like family.Would always recommend and keep coming back.

Match Eatery & Public House: what do users think?

Christopher Head: Friendly service. Great atmosphere... I miss match being open. Overall, it’s a decent place to eat.

Rowan Lumb: Match hosted a large silent auction fundraising event last week and everything ran completely smooth! We had 350 people attend and 146 silent auction items, but Match had every single employee working that night to ensure drinks, food, and overall level of service was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made sure to accommodate all of our needs. Would highly recommend Match and this venue for future events and/or an evening of food and drinks. Will be back soon!

Crystal Cameron: we have eaten here plenty an the food is very good an consistency is spot on

Mark Duthie (Next Level Media): Wow... Everything was just right. We will return and highly recommend.

Malt & Mortar: what do users think?

Wayne Dobush: Recommended dishes Fish & Chips, Wings, Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich

Brad Hebblethwaite: We arrived at Malt and Mortar seeking a nightcap and were greeted by an enchanting ambiance. Several noteworthy observations are as follows:As a married couple in our mid-30s, we were not seeking a bustling bar scene, and our expectations were met.We found great value in the prompt seating, allowing us to engage in meaningful conversation without the impediment of excessive noise. The establishment exudes a splendid and hospitable aura. Due to our late arrival, we regrettably cannot comment on the culinary offerings. Our server and bartender, Josh, proved to be a consummate delight to interact with, displaying an impressive reservoir of knowledge concerning craft beer. I fervently recommend this establishment!

Kamille De Guzman: Celebrated my bachelorette party in this nice spot in Whyte Ave. We loved their wings, poutine and yam fries! It was delicious! The waitress was great and easy to talk to, gave us some recommendations for drinks, my sister however did not like hers and she was kind enough to take it off on our bill. It was worth the money and I had a great time.

Fishington (Fishington): and chef Craig & team did an amazing job on the food. Kudos to the whole Malt & Mortar team for providing amazing food and even better service.
