Centre High Campus: what do users think?

Azarthian Gaming: The teachers were very supportive, and really amazing people. I really want to thank them all for really helping me , and for believing in me. For once in my life I actually felt like I belonged somewhere. I've also met some great people there was well. It really helped me out socially. I defiantly recommend this school if you're looking to upgrade, and start out fresh.

even abrham: school

Elisabeth BT: I thrived at this school. All of my teachers were amazing and helpful, and I ended up leaving the school with straight A's in all of my classes. I was originally embarrassed to come here, but I have to say it has been one of the best decisions I made in my life. I made lifelong friends here and learned so much. I was on the Mental Health Commitee and that helped me leave my shell and overall formed me into a better and more understanding person. Because of the wonderful teachers at this school, I will be going into post-secondary this January and being the first in my family to do so!I just got to say thank you to the amazing staff and the Student Services for making my 3 semesters at Centre High the best semesters in my whole school years.

kawthar Alawad: Wonderful place 💓

Jakeem Borden: Great for upgrading and/or getting your High School Diploma - it’s a nice school with a friendly environments and great teachers that have lots of helpful resources for students!

Ethan Bubley: Great for upgrading, good atmosphere for learning. Students take classes seriously.

Lunchbox Diner: what do users think?

Rosa S: The Lunchbox Diner is located in the industrial area just off 142 Street at 115 Ave.I went to the Lunchbox Diner for breakfast with a couple of friends and all 3 of us were extremely impressed with the food. We went around 10 am and because the diner is in an industrial area, we were the only customers. I assume that it would be filled to capacity at lunch time as the food is very good and not at all skimpy and the service was excellent. We were full and my friend ended up taking home half of her breakfast croissant. We definitely plan to return and might go for lunch this time.

Dave Merritt: We two had breakfast on a Tues. At 10:30. We were the only customers! The diner is in a commercial area and caters to the lunch trade. One of us had the standard sausage, eggs

John Stevens: Stopped with my wife to grab meal for the road. Service and friendliness were spot-on, the fries were great, and my wife enjoyed her sandwich.Worth a visit!

Ken Ferris: The food is good, well prepared, for a good price. The service is good, the place is clean, the decor is welcoming. Simple things, done well, are too often overlooked and taken for granted. If that statement resonates for you, go have breakfast or lunch there some day, especially if your in the area. McDonald's and the Westmount food court will still be there for another day.

Carlos Montoya: Great portions, great food, clean, very quickly delivered on the plate. And the hospitality was heart warming, cozy and delightful. Will visit soon and often thank you for warming up day.i was very happy with their coffee. 🙈The bacon 🥓 was king sized 🤴

Christy Schmidt: Excellent sandwich! Great service!

King: Friendly service, good food, classic dinner environment. Highly recommended.

Terry McHale: Five stars for the food! The reviews were true, the menu reads like other diners but is a step above. The fried chicken was moist and tender with a crunchy batter, the fries crispy and golden with a dusting of salt, the fish and chips, the same. The people friendly. The place is old and dated but you soon don't notice after the food arrives. So glad we tried it.

J. W.: 2023-02-16Homemade cooking from Lunchbox Diner! Highly recommend if you like east European cooking. Homemade apple pie is to die for!

James Carlisle: Good food and good service. Definitely your hole-in-the-wall type place with decor that brings you back to simpler days. Had the special which was a Ukrainian platter with borscht to start. Borscht was excellent, very tasty! The plate was perogies, sausage, and cabbage rolls, all of which were delicious. Will be back for sure!

Erica N: Helpful school with learning at your own pace would recommend for more one on one learning plans

Savannah Freiheit: Absolutely love this school, this school opens so many opportunities for your kid.

Trevor Fuller: When I was in grade 11 in the public school system, I was once shoved into my locker and had it LOCKED with me inside because I was different & for being a homosexual. The staff did nothing because they refused to believe that their best athletes could be so cruel... the janitor had to break the lock to get me out and the next day I dropped out.Half a year later, a very dear friend of mine, invited me to join her at B.S.E.C. even though she was well aware of the anxiety I had about returning to any school at all...It was THE BEST decision I ever made when I was a teenager. The staff at B.S.E.C. are the most open-minded & accepting people I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. They really go above & beyond what is & should be expected from anyone working in education because they really care about the success of each and every student that goes through their doors. Many of the students that attend this school know what it's like to feel dis-counted or in-adequate in the public school system. There are some that have seen & dealt with a lot in their lives so the level of understanding each others differences is amazing. It is because of this school that I was able to truly excel at not only what I was already good at, but also the things I wasn't. I even excelled at some things I never thought I could be good at.I would recommend this school to anyone & everyone that has ever had to endure more of the hardships in life than most others & I hope that they use the resources that are so freely given to them at this school to be/see/do everything they've always wanted to do in life.

D McAndrews: Best charter school ever.

Vasto Lorde: best school evar

Coliseum Steak & Pizza: what do users think?

Diana Hutsel: We were craving steaks and always find steaks here to be tender juicy and delicious. All four of us ordered the special, and we were not disappointed to receive our New York Striploin perfectly prepared. Our one critique was our server neglecting to provide us needed info or asking us how to split the bill.Otherwise it was a great evening where we ended up staying for deserts and coffee, not wanting to leave.

Jonah Hawkins: Service was friendly. Pizza and cesear salad I had were tasty.

Kkz K: 10/10 for everything! this is such a great place. the staff are incredibly kind. i ordered take out tonight for the first time, i usually dine in and they did not disappoint! i have been coming here since i was little and there’s a reason why it’s always busy still to this day ☺️ i am also impressed on the packaging for take out. it was very thought out and i like how the toppings for baked potato came individually packaged.

Elevated Learning Academy - Edmonton: what do users think?

Nathaniel Welsh: This academy is definitely top notch. My experience was invaluable and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in becoming a personal fitness trainer. The teachers/instructors Jarrod and Michael are very passionate about what they do and how they deliver knowledge and practicalities. They will do whatever it takes to help Evryone succeed. The on-boarding process is super easy and if your in Edmonton you will be dealing with a lady named Cathy and see will help you with the simple process of getting you enrolled. I’d highly recommend going this avenue!

Avneesh Sharma: This course is for anyone looking to advance their knowledge of personal fitness. Instructors Jarred and Crystal did an amazing job at relaying information in a retainable manner, giving me a solid foundation to start my personal training career in 2019. Year and bit into this, I have worked with clients of all levels, the rewarding feeling of helping someone improve their overall well-being is unmatched by anything else.Topics covered:- Principles of motivation & adherence- Functional assessments for posture, core, balance & flexibility- Programming for stability/mobility, resistance training, cardiorespiratory training & special populations

WomanUp Fitness: #GAMECHANGER I knew I had to receive my ACE certification in order to be able to make fitness a longterm career. I had tried the ACE at home study guide program and knew I had wasted over $800 in under 8 Minutes. ELA provided me with the classroom learning environment I needed as well as the hands on. The instructors are a great team together with a mix of science and practical learning techniques. On subjects that weren't clicking right away I was given 1 on 1 support as well as e-mail communication whenever I needed it. I am confident going into my ACE exam. Thank you ELA!

Sharina Palaypay: I was a little scared to take this program thinking I wouldn't get enough out of it in 4 months but I was proved wrong. It is fast paced but Jarred and Crystal are great at what they do and very helpful. Cathy, Terri, and Hazal are wonderful too and very welcoming. Lots of gym time and hands on learning. My only complaint is how short this program was because I had the best time and made life long friends. I definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to get certified in less than 6 months and feel confident in what they do when they get employed.

Mike Sobkiw: Loved this coarse!! The instructors and staff are first class and the content is super valuable!! I must say it’s a big challenge!! Be prepared to work!!!

King Of the jungle: Amazing Experiance, would never trade this 4 months for anything in the world.

Arianna Burkie: This is a great school, I 100% suggest it!!!

Melissa Mikula: Great friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful instructors/staff. The course is literally set up for success! Also enjoyed that the prerequisites are less tight than ex. NAIT and the course is only 4 months vs 2 years

Steven Briere: I can't believe the way they REALLY care! I went through so really difficult challenges and when I didn't know what to do anymore, I came to school and asked for help. AMAZING!!!!! That's all that jumps out. Every single person at Elevated Learning Academy truly cared and immediately gave me the tools to help me get through, what seem to be impossible challenges. I love each and everyone of the people I've had the honor of having the chance to know. Today I have my diploma and certification and I have job offers being thrown at me. If I can give one piece of advice to help others is, you can't make it from one end of the hall to the other in one step, but you can make it there one step at a time I love all of you at Elevated Learning Academy.

Miguel Sunglao: Great school! I went here 2 and a half years ago and I had a blast. The teachers are the best and educated. They guide you through everything you need to pass your exams. The Staff are very Helpful and friendly. I never felt like I was in school. If I could give them more than 5 star, i definitely would. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to be a personal trainer or nutritionist. I want to thank them for making me a great personal trainer.

Sloan Yaceyko: My experience at Elevated Learning Academy was one of my best schooling experiences I have ever had. The courses they provide are phenomenal, I took the nutrition and their personal fitness training and I have never been happier. Both courses provided me with so much new knowledge that I can apply in my everyday life and of course, my health and fitness career. The staff there I LOVE. Everyone there is so supportive and welcoming! Especially the teachers who are there to expand the knowledge of the students and help them prepare for their careers. I would recommend this program to anyone looking into a health and fitness career over the other courses and schooling that are out there as well. This program is way more hands on and it teaches you more of the "real world" stuff you face in this type of career everyday rather then just straight text book. In all the people at Elevated are so supportive and they want to see their students succeed and applying what they learned to their everyday lives. I say thank you to all of them

Alex Narsing: What is there not to love about this place!! From the initial meet up to discuss the program right up until I completed my diploma I was supported and taken care of whether it was personal issues or even finances, Elevated Learning Academy had my back and took me in to help my dream of becoming a Personal Fitness Trainer in just a short time. I attended ELA from March 2018 to July 2018 , only 4 months and I was able to achieve my diploma and certification for Personal Training. 100% would recommend to anyone who is passionate about pursuing a career in health and fitness! I was hired by World Health right out of school alongside 3 other people I attended ELA with. Chris and Jared were my instructors and could not have asked for a better duo to help teach and set realistic expectations before letting you go out into the personal trainer business. Jameela and Kari were wonderful to help out with any financial business and also just a ear to listen on the days that are a little tough to handle. Say Hello to Cathy she is a personal friend and she is great with people she will know exactly if this program is what is right for you! Please give it a chance and definitely check out a class so you can get an idea of how special of a place you just walked into.

Zannatul Ferdusi: If you want to be a healthy and fit human being in your life, you need to know your body, your food and your health appropriately. Applied Nutrition Science Diploma of Elevated Learning Academy is one of the best course to understand all of your basic and vital information related to the body including food and nutrition. This course would be the perfect guide for your physical, mental and social health and of course for others health too. The members of ELA are always very much supportive and positive in mind and in their activities. I will miss ELA always.

Argyll Centre: what do users think?

Kayla Nelson: is that I found there to be more parental involvement needed to keep an eye on the overall process.

Nikki: Teachers are really kind and made online classes really fun to look forward to !!

Naomi Rozak: Coming from homeschooling into public school, Caraway has been a great choice for us. It requires a bit of parent dedication to helping out in the class and in other ways, but that's a highlight for me. Teachers are committed to teaching with passion and modelling life well for the kids. I love that kids don't have to sit in desks all day and get to learn with engagement through projects, play, and real participation in their education. They're seen as individuals with varying strengths and needs. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a healthy alternative to the "normal" school model and have some time to partner with your kids in their education.

Stephanie Husby: My kids have attended the Caraway program out of Argyll Centre for the past 4+ years. We love the focus on community and social-emotional skills. The teachers are incredible and the whole community comes together to support each child where they are at and help them foster their individual interests. It's a rare school within the public system that allows for amazing project-based learning and for parents to be hands-on and really get to know the other children and their families. We particularly love the fun units like potion shop and entrepreneurship where they get to create and run their own businesses!

Teresa Canning: Fun park, Porta potty, and Green shack!

Andy Amster: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

Calyssa Wazny: I started going to this school because several of my friends, who had been going to this school for years, recommended it. I do my schoolwork from home and it was a little confusing, figuring out assignments and such, at first. But as I got a hand on things, I found that the amount of work was much smaller then some of the other schools I had gone to. So as long as you apply yourself, you can get the work done really quickly. There are also lots of options you can take.As for the teachers, I really like them for the most part. My biology and art teacher were awesome, answering my questions, inspiring me to do better in areas I lacked, and giving me reminders. There was one teacher that didn't seem to care about my learning at all and didn't answer some of my emails, but I don't really blame them. They had a lot of students to worry about and they still provided me with insight on what I could do better in.I know I don't speak for everyone, but if you plan on going to this school, you need to take the initiative in you learning. Some of the people I know that don't like this school aren't motivated, so they get behind and do worse. I even have that issue at times. The teachers already have so many more students to focus on because they do long distance schooling that, if you aren't persistent, they won't provide as much help to you. But from what I have heard from others and seen for myself, this school is really trying to improve itself and it provides really good courses. I still think they have things to work on, but they are way better then other schools I have gone to.

Levi Hevi: Best school ever.

Earls Kitchen + Bar: what do users think?

Denise Moraga Ñancucheo: Excelent serviceGood goodNice place

Thomas Stahlke: Earl's has some of the best happy hour specials. Many other places have an item or two on special each night of the week, but Earl's has a happy hour menu with a wide variety of items to choose from, including drinks and appetizers. Earl's also has a classy and cozy environment, and the downtown location has a fantastic patio too! One of my favorites for a casual evening out! That being said, the prices for everything have become exorbitant which makes for a costly evening.

Bobby B: Earls has always been a new years tradition for us and a dine in every here and there.Dynamite role is not bad, truffle fries are good, crab cake is fine, I think the stand out has to be the spinach dip. Quite rich, creamy and tasty. For being a chain restaraunt it's not bad.

Andreas Möllmann: Surprising for a restaurant chain like that to offer interesting and quiet frankly, tasty options like that.Had the nachos with guacamole and it was splendid. The nachos seemed home made and were crispy, hot and super good. The guacamole too seemed home made, i had big chunks of avocado in it and it was great.Poke bowl is a classic there.
