Sunny Chai: I am a very quiet guy, an introvert who does not really talk or interact much with people I do not know well. It is just very hard for me to make the first move and hold a conversation with someone I do not know that well, but coming to EDC Studio was a game changer for me.My first dance experience was actually with ballroom dancing at the university dance club, but then I was too shy to ask the instructors for help or ask someone to dance with so my progress was very slow. Then I found EDC Studio, and do not get me wrong I was and am still very shy in terms of asking people to dance hence I do not social dance, but the 3 main instructors at EDC Studio, Sydney, Alex, and Laureen, are all very friendly and approachable, especially Sydney, the director of EDC Studio. She just has this extraordinary present that makes you feel very comfortable to interact with, you can ask her anything in regards to dance and she will pour her heart out to try and answer your question to the best of her knowledge and the most important thing is she never makes you feel that you are not worthy on the dance floor. Having the privilege of dancing at EDC since its inception back in 2019, I have seen what Sydney had gone through to date and yet she always showed up to the studio with a lovely smile on her face, somehow she has this special ability to always lift you up in life through her dance. As for the most memorable moment dancing at EDC these years, is this one line from Sydney:"One step at a time, One thing at a time, and you will get there"So, if dancing is always something you wanted to try but are too shy to take the big step forward, I will highly recommend that you check out EDC Studio because Sydney will make a world of a difference for you through her superb personality and dance skills. She will make a dancer out of you as long as you have the desire to dance with no prior dance experience needed.

Under the owner, Chad, who has such a big wonderful heart, you will learn to dance, but you will meet many wonderful people and you will be part of something more, like a family. Chad does a wondeful job of creating a safe, comfortable, respected environment where people can dance, be themselves, and make friends. Jim worked with us to bring our vision of a simple, elegant first dance to life all within 5 sessions.We love Jim. We went into every session with him excited, and left each session counting down the days until our next one. Jim made the dance lessons fun. Tina Sabo: Took the Heels class with Marc. Awesome class led by an amazing teacher. Marc took the time to show us details of each step along the way. Had lots of fun and laughs. This class is an all inclusive class for any age or gender, which will help you feel good in your own skin. Left the class feeling like I had had a good workout. Now just to get the moves to flow like Marc does. I will definately take this class again if if is offered in the New Year.

Classes are full of time to practice and it feels like the whole class moves along at a steady pace without people getting left behind. There's a sense that we're all just there to have fun and it's very low pressure. It's super cool to have consistent social dances on Fridays & Saturdays, and you can attend with or without a partner, even if you've never danced before. Connor Doran: This is a fantastic studio that teaches many forms of dance, and various levels, and is also a welcoming community of people that has really helped me find a new home after I showed up for swing lessons 4 years ago on a New Year's resolution that has stuck in the most fantastic way possible. Make sure to make it out to the social dances on the weekends, there is bumping crowd with lots of people to dance with and awesome live music.

I finally came in and talked to someone at the front desk and she reassured me it was all good I had no experience and was very friendly. That was 3.5 years ago. I’ve been going to classes ever since. Dance code is one of my happy places. I have a membership and come a couple times a week. The instructors are talented af and lovely. Jessica Schaub: We took lessons here to choreograph the first dance for our wedding and opted for the 4-lesson package. John was so friendly and had the perfect balance of giving edits to help us look like pros without making us feel like we were entering a ballroom dance competition. We loved taking dance lessons during our wedding planning because it felt like a mini date every time. Highly recommend doing your wedding lessons here!
