JonJonPoPong: I was trying to figure something out for dinner and looking to try somewhere i hadn't been before.I thought I'd give Rice to Go a try as they have positive reviews.I ordered some chicken fried rice, lemon chicken and brocolli beef, all 3 dishes came out to just under $54.After having spent $80? At pf changs this was a steal.Rice to Go as the name implies is just a take out and maybe delivery resturaunt, there's no sitting in and eating.I placed my order 20 minutes before they closed and they were happy to take it, some places shut their kitchen down 30 minutes before close so this was nice.I kind of expected the food might not be good as this close to close one doesn't always get quality.That was not the case, the chicken fried rice were delicious and hot, great amount of chicken chunks and good ribbons of eggs throughout. I personally hate when places skimp on the egg and chicken in the fried rice, thankfully this was not the case.The lemon chicken was delicious, a large portion which one would hope for at $18 and the batter was crisp. The lemon sauce was also very tasty. I will say my friend doesn't like it and found the batter to be too much for his taste. However for me I thought it was great.The broccoli beef was in my opinion the weakest dish, it was good, the broccoli tasty but the beef wasn't at the level of the fried rice and lemon chicken.Ill definetly try this place again as the chicken fried rice and lemon chicken were fantastic.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choices to be had, fried rice is delicious.Kid-friendliness: Its take out so if your home is kid friendly that's up to you.Parking: Its a busy strip mall but there's a good amount of parking.Dietary restrictions: Its chinese food so you know what to expect. I'd say enjoy the brocolli beef if you don't eat gluten.

JonJonPoPong: I popped into Rice King for some Pho for lunch on my last trip to Edmonton.Its a quiet little place and the staff are friendly.I did my usual order of Pho, spring rolls, and vietnamese ice coffee.The coffee was standard, nice and enjoyable, however the spring rolls weren't good, they were okay, tasted like permade frozen spring rolls bought from a groccery store.The Pho was good, its very affordable and not a large portion size. They have very reasonable price. The meat was tasty and the broth and noodles were too.If you're in the neighbourhood and looking for lunch this is a good place.Again good price point and nice Pho, just needs in house made spring rolls or a different distributor.Service and staff were great, Pho tasty just those spring rolls bordered on being bad, so 4 stars.Vegetarian options: Its Pho, omit the meat and enjoy the noodles.Kid-friendliness: Families welcome.Parking: Fair amount of parking, not a huge number of stalls.

Nazeem Khan: Golden rice bowl is our go to Chinese food place. The food is always on point, the one set back is that there is a bit of a language barrier and that caused a mess up on our order the last time we were there where we requested shrimp without shells and were served shrimp with shells which really changes the flavor of the dish . Apart from that definitely recommend them for your Chinese as we have tried other places and none compares

Lee Hughes: I came in here post blood work after realizing I'd be too out of it to make myself food once I got home. The affects hit me harder and quicker than I expected and the person working at the counter noticed and was very nice. I'm not sure if it's something they're used to being right next to a DynaLife, but either way, they offered me apple juice and even brought my food to where I was sitting so I didn't have to get up to the counter. Seriously, the person working that day has my thanks ten times over and is probably the reason I didn't pass out on the bus and miss my stop.I can't say much on the food since I've only eaten here once, but it was decent. I got a noodle dish w the thin vermicelli noodles which is just not something I like much because my brain was NOT working at full capacity and I would've enjoyed rice more. That's on me though. The lychee fruit smoothie w the tapioca pearls was great!

Kyra L: Dragon Eye is always filling and good. I actually have to share that with my son as it is FILLING.Their Vietnamese coffee is nice and strong. Maybe stronger than what some restaurants tend to serve but I'm all for it as I tend to add an extra espresso shot to my Starbucks coffee and Tim's Ice Caps.

Kay Kusi: A definite must try.We ordered Honey Glazed meatballs, mango curry, beef stew, and California chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious!! My favorite was the mango curry. I don't eat Carribean often so I don't know how authentic it is but the jerk chicken was sold out before they got there so that must be a good one, too!The service was a little slow but there was only one person in the restaurant and she was very lovely to talk to and helpful for making our first time choices.We will be back for sure!

Danneyland: It was SO GOOD. We had the Taiwanese fried chicken and the Macau curry beef. The beef was falling apart with a super yummy beef flavour in a curry potato base. I'll definitely have to order it again. The Taiwanese chicken was all super juicy, crispy, and very tasty. The takeout containers are really cool with how they keep the rice separate. We also got some iced teas with jelly. This might be our new favourite restaurant.

When dining in, the servers always know which choices can be gluten free. If you're looking from home ahead of time, skipthedishes shows which ones are gluten free. My favorite and my toddler's favorite are the Singapore noodles.

I have not been here in months and the server remembered everything we ordered. I honestly can't say enough about this place. I will most definitely be coming back. I can't say enough about the food here. But the service. As an indigenous person I have received some of the worst service you could imagine. I would come back here for the service alone. I don't feel unwelcome or unwanted, or like my money isn't real. This place is hands down one of the best in Edmonton. Thank you for your delicious food and great service

Naturally, that’s an exaggeration but the food is very fast to get to the table.I would recommend the chicken noodle soup as that is very flavourful. Also, the prices are not exuberant so it bodes well for the students who do not want to spend too much.
