Record Collector's Paradise: what do users think?

BERSERKER BARBELL: Our go to record store whe we're in Edmonton. Friendly staff and a 10% discount for out of towners. They seem to have a high turn over of records, so we can always find something new each time we visit 👍👍

Bob Forsyth: Cool store, lots of selection.

Samuel Huber: This place is AMAZING! Super attentive staff, great layout, easy to find everything I was looking to check off the collection list! Loyalty card for discounts, this place is my go to! Thanks!

Mia Mets: I always find exactly what I’m looking for. Go subscribe to their newsletter

Shelly Clark: One of the best record stores I've ever been to. Excellent selection, well organized, clean and tidy store. Great staff!

Daniel McLaughlin: Traded in a small, sentimental collection that I inherited, super knowledgeable staff, upfront and super reasonable on pricing. INCREDIBLE collection of new and used on the shelves, take your time and dig through everything! There are treasures everywhere in there!Don’t forget your punch card.

Damon Mulligan: Absolutely amazing place!! Highly recommend if you collect albums, cds, and tapes. There is tons of variety and always new arrivals.

Sara Ouellette: Excellent friendly knowledgeable staff and great selection! Love stopping here monthly

Steve Baker: my kid grabbed a few 90's industrial CD's for 5 clams a pop which she spent the ride home reading the liner notes of while I tried to explain that this moment is something we've lost and the benefits of owing your media. The store is hyper organized making it super easy to find what you're looking for unless its not physically there or straddles some sort of boundary where it could be rock or metal etc etc.The atmosphere is dictated by the customers some days it's ultra quiet other days its full of pretentious "audiophiles" that speak too loudly in a stream of consciousness talking to no one and everyone as if to express in point form how much they know about music and how much more valid their opinions are than ours

Nicholas Wojdak: BEST RECORD STORE IN EDMONTONBEST RECORD STORE IN EDMONTONBEST RECORD STORE IN EDMONTONThere, that ought to manipulate Google's search algorithm. Record Collector's Paradise is a rare example of a store whose name is a wholly apt description. As someone whose only experience with record stores was the small selection at stores like HMV, I was blown away when I first found Record Collectors Paradise, and continue to shop there over a year later. It's hard to decide what my favorite aspect of this establishment is, as there is a *lot* to like here. From the giant collection of music, the wide array of formats from vinyl to CD to Cassette, or the fact that they also sell top quality audio gear *with* a warranty, it's hard not to spend an entire afternoon there, even if you're just looking around. But that doesn't bother the people that run the store. The sellers are polite, knowledgeable, and demonstrate a real passion for audio. I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen newcomers to music collecting come and ask these guys questions, and I'm always impressed at the excitement they exhibit when they get the chance to get new people into vinyl. Just today, I was having an issue with my turntable, and brought it in to have them troubleshoot, and they jumped at the chance to help. Not only did they help me isolate the problem, they walked me through steps and gear that could help me solve it. I promise you, if you want great service and a great collection of music, whether you're a seasoned collector or just getting your feet wet, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to go anywhere else.

Jason Wright: I love this place! I spend hours sifting through this store. The staff are great!

maren: they let me exchange it for a record of the same value, bless

TyRone Francis: Amazing selection of new and old. Everyone was so helpful, and very grateful to hear they came so highly recommended. I'll be back! If you collect vinyl, you should definitely check them.

Cynthia Kmetty: Their selection of games was amazing, my grandson loved it. The 2 people who worked there are so knowledgeable and friendly people. They were so helpful. If in Edmonton do go check this place out.

E M: Great selection of LP's, vintage and new. Found some albums that I had in my younger days. All seem in good condition. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

Mac L: Great prices, cash only. One of the better classic psychedelic rock selections in the city which are often $5-$10 cheaper than competitors.

Lindsey: Never a dull moment at EROC... Not only are the records in pristine condition - there is a wide variety to shop from. Terry is a true wizard as his mind is a rolodex of all his inventory. Even records from his $1 bin play well!Almost all of my rare/obscure records from the UK and other markets I buy from Terry are in absolutely mint condition! He is incredibly knowledgeable and doesn't judge you based on your musical tastes like many record shops do.I can't recommend this place enough to seasoned vets and/or people new to collecting LP's!
