Kevin Kieser: I have several Stihl power tools. This is the place I consistently go to for service, parts and to purchase Stihl products even though there is a Stihl dealer closer to where I live. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always give me great service. For example, I recently went into get a pull-string replaced on a chain saw. One of the staff immediately did the repair while I waited and charged nothing. You don't see service like that everywhere.
Ken Colwill: I have been to Backtrack twice now. Both times I found everyone there to be polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
K. Gilbertson: I purchased a Stihl chainsaw at the Backtrack St Albert store, but was not happy with it. I had a really hard time starting it, so I went back to the store. They exchanged it for me without question for one just slightly smaller but with the easy start system. This one works great! Both Gary and the rest of the staff at Backtrack were friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will continue to go there for any chainsaw needs I may have.
seabass233: These guys really helped me out. I needed a Stihl part. I ordered it from another store but it was backordered and was not likely to arrive anytime soon. I decided to look elsewhere and called these guys. They didn't have it either but they took my name and number. In minutes, they checked the wrecked units that they had in storage and found the exact part I needed! They showed great product knowledge and incredible customer service!!!
Ron K: I have bought a bunch of my STIHL stuff there and the guys are real good and knowledgeable at what they do ! I was storing my old piece of junk mower I use for a roto rake only when the recoil stopped working so I took it appart only to have it explode at which time I didn't know how to get it all back together...so I went to Backtrack with all the parts in a bin and in 5 mins the guy at the till had the spring wound tighter and the recoil working perfectly and he actually fixed it after closing time! As I asked "When do you close here" and he said "Oh about 12 minutes ago!"I said "How much do I owe you for that" He said "NOTHING"This is the only place I am going for my STIHL supplies and any other small motor issues now! They are great and deserve the business!

Kevin Berwick: They have selected parts in stock, however they get there parts very quickly from their suppliers. They are a lot faster by far then buying online, usually within 1-2 days for Stihl and 1 week for Husqvarna. Prices are reasonable for both Husqvarna and Stihl parts. They are a reliable source for parts in St.Albert.
