Breathe Outdoors (formerly Campers Village): what do users think?

Cyrus Weber: Breathe Outdoors is a great outdoors store. They have a large variety of goods and brands. Recently purchased a Rab sleeping bag for a fall camping trip. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The west-end store is a bit out of the way but is preferable to visit. The have yearly events with brand ambassadors which are also fun to attend.

Breathe Outdoors - formerly Campers Village: what do users think?

John Dea: I went in to buy a new pair of walking shoes/boots. My feet are hard to fit so it helps if I’m talking to someone who really knows the product.I talked to a sales associate named Tyler. His product knowledge was first class and he was able to discuss the pros and cons of every brand on the shelf. He was also very good at qualifying me for the type of activity I was doing to make sure I was looking at the right boot for me. I'm always impressed with the staff at Breathe Outdoors, their sales training and product knowledge always make for a pleasant shopping experience.

Bobby & Brenda: Ellen is amazing We talked with her on the phone, I asked her if she had a product that I needed she confirmed that she did with perfect description of the item I was looking for and she was so polite and kind on the phone and professional! Brenda and I decided to drive right down. Ellen was wonderful knowledgeable and informative. She was familiar hands-on with all the products in the store. Absolutely Fantastic! Breathe outdoors is the absolute go to place for all your camping and outdoor needs. ✅

E L Y: Always the best shop 😊

Enriquillo: All stuff you need

Chelsea Dawn: I purchased a nice life jacket & high quality bug spray & was very impressed with the affordable prices and friendly staff. Tom was super helpful & just a really great guy! Thanks Tom! We’ll be back in the future 😊

Leanne Stein: Great knowledge service! Looking forward to outdoor hiking & exploring this beautiful province 😀

Keegan McLennan: I like how much Kuma stuff they have. Local businesses supporting local businesses.

MEC Edmonton: what do users think?

Bob Woodford: MEC always an interesting place to shop.

Aidan Kolousek: My favourite store for all my gear and outdoor apparel! Mountain days sale is going on now too.. huge savings! All the staff are lovely and knowledgeable.

Deb Lewin: Love this location

Laura: Fantastic Canadian born store for outdoor gear and clothing, with a wide selection of items for hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, camping, running, and other outdoor activities. They have their own line of clothing and gear that is high-quality and moderately priced. They have an environmental ethos, with strong corporate sustainability commitments. This chain used to be a co-op that was member-run, though sadly it's now American-owned.

Cindy Ma: Good selection and location. Helpful and nice staff.

jake scheffer: Helpful staff. Good products.

R Beaubien: Great selection and help from staff.

Jenny Y: Outdoor equipment like everything else has gotten more and more expensive. However I do find their sales and clearance items quite reasonably priced.

Taylor Laschuk: A girl names Rebekah helped me today find a sleeping bag, water filter, and compression bag and gave me tips on finding backpacking trails, she was very friendly and helpful!

David Gartner: Lots of outdoor oriented gear. Prices for some items seem a little high, however I believe they try to source their merchandise from suppliers that treat workers fairly. This may account for some of the price differential.

A Davis: Spacious store with everything under the sun. And if you are willing to dedicate an hour or two of time, you can locate some amazing deals. I've found an inexplicably discounted rack of Craft jackets, decent winter running leggings, perfect cycling shoes, merino wool socks and hats, t-shirts and most recently, excellent slip-ons. My MEC winter running jacket from 15+ years ago is still perfectly intact minus the zipper.

Colby Lachance: Thank you to Graham and Leah for helping me pick amazing gear for my fire bag. We appreciate you! 🔥

MEC Edmonton South: what do users think?

Sue Chand: Astounding service!! Went in looking for a water bottle and shoes. Salespeople were incredibly friendly and on the ball. Definitely knowledgeable!!

Bobby K: Large and spacious store. Great selection of goods. I enjoy coming here, staff friendly and helpful. Good quality items.

Duncan Cochrane: Can you please just consolidate the two Edmonton stores.

Paul Mackey: Went to find a replacement tube for my Hydrapak in my MEC back pack. The 5 star part of the service was the extra lengths the store manager went to to honour a gift certificate we were given as a wedding present.. 30 years ago! Thank you.Initially was a little underwhelmed by the service as initially couldn’t find an assistant and person at customer service desk was not knowledgeable. When I eventually found a staff member on the floor he was much more helpful.

Christina Ashley: I love this location, helpful kind staff + competitive wages

Fleek Dasheek: GORPcore

A Davis: Clean, spacious store on one level. Lots of clearance items currently available, including winter jackets, jumpers and Craft cross-country ski pants. I prefer the layout of the Northside store, but service seems to be more readily available at this location. Ample parking is available out front in the lot.

Jillian Gordon: Great customer service. I was buying a pack for the very first time and had no idea what to look for. The staff were able to help me find a pack that was perfect for what I needed and fit my budget.

Madeline Kuss: Liam was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me find a fleece I wanted.

Patrick Smith: Unreal customer service. Honestly can't express how helpful these guys are!
