The Craft Connection Ltd: what do users think?

Hossein Shahrokhi: They have gorgeous and unique designs 😍

Steven Cleall: Excellent needlework shop, fortunate to still have a independent store in Edmonton. Wonderful selection of kits, huge selection and of threads. Always a pleasure to shop there.

E: Beautiful store, good prices and lovely staff! Will definitely come back! ❤️❤️

Crafty Crafty: Love it here.

Kate McKie: Cross stitch heaven! They have everything!

Lizz Robar: Great selection with very knowledgeable and patient staff. They definitely went the extra mile helping me find everything I needed and offered many helpful tips for this newbie.

E J: Linda is a genius at framing art work. Fast service, beautiful work, and reasonably priced

Kathryn Sousa: I have never personally been to their store, but I have ordered three or four times now, and they always respond promptly and as soon as I send the e-transfer, it's in the mail that day or the next day. They always have exactly what I need and are super friendly when I chat with them about what I'm looking for. If I ever make it to Edmonton, they will for sure be my first stop. Thanks from a small town in northern Ontario that has almost zero options for cross stitch supplies.

Michelle Byker: Such a huge selection of supplies. After buying aida online for years, it's so nice to have a place that cuts it so that you just buy the size you actually need. I'll definitely be coming back for my next project

Central Sewing Machine Inc.: what do users think?

Colleen Bethune: Purchased a Baby Lock sewing machine. Maureen was so knowledgeable. Both ladies were very friendly. Highly recommend buying a sewing machine from them.

Shelley Tkachyk: Wonderful stuff a great selection of all the items you need. And you don't get broken quilting rulers like with Amazon. Prices are very comparable.

Jennifer Klimochko: Very friendly and helpful staff!

Jocelyn Van Kesteren: Great service and knowledgeable staff

Ashintha de Silva: I love the selection here. I went here for my first sewing class before I went to design school, because I had never sewn in my life. The customer service is hit or miss. Though it's hard to find a one stop shop for lots of different types of sewing machines and tools.SALES: keep an eye out for their workshops and sales - joining their email list could be a good option.I went to a fabric sale here when an older fabric store was closing and got very high quality vintage Italian Wool Blends for dirt cheap.NEW DESIGNERS/seamstresses :FANTASTIC place for tools like a variety of French Curves , Large square rulers.Well organized based on purpose.

Stephanie Heinzel: Very good customer service. I placed an order from France. Keith, my interlocutor took the time to inform himself and to answer my questions. I recommend without hesitation.

Elaine Haase: Purchased some thread and Handi-Quilter needles for an HQ Fusian quilting machine. Staff was very helpful and prices reasonable.

Apecitysoldier: Great

Mary Odediran: Great and lively customer service. Variety of quality sewing machines and products

Johnson's Sewing Centre & Quilter's Dream: what do users think?

Kendra Kempin: I was having a hard time finding a bulb for my sewing machine. The ladies at the Johnson Sewing Centre were so helpful. They didn’t have a bulb specific for my brand of machine, so they went through what they had and found one that was just the same. Thank you so much ladies!

Mine Yesil: I visit the place today. They are helpful and kind. My Janome is working again , thanks.

Kari Elliott: Staff are always very helpful, knowledgeable and the repair staff are excellent. Highly recommend this store

Cassandra Govier: Very kind and helpful staff. My experience here was great.

Coral Foyd: Anytime I have had to deal with these good people has been beyond my expectations, I have a Ppaff Hobbylock 787 for work and every time I get service done on it , it’s like a brand new machine again, even after been through a leaking roof and getting things dried out, it never got wet but the humidity was high. So yes I’m extremely happy.

Courtney Albrecht: Wonderful and helpful staff. I bought a new machine and serger online and it was ready for pickup the next day. They also offer lessons on your new machine if needed.

Serafina K: I had a wonderful experience here the other day with Maxine! She was so lovely and showed me around the fabric area while we discussed my projects. She had lots of advice and encouragement which is so needed for new quilters! I left with enough fabric to start two new quilt tops in colours that I love. Thanks Maxine!

Cris Shantz: Very helpful and friendly. Was looking for a bobbin case, spoke to sales associate and she was able to get repair shop to look at case. Very knowledgeable on machines as well and love the fact you receive a class with your machine included in purchase.

Samantha Dreger: I love this store, I actually rarely go to different quilting stores. Everyone seems very knowledgeable and they're all very friendly in a down to earth kinda way. I like it!

Ingred Dubyk: Johnson sewing centre is amazing, the staff are amazing. I just felt so good about all the help they gave me. Without hesitation, Johnson sewing centre defines customer service.

Roxanne Reorda: i bought a Janome 9450 machine at the Red Deer Sewing Center in September 2020 & had it break dow 5 times in 3 months & they couldn't figure out how to fix it nor would they return my money, I had no idea what to do. I called Johnson's Sewing Centre & was lucky enough to have Craig answer. He told me t bring it up to Keith at the South store. I was expecting to have to leave it with him for a while but I was 1/2 way home & got a call from Keith that it was fixed & ready for pick up!!!! I can't say enough about their customer service & their skills!!!!! Thank you, thank you!!!!!

Central Sewing Machines Inc.: what do users think?

Gazelle Group: Rodney Stark and his team have been tremendously helpful. Best customer service I've ever had!

Glena Chwyl: A company that still provides excellent customer service. Rod is so professional, thorough and goes the extra mile. I had to have a big repair done to my Bernina 770 QE+ Kaffe Fassett and it works and looks like it is brand new again. Thank you so much Rod for the repair, support and follow up!

Sandy Barrie: I was on a mission for information and found the right person at central sewing machines inc. Chris Wetmore was a huge help. His knowledge on various machine and product lines was outstanding. We talked about everything from tension issues and how to solve them to long arm quilting machines and what would be the best fit for me. He was a wealth of information and I hope he never retires because he knows more about these machines than I ever will. Thanks Chris for taking the time to educate me on various product lines. I thoroughly enjoyed soaking up all the info he shared with me.

Anne Donaghy: The staff were very helpful with questions that I had about quilting software. I wish I lived closer to this store.

Suzanne van Dyk: Chris W. has been super helpful with all my questions about my longarm as well as my domestic machine. A wealth of valuable information.

Donna Belanger: Phoned to check on service procedures, instead was helped over the phone.....how refreshing is that. Thank you so much.

alli spence: Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prompt service.

Jacquie Gibson: I am a senior and don’t navigate software as well as the younger generation. I purchased the new Bernina software and when I ran into installation difficulties I called Keith at Central Sewing. He researched my problem and responded SO quickly. I am now enjoying the delights of new software. Keith, I thank you and highly recommend Keith and central sewing.

Melanie Collison: I am 100% pleased with the help Rodney Stark gave me for my locked-up Titan. He was quick to send me parts and gave me exactly the info and confidence I needed to fix my machine myself. I figure he saved me at least $200 for a repair, travel time and mileage, since I'm 50 km from a service depot. Many thanks, Rodney.

Yolanda Hurd: Central sewing machine store was very helpful when I called with questions about my Titan TN-650 bL industrial sewing machine

Constance Haselden: Fantastic sewing machine supplier in Edmonton and they support the product for years after you have purchased. I live in Victoria and have a Handiquilter Simply 16. Central Sewing is the Western Canadian distributor.I purchased my machine in Victoria and last year after 6 years of use was having minor issues with the machine.I called Central Sewing in Edmonton and Chris Wetmore walked me through a number of tests on the phone. His advice got my machine going again. This year I was having similar issues and Chris correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone, and sent me the replacement part right away.Central Sewing was also at the Quilt Canada conference in Vancouver in 2021. We were able to experiment on the new machines and purchase needed supplies. I recommend this company if you are a sewist and need help and advice with your machine! I haven’t had the pleasure of purchasing from them, but will go there first when I’m ready to replace my machines!

Ali Kamal: Awesome shop xlnt service

Joanne Kingma: My daughter and I run a small business here in Edmonton and we wanted to take the time to thank Keith, Kevin and all the staff at the south location for their continued support. We appreciate all the time they take to help us with little issues to big. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you for always taking the time to help!

Lara Kirby (Wiskers&Wrenches): We bought a machine for my partner's daughter for Christmas, as she has expressed interest in sewing. We bought a machine from the west store, but had a very negative experience with one of the associates, which left us feeling like we shouldn't have purchased the machine there. I emailed the owner to share our experience with her to make her aware, as we wanted to return the machine due to it.Muriel responded and apologized sincerely on behalf of the employee and her company. She offered to meet with us to apologize in person, so we went to talk with her. I'm so glad we did!Muriel was very sincere and explained that the associate we had our experience with has a lot going on behind the scenes, but she will be talking to them about the incident. Though that's not an excuse, we understand. Muriel took the time to explain the machine to my partner so he can explain it to his daughter. She explained how it works, what it comes with, etc. She also offered to give a free gift to his daughter as an apology for our experience at the west store. We went in not expecting anything free, we just wanted to discuss what happened and talk to someone who can correct behaviour, and potentially return the machine if we weren't satisfied with the response. Muriel turned our very negative experience into a very positive one, and retained me as a customer. I will continue to bring my machines there for service, and support the family business by buying my sewing needs there, and recommending them to my peers. My recommendation to anyone who has a negative experience with an associate at Central Sewing is to speak to Muriel, the owner, to explain what happened. She cannot fix what she doesn't know is broken, and this is a small family owned business. Support local.

Kathie Rees: Chris W. was friendly and helpful in fixing my Titan upholstery sewing machine. I will definitely be bringing my other machines for repairs here.

surendra kumar: Excelenty servic
