Strathcona Science Provincial Park: what do users think?

Gordon William Brunin: I met the love of my life there last year!

Craig James: I ride my mountain bike there. Fun trails.

A Laroc: So many trails! Such a hidden gem. Great place for a peaceful stroll and lots of picnic areas.

Richard Corry: Great place to stage and bike from.

Dmitriy Puryk: Great 👍🏼

Andrew Szeto: Nice little quiet place to go for a stroll. A bit hidden and out of the way. But nice if you are looking for a park in the city that's not busy.

Stuart pretzlaw: Always a great view!

Eckehardt krieger: Loved it. Every experience

Kyler Dyck: Very good time

Darryl Molloy: The park was once an aboriginal camp and the park was established to preserve the site from encroaching industrial development. The park contains several abandoned interpretive buildings which unfortunately are now shuttered. Remnants of the park's history as a public science center include triangular obelisks, a boardwalk and some interpretive plaques.Another discovery in the glorious city which I am fortunate enough to call home. Definitely a repeat visit is called for!Restrooms: Plenty of public washrooms.Picnic area: Ample areas for a picnic.

SScott McNeil: Natural trails and untouched nature at its finest , real treasure in Edmonton most would not know wasso near .

Kazeem Abolaji: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

Robert LeBlanc: Beautiful natural area with walkable trails within the city.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Faith Farthing: Dog-friendliness: and cat friendly!

Sreenath Nathan: Nice for evening walks

journey girl: It's wonderful to find such calm, beautiful nature within a city. So much to discover, one can easily spend many hours here following the various trails and watching the wildlife. Important to be cautious though, because the coyote population has greatly increased here and I've been stalked and approached by 4 aggressive coyotes at a time. A natural wildlife corridor, I've encountered deer, porcupines, beavers, coyotes, many squirrels and birds here. The photography possibilities are endless at any time of year.

W.J.G. [Hans] Oudshoorn: Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended No

Alex Lee: Amazing network of trails through some pretty dense foilage. Beautiful fall colours. I didnt see a single Larch tree though. Not sure the reason for the name? If its you first time, do bring a cellphone with google maps. Trials are narrow, hidden, with lots of bifurcations. I think this is the best nature walk in the city.

Kaley-lynn A. Hewitt-MacDougall: Long walk to the the stunning views but it is beautiful

Jason Hewett: Beautiful place for an Adventure throughout this Park and also connects into Mctaggart Sanctuary off a trail past the garden. Make sure if you're heading into the bush to bring Bug spray and Sunglasses also to watch your Step as there's lots of Roots all over trails with Steep inclines and amazing Views. A Hidden Gem for sure in Any Season

Kaley-lynn A. Hewitt-MacDougall: amazing place to take photos!

Patrina Moore: Beautiful! That's how I will sum up this place. Looking for somewhere to have just have some time with nature, walk, ride or run either option works. It's best when the sun is not as hot, like early morning or an evening time. Also if you are looking for somewhere to take some great pictures 📸. Check it out

Pavan Jacob: Fav trail in the neighborhood. Hot tip : Wear runners and carry bug spray !

journey girl: Really stunning place to explore and take photos.

Valerie O'Leary: This is a nice area to explore in the winter when the creek has frozen over and you can walk on it. Very scenic.

Gavin Cheng: Nice little trail. The trail is not very well defined though once you go deeper into the loop. You do need to be careful. From this loop, you can also access the Magrath and McTaggart walking trails.

Isidro: Great hike for all levels!

Janel Nelson: beautiful valley ! great for pictures

Ashish Patel: Awesome place for a quick hike with beautiful views during fall. If you are looking for a great place to spend some time and be around nature.

Lauren Jarvis: Always beautiful, any time of the year. So close to the hustle and bustle yet you feel completely tranquil and separate somehow. Very convenient location, and super picturesque. Lovely all around in nature.

Rob B: Great place for a nature walk

Riverside Nature Trail: what do users think?

kevin Hord: Good enough for some walks, beautiful area

Damon Mulligan: Wonderful trail right by the river. A good amount of shade as well.Recommended activities Walking, Running, Biking, Dog Walking …

Sara Ouellette: Beautiful gravel trail through the forest next to the river. Everything is melted and cleared, not even muddy. Dog friendly as long as you pick up after yourself. I would say moderately accessible, a walker or cane would be okay but a wheel chair may be a bit soft on the ground yet.Parking: Parking next to the fence probably 10 - 15 spots or so.Restrooms: 1 Portapotty.Dog-friendliness: Off leash is fine

Stanley Marcinkowski: Magic hour provides an excellent opportunity to experience a beautiful sky. The trail is a bit wide taking some photos with the camera raised higher makes some nice photos.Muskrats, Beavers, Porcupines, Ducks, Geese, Rabbits, Coyotes, Pelicans....I had a beautiful experience walking the trail on a sunny day shortly after a snowfall. It was my first time wearing sunglasses during winter. The snowflakes at the correct angle looking upon the snow appear as rainbow 🌈 sparkles upon the clean white background. If you haven't already seen this effect get some inexpensive sunglasses and be amazed. Unfortunately cameras and photos are currently not able to capture this sparkling effect.

Kerry K: and one at the exit.Trails are really well maintained as well. This is our new favourite walk.

Barry Michael: A great zen ride on a nice neat well maintained trail. Great way to spend a couple of hours on a bike.

Anne Chorneyko: to take a leisurely stroll or a fast paced walk - with or without dogs.

Jan Brass: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait

Android R.: Nice place to do a little bit of fishing, picnic or go out for a stroll Riverside. Bike trails nearby and even a port-o-potty on the spot.

rebmanworb: Sturgeon On! Great place to fish if you have patients. Also. Bring lots of weights because it’s rocky at the bottom and line tends to get stuck.

Fish On!! Alberta Adventures: Nice place but alot of people and garbage down along rivers edge by the keyhole

Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park: what do users think?

Wayne S: Very impressive park

Amanda Henderson: We love this park.

Chelsea Stone: This place is a great hang out spot to cook over a fire and hang out with friends.

Billy Harach: Very nice campground. Campground is on a peninsula which is very cool. Camp spots are well treed and private. Lake tends to become weedy thru the summer. Fishing is good but be cautious of hidden rock islands. This is a very nice campground!

Mona Sabry: Great park for BBQ and family events

M. Fox: Wonderful off leash dog park!! The tasty berries in the summer are great! The real bathrooms are better than an outhouse, but certainly could use improvements! The biggest con is the city shuts the tiny dog water fountain off 2 months too early and turns them on 2 months late, meaning the water fountain should only be off when it's minus 20 with lots of snow.Restrooms: It's good to have a real washroom not an outhouse, but the bathrooms need upgrades!!

Piyush Goyal: Awesome place for picnic
