Adam: It's been awhile since I've eaten here and I was a little disappointed in the new renovations. It's smaller and more modern but I miss the old look and atmosphere. Food was still pretty good although the portions are smaller and prices much higher. The kari lembu was very good but they seem to be afraid to add more spiciness when asked. Roti canai is perfection and is a must have when here.

Brad Mcpherson: Went for lunch with my mom. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Food was out fast. The 28, spicy beef vermicelli, is spicy to the point of being able to enjoy not burn your mouth spicy. Really well flavored. Spring rolls were delicious. Coffee was really good.Will be coming here on a regular basis and will be telling my friends about it too. Can't wait for my next meal here.

Alie Desrosiers: Finished a late Floor Hockey game on Monday June 12th and was craving Chinese Food. Trying to find a place that was open until 10pm was hard but Google helped me locate this place on Whyte Ave. Found parking out front and walked on in. Place is small, has just 10 seats. One table will fit three people whereas the rest are at the bar.Rang the bell and ordered a Dinner for 1A costing $16.75 consisting of Chicken Chop Suey, Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Ribs and Deep Fried Shrimp plus an order of Green Onion Cake. Owner asked that I pay him after which worked for me as I was staying to eat there.While I waited for my food, four drivers showed up to pick up orders. Saw lots of people looking inside and two young men joined me inside and some girls later on.My Green Onion Cake showed up super hot and fresh and super good. It was just right and ai could have eaten two more. Less then 7 minutes later my meal was delivered to me at my seat. It was AMAZING!!!From all the delivery pick ups I can see why this place is popular and I look forward to trying more on their menu.

Ryan Mior: Hit this spot randomly with my dad and son while checking out knifewear across the street. Wow was i surprised. Got the three item plate for 15$ and it came out piping hot and fed all three of us easily. Then the owner was so nice he came out with free spring rolls out of nowhere. Despite living in the south I'll check this spot out again for sure.

M P: I have experienced Filistix multiple times in multiple ways -- at their restaurant and through different menus/venues with their food truck. I once watched a documentary on Filipino food in NYC and they said it best when they said that Filipino food is about nostalgia and competes with your family's way of doing things. I think Filistix does a good job of staying true to the idea of a dish, elevating it and just making things damn tasty. I am thankful that I get my fix for when I want a Filipino breakfast, when I miss the street food I grew up with and when our food is celebrated in a new iteration. More power to you guys -- ya'll make my heart and tummy happy.

It’s a small restaurant but the atmosphere is great and the staff is very attentive. They offer catering and takeout so if you want great Filipino food for your office or next gathering, I would highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back!

In previous experiences, other places try too hard to fuse western comforts and Filipino cuisine, but lose the traditional tastes. However, Filistix has done a fantastic job staying true to Filipino flavours, which showcases how awesome Filipino culture is.I would recommend ordering the pork adobo and leche flan for dessert.... So good!Service was excellent! Our host was friendly, funny, on top of our orders.The atmosphere was great- clean, nice decor, good music.

Ar: Booked a ticket for their Mother's Day brunch and we were not disappointed! Brunch was great with garlic fried rice, longanisa, bangus, tosino, corned beef, Lechon, beef tapas, etc. The mango fili tea was delicious too! Service was top notch as everyone was super nice, accommodating, and were always around to refill our drinks. This was actually our first experience at filistix and we'll definitely be back for the normal menu. Thanks for a great Mother's Day!Parking: There is tons of parking close by down 106th st and 107st street. Expect to pay if you are around during peak times but we only paid about a $1 per hour.

Shane Allison: Awesome meal. We stopped by last night after seeing the restaurant a few months ago and thinking ‘we should eat there some day’. We are so glad we did. We ordered Beef Tibs and Veggie Combo. The meal comes with a fantastic flat bread made with teff flour. The flavors were wonderful, and amount of food was plentiful. The waitress was helpful and very pleasant. We will be back for sure. Don’t let the part of town and look of the building from the outside deter you, the meal is worth it.

Davis (CaptainD): My first Thai food experience was here at their previously smaller location in Chinatown over ten years ago. This location is much larger and beautifully decorated.It was great to see Boualuong still in business after the pandemic where many others have not reopen. They are a mom and pop shop who quietly work diligently over the years dishing out some amazing food. Tonight, our group of friends had the privilege to enjoy another great spicy Tom yum soup, original Pad thai without ketchup, delicious green curry and a mango salad. The food was amazing and the portions were generous.They were understaff with only one server but she and the owner were able to service our large group, plus two other large tables with a smile, grace and pride you would find in any South East Asian home.When you walk around chinatown, you know the struggle these restaurant owners are going through. By me choosing to eat at this terrific restaurant despite what is going on in this neighborhood, that should tell you how much I enjoy the experience of eating here.It is a gem for those who recognize this hole in the wall and it was busy as usual here at Boualuong.

Aside from the good service, their clean utensils, plates,glass and condiment bottles made our dining experience really good. We will be back for sure.

Lynden Dean: Great food just as I'd expect it to taste, only took them 25 minutes to feed my family of 7. I just wish they would give you more spring rolls and chicken balls for such a large order. Literally gave us 1 per person. If theyed do that it would be 5 star. The kids couldn't get any spring rolls or chicken balls cause there was only enough for me.

Dhyey Dandnayak: One of the best Thai restaurants in Edmonton. Their food is absolutely delicious. Portions are great and the service is awesome! I love the casual vibe of the restaurant. If I had to recommend one dish, it would be the drunken rice. If you like Thai food, you should definitely try Million Thai.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options. Definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in the city, if not THE best. Crispy tofu and Panang were perfect. Been dreaming of my meal ever since, lol. Next time, we will sit in to dine as it seems like a nice, clean cozy spot with friendly service.

The take out container barely closed!Parking: My large vehicle fit well with more spots available. You could park on side street too with no difficulties. French Vanilla: This is a great place. Awesome service and yummy food. I have been going here for 10+ years and its never been disappointing. My favorite dish is the Chicken Vermicelli bowl with extra spring rolls. Portion is good I usually leave with left overs.

Роман Букатюк: The owner is very friendly and helpful. The interior is cozy, there are beautiful paintings of Eritrea or Ethiopia in the hall. The food is authentic. It is specific and not for everyone. From the outside the building looks bad. It was raining that day and the walkway was all puddle, so my legs were all wet. We ordered kitfo to go, but were a little bit afraid to eat this dish with raw meat, so fried the meat. Was not bad.
