annika: Such an engaging store, you can truly see and feel the care that Kevin has for movies and for the experience of shopping there! He was extremely helpful in sourcing a rare DVD for me as a gift. Plus, it only cost $2 to ship to Calgary! If I need anything in the future, I’ll always check through The Lobby first.
Emmitt Donnan: Truly the last of its kind, a rent first video store with a buy option. Kevin and Brian are both fantastic. If you like movies new, old, cult, horror, foreign or really ANYTHING in between. The Lobby is the only place.

If you like movie talk and trivia, Kevin is your guy! He’s got a memory like Hannibal’s Mind Palace or Jonesy’s Memory Warehouse, and a head full of trivia that rivals IMDB. He will do everything he can to find you what you’re looking for. Atmosphere, movie memorabilia, great deals, great conversation , and the horror…the horror.

Pines on Apples: This place rocks! They have all kinds of 80s and 90s trinkets and a wall full of tapes. Clerk was also super friendly. Recomended for a nostalgia trip or any fan of retro media

Robert Downey: I thought was just a graphic T shirt place. But they have some preety cool video games, toy, odds and ends.

Alex (Allecyte): They've got, no doubt, the largest collection of old-school games in Edmonton that I can find. I saw the SNES Mario RPG and Kirby Superstar, the N64's Super Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros, and NES and Sega games by the cartload!Not to mention the largest collection of DVDs I've ever seen, covering an entire wall! One of the guys told me they have at least 6000 of them in stock. I didn't doubt them.They've also got any hookup for any system you can imagine, old and new. AV cables, power cords, link cables, even the old RF switches.Great people, always greet us with a smile. I totally recommend this place for all you old-school gamers out there!

On both occasions, we were offered very reasonable prices which all satisfied us, and anything we had to say in regards to the money was listened to. The helpful people and friendly atmosphere make this a worthwhile investment of your time. We will definitely be back in the future!

As well as they carry many hard to find items such as adapters/controllers/cables for older gaming consoles. This store is worth going through the construction in the area. Was very excited to find Mario 64 today but my prize purchase was this sticker of Penny herself.
