Sha Pedersen: My two kids went to their winter camp last winter and to this day they still talk about it! That in itself shows how much fun they had! They did so many crafts, skated outdoors and had amazing musicians, painters and magicians come, just to name a few activities. It was truly a very memorable experience for my kids.

Emma: Great great pre school. I daughter is going to summer camp there right now. They played lots of educational games, musical games, and do lots of crafts and exercises every day. The most surprising thing is they are teaching Chinese words, and my daughter came home showed me how to write some easy Chinese characters. Highly recommend!

Jia Quan: The teachers here are awesome, the kids talk about their day at Edmonton Montessori School when they come home and can't wait to go the next day. I have 2 kids going here. There were lots of arts and crafts and planned activities for the older kid. The younger one has a lot of fun too and was in the Montessori program. I can see that younger one is more focused now and can sit through entire story books without pictures. I can't wait to see what the upcoming school year will look like for them. They both made lots of friends here. I highly recommend this place to any parent.
Edmonton Andy Liu blackstone saunas: my daughter is studying here, what i like the school including below:easy parking,easy to drive to this school.it has two gates so the parents can stay warm when they pick up kids.kids are happy in the school. my kids talks about the school for 2 hours after coming back because there are so many new things. for example, they have magic show, coloring the T shirts, cooking cookie, etc.the teachers are friendly, patient, flexible. for example, my daughter missed the T shirt coloring, then Wendy pick up another time to make up the project only for 3 kids.the classroom is very big,the school location is very safe,the teachers are experienced.

She really loves all the kids and is very aware of the Montessori education philosophy. Even, when we decided to move due to an external reason, she was really supportive and helped us to find another real Montessori school near our town.

Erin Gladney: My son loves this preschool. He is always welcomed with a smile and assisted if feeling uneasy. The teachers are absolutely amazing, patient and kind. On a recent visit to see what my son was learning and doing, we witnessed a very calm classroom. The children are gently reminded to listen while others are talking without calling them out in front of their peers. This approach allowed them to be cued but without shame or others watching. My son loves to tell me about the lessons he was taught and the kids he was able to play with. He can do art, work on letters, math and learn new skills all in a few hours time. What a gift this school has been to my son. I highly recommend anyone considering this school for their child/children.

Damilola Odeyemi: This has been the best decision yet for my 3year old daughter. Within 3 months at the academy she is able to write her name correctly without assistance. She can say her numbers and alphabet in French and many more. Did I mention she knows about the planets and can also sing the Canadian anthem both in English and French, all within 3months at the academy. My daughter loves it here, the staff have a heart for children. They are very warm and always willing to help. Montessori Bilingual Academy I don’t know how you do it but I love it. This is a place to be for my preschooler and I don’t mind driving a long distance to bring her here. Thank you so much for all you do. I can confidently say you’ve got me till when it’s time for grade1.

hyden b: My daughter have been attending Montessori & Me for about 2 years now.Before she attended the school she did not know her ABC or numbers.She can now count and read !She is so independent now with the help of her teacher Ms.Asma.Ms. Judith also care so much about the children and their development.She is committed in helping the children succeed.We cant forget Ms.Michelle she is so sweet.I highly recommend this school because early learning is so important and this the perfect start to there step stone for the future.

pcheruvathur: Absolutely the best Montessori in town! Juliana and her team took great care of our son during the pandemic. We were very lucky to find this Montessori, after a horrible experience with another day care facility. Their Kindergarten team is excellent with Miss Kimmanthudawa and Miss Kaur and the kids are way ahead of the peers in the public system. Highly recommend the Montessori any day!
K Schwartz: Our two children have attended Montessori Play and Learn Centre Preschool and Kindergarten for the last three years. We have nothing but praise for the teachers and the director, Juliana. We have been very impressed by the programming and academic strengths our children have achieved from their time at MPLC. The teachers are truly exceptional, they provide children with lots of time to play and foster social relationships, along with a good balance of ‘work’ time. The teachers have always communicated easily with parents on our children’s strengths and areas that require more focus. The school is very multicultural and students are exposed to many cultures and traditions, which we as adults have learned from. We are very grateful both our children have been able to attend MPLC and only wish the school continued into grade school.
Tonja Dwyer: Both our girls went preschool and Kindergarten at MPLC. We love it. Pre COVID there were lots of opportunities for parents to meet and get to know each other. The teachers are patient, kind, adaptable, and treat each child as an individual. The centre itself is well run and organized in newly renovated custom space. If it went beyond Kinder, we'd stay!
Heather M: Our eldest daughter attended this centre from ages 3 to 6, and we loved it! All of the staff are caring, attentive, patient and kind. The centre helps to nurture the children's creativity, confidence, compassion for eachother and are especially good at helping the children excel academically. Faiza Barbar: Hi I am Faiza Barbar, this daycare is more than 40 years old.We have kinder, preschool, toddlers and osc. This daycare used to have two locations downtown and at Princeton elementary school. We are a school daycare. The child will go to grade one knowing how to read and write. Eman is my daughter and was subbing for Alta as a child and was hired as a director when she was 18 years old and I was assisting her. She has Early Childhood Diploma, Montessori teacher and is still learning as she is taking children psychology at the university of Alberta. I’m just shocked by the review from a person or a parent as he called himself Jesse and we never ever had someone with this name before. We are an honest, respectful, educated, and experienced daycare. The human being wouldn’t insult another human by the way he is or the health problem he suffers from. Every child that has crossed our lives has left marks in our hearts forever. At Alta Montessori we embrace all races, and cultures. We do not accept any form of racism, bullying, and hatred. I was 17 years old when I became Canadian so I am Canadian more than I am Arab. We welcome every nationality and we put them in our lives and hearts. This is what Alta Montessori Daycare is about. I feel sorry for the person who stated such a hateful review but when they insult people like that it means they have hatred for everyone.
Nahla Hajjar: My son attended the daycare for over 2 years and he changed, developed, improved and learned so much in that time. I am so blessed, thankful and grateful to all the staff that guided and assisted my son on the day by day basis. They helped him with his speech and language, with listening to and following instructions, with making friends and learning how to share and treat others with kindness, just to name a few things. They are all extremely hard working, committed and dedicated to the children and strive to develop the best environment and atmosphere for the children. Would absolutely recommend if you need a space for your child to thrive!

To Jesse Pearson your review doesn't/ shouldn't carry much weight considering that you use insults to mask your shortcomings as a parent for someone who has never had a child at Alta montessori out of school care and to write a review such as that just shows your character one merely needs to look at your profile to see what kind of person you are... As for Alta Montessori I have two children that are in their care the age of 2 and 5 and I feel very comfortable and know that my children are safe and in well-cared-for environment Miss Iman Miss Barbara are well experienced in the care of children they are caring and courteous and I have never had reason to believe otherwise. my children are happy. I ask them about their day at school everyday and have I never had reason for concern not only do they teach them in the Montessori way, the teacher about friendships and respect for one another, they have field trips, end of the year pageant, hot lunch for children who may not have enough to eat. I highly recommend this school and out of school care facility to anyone who is looking for it. their hours are very flexible for those of us who work the facility is very clean and their support staff very helpful. V N: Being new to the neighborhood about 2 years ago, I had no experience with the Daycares around, but was sure that I wanted a Montessori for my child to attend.Since my son has been attending Alta Montessori Daycare and OSC, with the supervision of great teachers and also a great management, Ms. Eman and Mrs. Barbar, he has learnt so much and is still learning a lot. We love their hands on approach in their method of teaching.I highly recommend this Montessori to anyone looking for a great place for their child/ren to develop with the great supervision of some of the greatest people who lead by example like Ms. Eman and Mrs. Barbar.

Krister Temme: Our daughter has attended Montessori in Rutherford since she was two years old. She adjusted to going to daycare over a week, and afterwards absolutely loved it. The school is small and she knows the names of all of the children and teachers. The environment is amazing. There aren't many splits for age groups and the younger ones learn from the older ones and the older ones learn to be leaders. She has learned to count to 20, and knows all of her letters and their sounds in half a year. She loves her teachers and looks forward to going every day.

Shauna Thomas: My daughters both attended here, and it started them off tremendously for elementary school, so when it came time to en-roll my youngest in playschool it was our first pick! They faced his speech challenges and learning delays with care and encouragement. He came leaps and bounds in one year, and now is off to kindergarten writing all his letters, numbers and able to do grade one addition. Fabulous staff! I can't say enough great things about this team of early educators! They literally change lives.
Lauren Langlois: I attended this Montessori nearly 30 years ago. All 4 of my siblings attended over a span of 20 years. The business is still owned and operated by the same family. I now have the pleasure of bringing my own son. The structure of their day is a great introduction to the structure of grade school. Also, did you know 30 toddlers could sit quietly eating? This is their daily standard. They potty trained us. They taught us to read and write. Bottom line, they will show up for you and your family.

Today was a sad day knowing that our youngest is now moving on to Grade 1 and we will no longer be a part of this program that has helped both of our children grow and become the well rounded educated students they are demonstrating today. Having teachers outside of this program compliment the education my oldest son had received when he was starting kindergarten in the school system was the greatest feeling as a parent. Angela and all the staff have cared for and always demonstrated the most respectful environment for our children as well as the parents. This school will always have a place in our family’s heart. I highly recommend them!!
