Our volunteers are valuable to us and we are always looking for individuals of all talents and interests to help make the Army Cadet program a success. All our volunteers go through an application process to ensure and offer a safe environment for the cadets. They also help support the corps, alongside the Commanding officer and the corps staff, and are also closely involved with the ongoing activities of the corps such as, organizing fundraising activities, coordinating canteen refreshments on parade nights, organizing food for weekend activities, assist with publicizing the Army Cadet Program, soliciting sponsorships, and much more. It will also offer you an extremely rewarding experience in many ways. As a volunteer, you get to see first-hand the benefits this program can offer our Youth today and watch them become leaders of tomorrow as they progress through the program. To become a volunteer, you must be: •18 or older •Willing to work with youth aged 12-18 •A member in good standing in your community
    4worldlovers: The Army Cadet League of Canada is a registered Society and was officially formed in 1971 to Department of National defense (DND) in support of Army Cadets. The National League office is located in Ottawa and there is a League Branch for each of the provinces and the territories. The Alberta Branch became a registered society in October 15. 1971.

    The ACLC Alberta Branch has 16 executives which oversees 3 zones (Northwest, Northeast and Southern) which support 40 Cadet Corps Support Committees across the province, and the over 500 screened volunteers who assist each corps.

    Thomas Larsen: Can't say enough good things about these fine people that serve the military and veteran community. I have been both a soldier and a veteran and found their programs, Staff, and events to be consistently of high quality. From programs for my kids, right into their late teen years, to events like Canada Day Celebrations, to taking care of my family members during deployments, they are essential ❤️. Now that I am out of the service as a veteran, there are still many discounts and even free tickets to local events that I and my family have been included in. Don't think just because you have left the service that you can no longer use the MFRC because there are plenty of programs, events, tickets, resources for Veterans and their families.
