I have slightly unusual proportions, but the staff are extremely knowledgeable about each brand's differences as well as provide recommendations that are helpful. Easily one of the best stores in Edmonton, catering to menswear.
William Chandler: I stopped this location a few days ago. I am in a wheelchair so I can't go inside. A very nice young man came outside to see if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for, this man was amazing. He brought out selections, then brought out more. Once I had what I wanted, I changed my mind. He went back inside and brought out more selections. I can't believe how patient this man was with me. Not once was I felt pressured to get it done. What a great shopping experience. Thank you so much for the time you shared with me.

eric budd: I have been coming to Jaisel for several years now. The sales rep was excellent; he helped me complete my quest for a new colourful Matinique shirt the other day. Jaisel is a very consistent shop with forward style, great customer service and a nice selection of vibrant men's clothing of which fit properly. Jaisel has come through multiple times that I've been in a last minute jam to find something specific and new for an event. Good pricing for quality clothing. Nice experiences so I will keep coming back.

My partner and I came in looking for a unique tuxedo for our upcoming wedding. As we both work nights we were truthfully tired and grumpy coming in for our appointment, but our consultant Mark was fantastic! He completely turned the mood around, gave great suggestions, and even provided us with snacks and coffee.We weren't even expecting to walk out with a tux that day, just get an idea of our options and think about it, but Mark found my partner a tux we loved off the rack! Which, with my partner being 6'7" was quite the surprise. My partner said this is the first time they have felt truly good in formal wear and we are so excited to see how their look all comes together on the big day. I would highly recommend any grooms, or groomsmen come to Eddie's when shopping for their wedding look.
Erin Rayner: Eddies is edgier than they appear. Walking into the store is a feast for the eyes with the creative display of men's fashions displayed amongst items of history and nostalgia. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and have time to chat about possible gifts for the fashion forward men in my life. They're full of unique, quality suggestions regardless of the season or reason.

V H: This store carries a lot of Italian-made clothing and we were able to find items that most stores do not carry. Sam was great and took the time to show us what types of designer items they carry. Great customer service. Will definitely shop there again, next time we're in Edmonton.

Even since moving to Vancouver this is my still my favourite place for menswear, online or in person you’ll be in good hands.

I was a fashion disaster, but after I arrived at The Helm we completely transformed my style, and I’ve never looked back. They understand my needs, my budget, and the style I demand. They have so many quality items arriving constantly, and can often order specific items to meet your needs.Alana and Zach have personally attended to me, but their entire team is top quality. James T'Seleie: If you are a guy who is bigger this is the place. Callum is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He'll let you know when things work, what alterations are needed to make them work. Which is hard to find at other places if stuff doesn't typically fit quite right and you have odd measurements due to a little extra around the midsection or chest. They also do in house alterations. Could not suggest it more highly. It's a great store, saved me from getting a bunch of bespoke stuff. I had given up on finding anything that fit me.

Chris has been able to artfully put together a professional wardrobe for me, bring casual outfit concepts I have to life, and found me a perfect new suit recently. Importantly, he also honestly educates the client about the products offered so we can make the best purchasing decisions. Chris’s hospitality is also second to none. I recently brought my father, who was visiting from out of town looking to purchase a suit, to Harry Rosen to shop with Chris. He was amazed by the shopping experience with Chris, said he received the highest level of hospitable, knowledgeable, and welcoming service, and enjoyed the personalized and focused advice. I would highly recommend shopping with Chris for all needs from suits to casual attire, and look forward to regularly shopping with him in the future.

Aikidobear129: I was rushed attempting to find a place that would alter my suit pants Christmas Eve. Tried too many places to list but my last hope was Val Bergs- I walked in expecting the answer I was tired of hearing but sure enough a Salesman named Phillip answered my prayer- he told me he'd do his best and his best was better than I could have hoped. It was 10 star performance but as I only have 5 to award Val Bergs gets all 5!
Jesse Buswell: The staff at Val Berg's were very attentive and helpful. Ultimately I found what I needed at another store but would not hesitate to return to Val Berg's in the future. They have a great selection of men's wear and their Meyer pants are comfortable and look great.
