phil ibbotson: Nice shady park

Darryl Molloy: A lovely park in downtown Edmonton named for Richard Mather who was a municipal politician as well as a public school trustee.I think it's a hidden gem as it's often empty which is such a shame. A beautiful place to sit, relax and take in the beauty of downtown.Recommended for sure!Playground: Great children's playgroundDog-friendliness: Dogs must be on leash as there is no designated running area.Picnic area: Great place for a picnic!

shawn harrington: Nice little spot to relax

Franzwa Santiago: More fun

Tyson .C: Goood place for meetings

Lincoln Ho (YEGventures): This is the location of the original cenotaph which is now in front of City Hall. A ceremonial cenotaph sits in its place. It's a small micro park with a view of a mural dedicated to 5 historic women I'm Edmonton. It's also a location known as the 'urban waterfall' where the sound of traffic bouncing up from Belamy Hill creates an ambient sound like a waterfall.

Vinh Nguyen: A good place for relax, workout and taking fresh air

Rhodora Morca: It's a very refreshing view before work,I love going for a walk, and I love nature, the only thing I don't like to see... homeless people sleeping by the bushes or bench after being drunk, it's a common problem in the city...but I love how they maintain the place, the flowers...

Rob Haynes: It's a nice little park with some benches and a small gazebo. Sometimes there are classes for yoga in the grassy areas. The staircase is popular for people who like to use the stairs for exercise. There is a multi use path that is behind the gazebo that gets you access to the river valley trails. There is also access to the north side of the high level bridge from this park. Oh and I almost forgot, it has a great view of the river valley looking out over the LRT bridge and the high level.

Julio Garcia: Can be a bit overcrowded at times but a nice park.

Fyodor Mihailovich Dostoyevski: Hi,The park is so cool... however, because of those who smoke cannabis, it seems annoying and unbearable.Cannabis is immediately banned from the society. Noone has any right at all to disturb the others.

Enrique Zenteno: The view of the historical bridge is amazing.

Eibu: One of the beautiful spots in Oliver that is a pocket of joy to be in.Beautiful view, beautiful people trying to lift the community up.It can be black and white in terms of what you see but offers reality of the light and dark of our city.Enjoy this place truthfully and do your part to uplift others on their journey to wellness Dog-friendliness: Be mindful of others and know your dog well enough to prevent mishapsPicnic area: Benches and tons of green space to enjoy from!

MrEthanLettuce: So full of life!

Natasha Singh: Really nice place to take the family my kids loved it

Reza Sattarzadeh Nowbari: This has been erected to commemorate the Edmontonians who have lost their lives during the years of wars in various parts of the world, the last of which is Afghanistan.

Patrick S Callan: Erected in 1936 to honor the 3000 soldiers from Edmonton who died in WW1. Over the years, WW2, the Korean War, and the Afghanistan war have been added to recognize and remember those fallen men and women who fought valiantly for freedom.
