Mom Care Docs Maternity Care By Family Doctors: what do users think?

Chantal Magracia: I love MomCare Docs so much! All of the doctors are women and it’s just such a positive, happy, and calm environment. All of the doctors are always so pleasant, always smiling, and always so calm in their demeanour and speech. The receptionists are all so welcoming and they’re highly capable and skilled as they always do their best to cater to the patient’s needs and convenience. Their entire team pays attention to the smallest of details and I’m highly satisfied with the service I receive each and every time. Everyone, especially the doctors are always extremely easy to talk to, personable, and friendly, while the receptionists are always so accommodating and helpful! They’re simply the best! NUMBER ONE in their field and industry!

Lois Hole Hospital for Women: what do users think?

Robin Kalia: I am greatly thankful to nurses and doctors who helped my wife with her first child birth. The care was really good . they are very knowledgeable and will help you at every step. Free health care has benefits, and again, i am thankful to the staff who helped us and this entire health care system who are helping people. God bless them all

Kendra B.: but there was a nurse who helped my baby with his jaundice lights and gave him a bath. Calling him “ my little love” and treating him so sweetly. If anyone who works on that floor knows who I’m talking about please pass on she is so appreciated. I will never forget her and how she helped my husband and I stay calm through it all and how she treated my son. Thank you to everyone who works so hard in the labour & delivery ward and the postpartum ward.-Kendra Bianco

Jordan Lee: We had our breech delivery at the lois hole. They made my wife very comfortable. We dealt with a few doctors as we arrived close to shift change. Dr. Pattel was excellent when we arrived, Answered all our questions and listened to all our concers. All the staff monitored my wife very closely and helped with all we needed. Dr. Daniel did the delivery the following shift and was very excellent. They were also very prepared for every possible outcome.Recovery process was also very good, could not ask for any more. Excellent service all around.

Cherie Malone: They made my 6 day stay so enjoyable considering being in the hospital. I'm sorry I don't remember all the names but Praminder, Kara, Cassie

Barbara Wasyk: Delivered both my babies here, most recent was September 2021. The care my baby and I received were exceptional, especially during the pandemic. I did have a cold when I was admitted so I was considered “isolation” but I never felt that impacted the care I received. I’m so appreciative of the staff with helping me have a safe delivery, despite how quick and crazy it all went. I’m so grateful for all the nurses and drs we have at this hospital!

Nikki H: I’ve gone here several times and can’t say enough great things about the nursing staff and especially Dr. Jiwa. She is truly a saint! She has a great bedside manner and will instantly put you at ease. All the nurses I’ve encountered here are very comforting and sweet as well. They make hard visits bearable. I’ve never had an issue with wait times either. Each time I’ve been here I am in and out pretty quickly. I am super greatful for this facility and the amazing staff.

Mom Care Docs: what do users think?

Raena Fernandes: and their colleagues at the Royal Alex for making my first pregnancy care and labor experience nothing but positive. I hope to have them as my doctors for any future pregnancies. You do amazing work!

신유화: I was anxious before visiting the clinic as this was my first pregnancy and I didn't know what to expect. My pregnancy journey was pleasant with not only the medical support I received from the clinicians but also their kindness and thoughtfulness.I would like to specifically thank the doctor that I saw most of my visits, Dr. Krinke.

Alexandra Scivoletto: My experience with the Mom Care Team was incredible and I would highly recommend them! I was referred to them by my family doctor, and felt nervous to utilize a ‘team’ as you aren’t guaranteed the same doctor twice. However, the doctors that I met with were very compassionate, took the time to listen and never made me feel rushed, and always provided top notch care. Not only are the doctors wonderful, but the nurses in the clinic and at the hospital. I am looking forward to using them in subsequent pregnancies! Thank you Mom Care Team for the stellar care!

Yana Grechukha: A great impression from the clinic and doctors, everyone is very friendly and pays a lot of attention to me, answers all my questions. They gave all the necessary referrals to the laboratory and ultrasound. I am glad that I chose this particular clinic.

Sherry Su: You may see different doc depending on your availability, but everyone knows your condition and can give the same care and advice. The most comfort thing I experienced was, the after hour Doc! It was a life saver for me. It my first pregnancy, so lots of thing could freaking out alone or listen to unprofessional advice who bring your more anxiety, however, because they have on call doc, it sure help me calm down and give me the quick assessment and direction. It helped so much in mental wise!! If you are like me, freak out easily. Anyway, it is a wonderful place for people, maybe that's why it's hard to get in!! Always busy, but worth for the wait!

Joyce Klomps: Mom Docs is fantastic choice for pre-natal care! I went to Mom Docs for all 4 of my pregnancies. Each pregnancy was different and they responded to those differences each time. All the doctors were so caring, knowledgeable and empathetic. Appointments were usually right on time and never rushed. You see a variety of doctors throughout your pregnancy but they are very intentional about being up to date on all your information. All of the doctors are exceptional but I especially loved Dr. Krinke!

Stephanie: This is my second pregnancy through Mom Care Docs. The care is outstanding and the administrative office is amazing. The appointments are almost always on time. The doctors are all fantastic. The office staff always has everything you need booked. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is pregnant and wanting to deliver at the Royal Alex Hospital.

lexie bouilly: Mom Care is absolutely amazing. I seen them for both of pregnancies and had nothing but pleasant experiences with all staff. They were very transparent about everything and were always available to answer my questions. Dr.Sue actually delivered both of my babies and made the whole process as comfortable and stress free as possible. I highly recommend Mom Care to anyone needing prenatal care.

They saved my new born life, and still follow him to this day.The psych ward 15 years ago was so kind, compassionate, and respectful 15 years ago when they truly helped a good friend of mine. And here today I'm in hospital overnight with surgery and they are so kind, gentle, and listen to my needs on unit 22.This hospital is all around fricken amazing. Everyone, everywhere should choose this hospital for anything!!!Thank you more than I can ever say Royal Alexandra Hospital. ❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️

Misericordia Community Hospital: what do users think?

Curtis Sagmeister: I have used this hospital so many times over the years. Glad to see some improvements coming to emergency department as they are very much needed

glenn thimer: I am here at the Misericirdia hospital for a bilateral hip transplant. It took a long time to get here, but I’m sitting in my bed receiving recovering now. So far my experience has been perfection. The surgery and pre op staff were all great. The attitudes were serious, but knowledgeable and informative. A couple staff were funny, some more professional, but a good combination of both. The recovery room, the lady was so nice, and we joked and talked until I got a room. After being brought upstairs. All my nurses have just been amazing and accommodating. Day staff and night staff. Day staff especially. The orderlies, the physiotherapists, cleaners , lab techs who took my blood, radiologists. All fantastic. I was worried going into the hospital for a few days. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about the service and friendliness of everyone. The staff have a very difficult job accommodating so many different patients. Be nice be nice be nice, and thankful. A special shout out to my nurse Alison who worked her but off to help me when ever I needed it. Thank you to all the staff for being the best…. My only concern was the food lol. If you don’t have restrictions… bring your own food, or have family members bring your own food.

Navneet Sidhu Hundal: My experience at labour and delivery and postpartum was nothing but great. Labour and delivery, my RN Jessica was amazing, caring and very very supportive. And the Postpartum experience was just too good to be true. Didnt had a very smooth recovery but I dont have a single complaint. All nurses were so caring and always there for me. Shout out to Brandy, Morgan and Amanda, Wendy and there are few faces whom's name i dont remember but they were as sweet as others.

B Dunford: Had my second surgery at this hospital. The overnight with my first surgery was a complete gong show. This second time was much better as far as cleanliness and care goes. The RN, Marian, was absolutely wonderful, and I felt I was in such good hands. Not waving any flags over the food, but most of the staff were really nice and ready to take care of you/help you as required.

Azrael Patrick: Caring healthcare professionals. Only thing I have against this hospital is its waiting time. However I understand that its probably cause its a community hospital.

Laurie Thomas: A busy hospital with one elevator shut down for whatever reason. Not even posted on the elevator. For some people climbing 7 flights of stairs is not an option 😖

Chastity Stamp: **ATTENTION FIRST NATIONS MOTHERS**🤱💫❤️ 🧡💛💚💙 💜 🖤 💫🤰November 2022My baby was born at The Grey Nuns Hospital. As a First Nations woman, I heard so many horror stories of First Nations Woman being treated very poorly at other hospitals in Edmonton, Alberta.I was treated with love & compassion from the doctor's & nurses. The staff was super friendly towards me they helped me in any way they could. I really enjoyed the nurses there.I never experienced anything bad the whole time I was there, and I am so grateful for that.I had a wonderful birth with beautiful memories of the stay while I was there.I would like to thank the staff in the maternity level for taking such good care of my child and I.I recommend this hospital! They treat all walks of life with the love and compassion any human being deserves.May creator bless these beautiful women who helped deliver my baby.I hope your stay here will be just as good as mine. 💖

Elwin Dziwenka: Great health care, very short wait and admittance time, couldn't ask for better staff, nurse's and doctors they all worked beyond the call of duty. Why only four stars food was terrible when I was discharged found out it was not their fault, Alberta Health services to blame the food is catered out and supplied to the hospitals.

Morgan Eros: Some of the most over-worked, under-appreciated yet highly dedicated professionals you're likely to find in the province.

Mel M.: Jennifer from MRI was super nice, sweet and accommodating, I went for my MRI appointment this morning and for some reason it was canceled by mistake, but Jennifer the technician was so gracious, she rebooked me on the spot and did my MRI fifteen minutes later, great technician and great service, all the best to her and staff.

William Whitefield III: Like many other people said in their reviews: I would not recommend this bed and breakfast. The bedding was stiffThe food menu was limitedThe “view” was sub par and mostly of a parking lot.Other patrons were quite loud.Oh…wait…this is a hospital and not a beach resort? Grow up people. On a serious note the nurses here are amazing and really care for the children. The resident doctors do their absolute best to ensure the accurate diagnosis is given to babies.Yes it’s busy, yes there are wait times, but at the end of the day you can come here and get exceptional help at no cost.Highly recommend

Юлия Король: Today we encountered the Canadian ambulance for the first time. The whole process took 4 hours. Everyone is friendly. The doctor who treated us was very kind, polite and patient. The nurses are friendly. Our family is very grateful to the staff at this hospital.

T McFadyen: The staff was very responsive, kind and thorough to care and treat my child. Truly appreciated the care and service here.

Abdullah Alakkad: The doctors and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Only reason for a 4 star rating is that I had to wait 4 hours after snapping my Achilles tendon to be seen by anyone. So I was in agonizing pain for a few hours before I was given any Advil / Tylenol or any medical treatment.

wayffles_: sick children go here. it's a great place.

Donna Rubletz: My Heart Warroir wa admitted in with low oxygen on May 18th 2023 for couple days .. and WHAT A GREAT TEAM he had on C4 . before that my middle Son was admitted back in December of 2019 and the ward he was in was obviously amazing as well .

Robert Deuis: Fantastic service, had to wait several hours but it's AN ERit is to be expectedvery professional - attended to my son's broken armThank you Strollery

Red Panda: Been in and out of the stollery unit all my life, the nurses are very kind and understanding and the doctors are good, but wait times are long, I’ve sat in a room waiting for a doctor for a half an hour

Millwoods Maternity Care Clinic: what do users think?

angel samriti: I was treated by dr. Cardinal and it’s the best decision anyone will ever take! She treated me like her own daughter , answered my millions of question. She is extremely knowledgable and kind. I do missed her in my delivery time as she was on vacation and i had horrible expierence by dr. Swinton From millwoods. I was satisfied with dr. England, freda and tessa as well.

Shae: Hailey is also just an absolute peach! All of the nurses there are just amazing, I just so happen to talked to Hailey the most through the phone :

Karen De Mesa: I have been here for both of my pregnancies. Both times I have been seen by Dr Andrew Swinton and he was always professional and attentive to my concerns. I also had the pleasure to be seen by other doctors at this clinic and they are all wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately, my 2nd pregnancy is now a high risk one and I have to switch to a high risk OB. Dr Swinton was very empathetic towards my situation during this hard time. I wish him the best and will miss seeing him for the rest of my pregnancy. I had the best care with him and this clinic. Thank you

Pallavi Gautam: SIMPLY AWESOME! My overall experience is way above this rating. I must say what an excellent team to be with! Special mentions to Dr. England, Dr. Penrod, Dr. Lo and Hailey.DR. ENGLAND is a great professional, knowledgeable, caring and extremely patient when it came to answering my 1000 questions. 😊 My journey was best because of her. She is simply awesome! DR. PENROD – She delivered my baby and made the whole process so very easy. She took care of me, provided all the insights with utmost transparency, very knowledgeable and yes, she would crack jokes in between to make you feel light. She is a Rockstar! DR. LO – She initiated my delivery process and visited me post-delivery to check my & baby’s well-being. Extremely focused towards her work. Her initial decisions and efforts regarding my delivery process were so helpful afterwards. HAILEY– She is super nice, helpful and a great professional. She is very respectful towards everyone and patient with the queries during calls/in person. Based upon the great experience - I would highly recommend this clinic.

Vicky Sutherland: was great -informative, professional, and efficient.Dr. Lo delivered our baby. She walked us through every step of the process. Great bedside manner.Dr. Cardinal got to check in on us before discharge. She provided helpful breastfeeding tips!Dr. Penrod saw us at 2 week postpartum appointment. She provided a lot of information on baby, my health, birth control options, etc. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to chat with. All in all, it is a great clinic with fantastic staff! I will be returning if I get a chance!

A.D. Rehbein: I have seen both Dr Eliyahu and Dr Swinton, both of whom have been amazing. I read other reviews about this office being discriminatory against women with extra weight- in my case this is THE FURTHEST from the truth. They are a low risk OB clinic and your BMI is part of the equation to figure out your risk level. I am blessed to be plus size and deemed low risk. I have never once been made to feel bad about my size and rather, have been made to feel like I'm doing a great job as I navigate through my first pregnancy. The front desk ladies are also amazing both in person and over the phone. I feel beyond blessed to know my baby and I are in good hands and am proud to say I'll be delivering at the Grey Nuns with a doctor from this clinic. Dr Eliyahu is seriously one of the most down to earth and kind doctors... and Dr Swinton was fantastic to see as well. Thank you Millwoods Maternity Care Clinic for keeping my anxiety at bay and for always being there for my questions and concerns.

Liz Nugent: was able to deliver my baby. I couldn’t imagine getting better care anywhere else.

Fatema Zohra: . She treated me like my own elder sister. Whenever, whatever concern I had she dealt with that right away. Often times I said something in one appointment and forgot it after couple of appointments but she never forgot. She remembers each and every details about her patients. Whenever she suggest or talked about any issue she referred her own pregnancies not with her other patients which made me feel I am talking to one of my friends not with any doctor. She is busy but yet keeps herself super relax and calm whenever she talked with me. I live here with my husband, didn't have any other family members or relatives so every time I used to go for my appointments I used to feel like I am meeting one of my family members. I wish just the best for Dr. Penrod. She is an amazing human being. I also had appointments with other doctors sometimes when Dr. Penrod was busy in delivery . I had appointments with Dr. Leeor Eliyaho, Dr. cynthia Kwong, Dr. Lana, Dr. Cardinal all of them were beyond amazing. I am soo thankful to each of them to make my pregnancy easy and help me to bring my child safely. Also the front desk staffs are very friendly .

Deandra Harvey: highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN that will really care about making the experience a positive one.

parangta rajput: Dr Frada Lo is an angel. I am very thankful that she is my Physician.

Maegan Adams: The day hospital outpatient program is exceptional and the doctors/therapists actually listen to you and don’t just prescribe you a pill and you’re on your way. There’s free transport provided by AHS and lunch is given to you based on dietary restrictions. The only negative is that the program is 21 days and you can’t stay longer. I humbly recommend this program. Take care of your mental health, everyone. It’s important Take care.

Ralphie Mendita (Mr.Awesome): Georgia deserves a raise and has great taste in music.Asako is also rad as well. She also deserves a raise.Would reccomend.

Rodrick Auger: 2016-2022It's been a most informative inspirational and kindness fell,on the regular and staff the sceneries around the hospital stepping outside one self to be a better self with all of the community in the NCR. Program thanks

Tina Didzena: Great Food! Great service. I highly recommend this place if you ever want to get away for a weekend and enjoy a couple days of luxury and great tasting foods.

Nathan Wan: the doctors and nurses are nice

Morrow Hestoff: Pilgrim man sent me here, he made me go insane and develop severe mental problems. With the help of expert staff here, I began to feel like my normal self again. Hopefully I never go through that again and hope that no one has to either

Lucina Birth Centre: what do users think?

Corina Ganton: Had a beautiful experience bringing our daughter into the world in early 2022. The space was serene, private and comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for.

Emiel Vanderwel: Great place and great midwifes

bill ca: Took really good care of my wife. She loved your services and the waffles were so good!

Brooklyn H: I had my second baby with Kathleen and her and the team were incredible! To feel empowered and confident in our birth decisions and through our time of care was really important to me. She educated me and I left feeling confident but sad I was done my care! Thank-you so much Kathleen and the team!

Jeanette Sesay: Carly was my midwife for both of my children and I was so thankful to have her! The whole experience was amazing and I was able to have both babies at home. I was very confident in her abilities and loved how she let me lead and listen to my body during delivery. I had never considered a home birth before Carly had encouraged me to think about it. I have had some bad experiences in the hospital and therefore not super comfortable or relaxed in that atmosphere. Home births and water births aren't just for crunchy hippies haha! I highly recommend the Lucina midwives and can't imagine delivering my babies any other way 💕

Katherine Bourgon: Fantastic place, fantastic midwives. Clear policies. I cant imagine better.

Heidi Ho: . I was able to decide literally every aspect of my birthing process and I wouldn't have had that option at all without my midwives and the Lucina birthing centre.

Janette Zandbeek: Beautiful facility with reasonable pricing!

Breanne Hopkins: I had Marita and Layla as my midwives. They took special care to educate me through the entire process. Every step of the way. They were all about making informed decisions, giving you information and letting you make the decision best for you. They were careful to follow up and attentive to special needs. I felt comfortable and completely confident with their care. They both developed a good rapport with me and were fantastic with my family. As plans needed to change they held space for my emotions and validated them. I got to keep my autonomy through the whole process because of them. Fantastic advocates. Their support has made the whole transition from pregnancy to post partum as easy as it can be. Curve balls were thrown at me and they allowed me to talk through things at my own pace, never rushed and carefully considered. Respectful of my time, space, situation, views... I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would trust them with my life. Thank you lucina centre. AS WELL reception is always sparkling with positivity and love. Remembering my name each time I came and insuring special care and comfort for each patient. Thanks so so so much!

O'Neil: A excellent birth center with quality mid wives. If you are expecting or planning to. Great place to connect for birth needs.

Raymond Johnson: Dr Dan Levy just moved in and established well. Parking sucks though

Jana: Such a great place to give birth naturally to your baby. The staff is so friendly and warm and knowledgeable and they really make you feel confident in having your baby with them
