Star Lotus Games: what do users think?

Brandon Bergen (Brandonismyfoe): Best store in the city for MTG. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they have a great stock of cards if you want to buy singles or sealed products.

vegetibilis: Magic commander is popping on Monday like 4-10

Reigh-Leigh Foster DeBaie: Lovely staff. Store is clean. It's a Magic store so has loads of singles and sealed product. Not for board games, really.

Sharon Meredith: Very helpful staff.

Libby Grant: Very friendly woke staff with mask policy and if you care about you're collectables it really adds the white glove of futurist but minimalistic sharp active areas and a wide display selection. I didn't feel comfortable taking a picture because of art type things that some may not want to share for free.

Jason Fahy: No signage on the building as of June 24, but they're in there!

Connor Dea: The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and can give great advice. They're Excellent at pulling lists, It helps to know what you're looking for but even if you aren't too sure, their knowledge and experience will help you get there. No sign helps keep the crazies away while the events are fun experiences. If you're an MTG enthusiast then this is a store for you! 👾

Rick L'Hirondelle: Nice little card shop lots to choose from. Just ask and they'll find it if it's there.

Stephen Law: Friendly place. Helpful staff.

Chantel Verbeek: Went in as an absolute newbie to purchase a gift and not only did they have a huge and amazing selection; the staff were super friendly, knowledge and helpful! I can't wait to go again!

Kris Luong: Such Great store! Got my cards here, and they are pretty good price! Definitely planning to come back here again!

Wizard's Comics & Collectibles: what do users think?

C.S. Elliott: Poor staff. Place was robbed. They did their best to do with what they had.

Jon Mcrae: Sad that it's closing

Scott Young: Great store, huge selection, best customer service. Thanks everyone!

Stefane Bellec: I was informed that all that new stock needs to be re-priced, and I understand given the sheer volume of stock. I keep making fun finds in their bins.

Oso Baloo: Great store. Great staff. Great prices. Great selection of comics and MTG.

William Betts: Knowledgable Staff, good parking, excellent stock, and a store with lots of seating. Also there’s a friendly dog most of the time!

Barry Steinwand: Nice local comic book store. The staff really try to help out, and it's easy to set up a pull file. They offer discounts to regular customers. The only negative would be the occasional problem with shipping distributors, but those are rare.

Mar Edwards: Awesome helpful people, got what i needed friendly staff and a amazing collection to choose from.

Authentic Dungeons: what do users think?

Landon Kymson: Great space, great prices. The first floor is a tavern-themed games store with communal tables and there are thematic rooms to book upstairs. My regular online DnD group met up here when we were all in town for an rented cavern-themed room with storyteller. There were a wide array snacks and beverages for purchase. Our storyteller, Michael, was incredible! We did a 6 hour, one-shot session that was tailored to cater to our request for a horror themed adventure. I don’t think we got the so-called “good ending” but rather a darker, mysterious, dare I say cinematic ending that was probably more satisfying than any storybook ending. Great time for great value! Also, there room of character and NPC minis leaves me in awe.

Adam Conway: The theme rooms are great. We booked into the Castle room and it was a perfect setting to introduce new gamers to the hobby. The staff are great, for sure, but the fellow nerds are also amazing. Every time we've been in we've had some amazingly friendly conversations about gaming with strangers.Basically, it's a clubhouse. Come hang out.

Jeric: Really good vibes here, huge selection of minis and terrain for people playing here. Theme rooms are terrific. Staff made me feel right at home.

Rachel Crawford: This is a great space absolutely packed with tabletop and RPG games and miniatures. The themed rooms are put together with incredible detail and I had a fantastic time playing there with my friends. The owners are very welcoming and created a really cool space for people to enjoy the hobby.

Brandon Fish: Very cool place there are not of places like it in Edmonton. They have a great stock of Warhammer, Magic, and RPG items and the staff are super welcoming. They run a ton of events all week, I went to the miniature painting night and they have everything you need for mini painting, one of the best paint selections I've seen for an open paint night. Will definitely be back.

Darren Anderson: Great staff. There's a couple themed gaming rooms available for your tabletop/rpg games. Also some tables on the main floor. Good selection of games to purchase. Overall a really nice little store with a ton to offer serious gamers.

Quentin Howard: Stopped in for one of their public events and i enjoyed the experience completely. The owners were super friendly and took me on a tour of the whole place. You can see all the work and effort the put in to the store.Store has a really cool vibe with it as well. I will definitely be back.

Eric Michener: This is the kind of place you can tell the owners have put their heart and soul into. Great selection of hobby stuff ranging from magic to DnD. The owners love every item they stock and can tell you everything you need to know. They have days centered around the most popular style of games, and the private rooms are marvelous to behold. Come out and say hi if you ever get a chance. You won't be sorry

Jeremy Hoefsloot: This is the best place to do all your hobby shopping. The store owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their themed rooms to play D&D in are also super cool.

Allan Chief Body: Been coming to the shop since 2021, love the atmosphere and very friendly staff, they give a tour of the shop to almost everyone who is new to the shop. Keep up the amazing environment for people.

justin Morrell: Had my first experience with table top rpgs here a few weeks ago and have been coming to the drop ins every week now, everyone here has been incredibly helpful teaching me vampire, and D&D, couldnt ask for anything more, its been a wonderful first month.

Kathryn Davidson: Always welcoming and helpful. The people at AD are a great part of the Gaming community in Edmonton!

Max Saito: Helpful staff, had a lot of question and they knew how to help. Good place o go with friends. Will come again

Justin Mitanis: Little bit hidden, but definitely worth finding. I heard about it through a Facebook group and they put a lot of work into making this place unique. They have 3 different private rooms you can rent out for an evening of tabletop gaming, a big library of books and miniatures and they host different events throughout the week. Highly recommend giving it a visit.

Warp 1: what do users think?

Kari Berdahl: - call for specifics.

Bill Winterton: A great spot for new comics, graphic novels, rpgs, cards, toys, manga and just about anything else you might be looking for.

Brandon Bergen (Brandonismyfoe): Manga, Anime Figures, MTG, etc. I'm a weeb, I love this store.

Michael Peterson: Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Ethan Sala: Comic selection is great, prices are mid

Justin Campbell: The staff aren’t rude, if someone leaves a review saying they are then I’m guessing the customer is very rude and demanding and not courteous at all. Staff are very knowledgeable about their products. It’s the original warp, place was banging in the 90’s and always packed. And it’s still great.

Brandy Day: Really great place and the staff is super helpful

Dennis Freund: . They have tables for playing. My only complaints would be parking is very limited, but that’s typical in the area. And I personally think they could be a bit better on pricing but its pretty comparable to anywhere else

Frankenoise: Great store with staff that will do what it takes to make sure they have what you want. Every time I come here I could easily drop $500. But sadly, I need to eat too.

Chris Venner: One of my favorite places to shop... Amazing selection decent prices and friendly staff. I've been shopping here longer than they have been at this location and I'll always keep on doing so.

Gamer's Den: what do users think?

Josh Henry: Staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable! They host lots of great events and are very community minded.

Catherine Jevic: This is hands down the best game shop in town. Why, you may ask?Gamers Den is family run, welcoming, and has everything you need, and if they don't, they will get it for you asap.We go here for everything from board games to MTG.

Cheyenne Fransen: They have a decent selection, not a tonne but decent. The lady and guy there were helpful and pretty funny. It's to far for me to go to regularly, but it was good for what I needed.

Matthew Bird: Gamer's Den has very quickly become my favorite hobby shop in Edmonton. The staff are phenomenal, incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. They've created a very welcoming environment that has helped me get some queer friends of mine into Warhammer that otherwise might have been hesitate to enter the space. Pre-ordering in store is a breeze and has helped me get my hands on some highly sought after boxes and models. And of course their pricing is the best I've seen around. While I haven't had the chance to play an in-person game of 40k yet, their gaming space is quite spacious and offers a wide variety of pre-built and painted terrain. I can definitely see this being an easy and fun place to spend an afternoon playing games with friends. I look forward to coming back here everytime.

Reale Redlance: A small shop that carries a decent selection of all your favorite collectables and table top need. The crowd here is friendly and you really can't go wrong if you need a wargaming or card table for a day!

H B (CJ): This is exactly what a friendly local game store is supposed to be. No pressure, friendly and helpful with great space to play.

AJ: Great place to get discounted hobby items and gaming tables for you and friends.

Samantha Zubick: We bought Gloomhaven here for 100 bucks cheaper than online and an additional 10%. Really nice clean store, hidden gem.

Brian R (B.R.): Lots of paint and brushes, mostly warhammer and d&d stuff , staff friendly, helpful but not in your face. One thing if you haven't been here before parking is in the rear .

Jesse Lambert: Great little tabletop gaming store. Friendly staff who are willing to help and will order in whatever you like. Best prices on Warhammer I’ve found in the city. Awesome.

Steve: Fantastically friendly staff. Spectacular selection. Lots of parking. Great ambiance. I wish I lived close enough to go here regularly

infamouscat432: I'd say this place is great. Snacks are cheap and they are chill. I personally like it alot.

Halofail: Nice place, nice people, and nice products. 😁👍

Doug Smith: Down to earth family environment. Lots of products to chose from and professional staff there for you if you have any questions. Game nights are a good time also stop over at the gamers den.

Cooper Eades: Amazing atmosphere.

The Clumsy Dragon Tabletop Guild: what do users think?

Mandy M: First time visitor. The staff were all very kind and beyond helpful! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

Peter D: Friendly, and welcoming. This is my preferred local game shop for all of my RPG game resources, but they also have an amazing creator space, and hosting spaces if you are looking to engage on site. They also have a phenomenal Discord, with a large community. Not surprising, as the owners have fostered a wonderful culture here, and it shows with the quality of people that keep coming back.

Baron Namqui: This place is great! They have an incredible selection of DnD gear, and the atmosphere is perfect for hosting games. The staff here are truly fantastic, always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. It's the go-to place for all things DnD! 🐉🎲

Mika Krischke: Excellent service and some spectacular variety in content they sell. The focus on playtime and being in store leads to not being pushy for sales and keeps prices reasonable. They also have some in house made items that will definitely be making an appearance on my gaming table! I will be going back!

Cory Leeson: A fun spot with a great community of players. Excellent game rooms and wonderful staff including Kevin...

Curtis Houde: Great place, great people and great atmosphere

Kevin Daniel: Great staff, great events.

Jordan Smith: Really fun and welcoming place to shop! I find they have a really large selection of everything for the size of store. The owners are fun to talk to with ideas for anything from dnd to gifts to get. And the best part… THEY HAVE A PUG IN THE STORE!!!!!

Megan Stensrud: Amazing people, amazing energy. Definitely a great place to spend an evening playing DnD. The owners are super helpful and friendly. Once you start playing it doesn’t feel as much like a store and more like a club. The 2$ pizza pops is a huge bonus

Brad Bittner: Couldn't be happier we tried this place out. Girlfriend and I went looking for minis and some simple stuff for our regular DnD game and found this is much more than a little corner nerd retail shop. Huge bay turned into a gaming area for members, a private game room with some cool tech going on, members have free use of the creation area to make terrain and paint minis, it's an actual community to join in with and it's rad. Give these guys your business, had a great time at our little visit. You need a group or to just nerd out with some great folks, this is the place to do it

breanna patton: My overall experience at the shop was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly, kind and very helpful

Morgan Blais: Nice little shop, great lady behind the counter was super helpful while I was looking at starting a new 40k army.

M B: Great knowledgable staff and an amazing friendly environment. Looking forward to my next visit.

Jayden Patterson: Me and my girlfriend come here for hours at a time, it's a great place to not only play games and meet people, but to just relax and work on painting minis or other fabrication stuff.

Jason: The experience I had here was absolutely wonderful. The staff we dealt with was absolutely amazing he was very into all assets of tabletop and very knowledgeable. You could tell by his enthusiasm about tabletop that he was also very into DND and all things geeky. It was an incredible experience and I can not recommend going here enough!

Julie McKay: Additionally we had a great time meeting Kevin, make sure to leave him a tip so he can get spoiled !

Mastermind Toys: what do users think?

Abisaac Saraga: If you sign up for their loyalty program, you can add your kids on to your profile and they get a free gift for their birthdays. Currently the choices have changed and no longer gift Lego mini figs or beanie babies. Now have a selection of bouncing balls, deck of cards and hacky sack.

Moein Habibi: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting me in finding the toys I wanted for my nephew.I had initially purchased another item from a nearby store, but when I noticed that they had the same item, I decided to buy everything from them instead.I returned the item from the other place, and to my delight, they even gift-wrapped everything for me!

Henry Tolbert: Cool toys. My kid loves it here, better than toys r us in my opinion. Not taking anything away from them. I spend lots of maney at both haha

Nicole Naseth: The staff was very polite and friendly and although we had hot there 7 minutes to closing they didn't rush us. Instead, they offered to help. The place was clean and organized, Their toys are more directed at learning and skills, which us great! Although some are a bit pricey, they do have probably better quality.

SKA Edmonton: Helpful and welcoming staff.
