Lunchbox Diner: what do users think?

Rosa S: The Lunchbox Diner is located in the industrial area just off 142 Street at 115 Ave.I went to the Lunchbox Diner for breakfast with a couple of friends and all 3 of us were extremely impressed with the food. We went around 10 am and because the diner is in an industrial area, we were the only customers. I assume that it would be filled to capacity at lunch time as the food is very good and not at all skimpy and the service was excellent. We were full and my friend ended up taking home half of her breakfast croissant. We definitely plan to return and might go for lunch this time.

Dave Merritt: We two had breakfast on a Tues. At 10:30. We were the only customers! The diner is in a commercial area and caters to the lunch trade. One of us had the standard sausage, eggs

John Stevens: Stopped with my wife to grab meal for the road. Service and friendliness were spot-on, the fries were great, and my wife enjoyed her sandwich.Worth a visit!

Ken Ferris: The food is good, well prepared, for a good price. The service is good, the place is clean, the decor is welcoming. Simple things, done well, are too often overlooked and taken for granted. If that statement resonates for you, go have breakfast or lunch there some day, especially if your in the area. McDonald's and the Westmount food court will still be there for another day.

Carlos Montoya: Great portions, great food, clean, very quickly delivered on the plate. And the hospitality was heart warming, cozy and delightful. Will visit soon and often thank you for warming up day.i was very happy with their coffee. 🙈The bacon 🥓 was king sized 🤴

Christy Schmidt: Excellent sandwich! Great service!

King: Friendly service, good food, classic dinner environment. Highly recommended.

Terry McHale: Five stars for the food! The reviews were true, the menu reads like other diners but is a step above. The fried chicken was moist and tender with a crunchy batter, the fries crispy and golden with a dusting of salt, the fish and chips, the same. The people friendly. The place is old and dated but you soon don't notice after the food arrives. So glad we tried it.

J. W.: 2023-02-16Homemade cooking from Lunchbox Diner! Highly recommend if you like east European cooking. Homemade apple pie is to die for!

James Carlisle: Good food and good service. Definitely your hole-in-the-wall type place with decor that brings you back to simpler days. Had the special which was a Ukrainian platter with borscht to start. Borscht was excellent, very tasty! The plate was perogies, sausage, and cabbage rolls, all of which were delicious. Will be back for sure!

Dang Good Restaurant: what do users think?

Yolly Ann Monteon: We went here because of good reviews. We wanted to try it out ourselves because we love vietnamese food. Glad we did because we never regreted it. Food was absolutely delicious! Aside from the good service, their clean utensils, plates, glass and condiment bottles made our dining experience really good. We will be back for sure.

R Lowther: , great selection of vegan dishes as well as meat. Server was great, he so nicely explained how to make the Vietnamese iced coffee, and made sure we knew the after dinner candies were vegan. One warning: dishes labeled spicy are indeed SPICY! Next time I will choose a mild one. And there will be a next time!

Jessica K: The cutest little restaurant with amazing service. Food was delicious, with many vegan options.Vegetarian options: The whole back side of the menu is vegan dishes, very similar to the front side of the menu, but vegan version.Dietary restrictions: Many vegan options and also many gluten free options available

Matthew Schafer: The name says it all! Vegan, vegetarian, AND meat options to satisfy the entire group. The food is amazing only topped by the efficient ever smiling service. I have been told the spring rolls are amazing!Vegetarian options: Owner understands and cares about different dietary needs.Parking: Sometimes busy parking lot

Joel Trinh: . Great pho broth. The mussels for the coconut pho were a bit briny but the broth was really unique and tasty. Only issue I would say is the portions are a bit small. If you're a big eater, you would probably need two bowls or extra noodles to fill you up. The service was great though and they were great with our kids! Would definitely recommend a try!

Paul Fike: Diverted into this place on a whim while waiting for the light at the 118th Avenue traffic circle and felt hungry. What a find! Ordered the prawn salad rolls and the Six Colour Bowl. The bowl was an absolute work of art. So flavourful! To rebuke the previous reviewer who complained about the portion size: There was more than enough meat and fixings in the bowl. I felt full when I left the restaurant and I'm a 300 pound guy. What did you expect for $21? This isn't Texas! Also, your review is flat-out racist. Maybe you should move there.

R X: Fish aesthetic. Little kids with iPad near counter. Table smells like Viet import. How much more authentic can you get? Top 3 Edmonton bun bo hue and pho restaurants

Karrilyn Carpenter: Best pho in edmonton! Always fresh and delicious. Service is always friendly!Update- have spent over 6 years coming here. We are treated like family. It's such a treat to come to this family run restaurant. Staff are always friendly, happy, and helpful. Food has maintained its 😋 deliciousness!!! I recommend this place to all my friends and family!!

Shane W: Wow, wow, wow! I just had the most amazing meal at Dang Good Restaurant! They serve authentic Vietnamese cuisine that is fresh, flavorful and satisfying. The service was super quick and friendly, and the pho was out of this world! I loved the rich broth, the tender noodles and the aromatic herbs. It was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Vietnamese food or wants to try something new and exciting. Dang Good Restaurant is truly dang good!

Sabor Restaurant: what do users think?

Vanessa Wedick: Service was so attentive, whether it be filling water or asking if we wanted anything else. although slow at some points for serving a drink or main courses. Highly recommend the seafood paella, and the tagliatelle and the beef tenderloin! Note, the calamari has a dairy sauce and is spicy! Street Parking is a bit sparse but there’s pay parking across the street.

Reina Granados: The food is just amazing. They change the menu but I have been trying different dishes and I have come up with new favourites.Dietary restrictions: On our table we had three different dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate all.

Cassidy Capper: and salsas! My partner and I got tacos for take out and the ladies we interacted with were warm and welcoming. I would definitely go again and recommend it to my friends!

M J: Fish tacos are really good!!

billy moses: I can't find any other way to say it.Hands down the Best Mexican restaurant in the city. No contest. The menu doesn't have a single item that isn't absolutely spectacular.Independent and locally owned and operated, the staff are super sweet and so kind, the food they craft is not only delicious beyond measure, it's made with care and with love. The folks at Calle very clearly want you to have the best, and most authentic cuisine possible and they never ever disappoint.

Bianco: what do users think?

Zuzanna Cendrowska: Overall, I rate the restaurant very good. However, the flavor of the pasta was not Italian enough and too American. The sauces are too sweet. The burrata is also too sweet. Delicious calamari. Carpaccio also very tasty. Huge portions. We were unable to eat two pasta dishes in 3 people. Nice service. The lady waitress tried very hard to help as we asked for only a fan because they were too cold for us.

meenal salia: Interesting Italian place in Edmonton. Great tasting pasta...pizza and dessert were average. Tables were small and atmosphere and decor was bit dated.Vegetarian options: Decent choices available for vegetarian

Paully M-S: Loved the romantic atmosphere.Indulge in the Gelato with espresso pour soooo goood. The staff/chef was even accommodating to split our pasta orders so we could share.Would definitely come back.

Ardy RD: It's a nice restaurant. The waitress was attendant and the food was good too. The prices are a bit high. I highly recommend the gnocchi.I would go here again.

Mage Of Doom: I have been to Bianco 5 times total over 3 years, service is fantastic, the food is always great, for how busy it is there has never been a wait for drinks, appetizers, or mains.Would recommend anything with seafood. The meatball starter is also good, larger portions. They have their own collection of drinks, aperol spritz is worth a try.If you are looking for a good pasta spot check it out.

Coffee Carl: Celebrating my wife’s birthday with our daughter last night was amazing! We travelled to Edmonton for an over night birthday get away and found Bianco last minute, made a reservation, and boom! What an amazing experience. The service was friendly and consistent always making sure we had what we needed and not going without. The atmosphere was lively, well lit, energy was great, and we loved the decor/style.The kitchen was throwing down great food to everyone from where we were sitting everything looked outstanding. We had two appies, the calamari and burata were amazing! Great flavour and portion. For entrees we had the squid ink linguine and chicken/wild mushroom pasta dishes and oh my gawd haha sooo good!! It’s been a while since we gave Italian cuisine a chance and this place has put it back on the map for us definitely. Please treat yourself and family or loved ones to a beautiful meal and night out, I assure you Bianco will not disappoint.

Cilantro Multi Cuisine Restaurant: what do users think?

Jonathan Pasenko: I would recommend stopping in as the food had good portions, and the staff was very friendly. Definelty left an impression that he cared. Both our meals were tasty and we did not have any indigestion later.

Leo: Great place for private party. Quality food and friendly customer service. Strongly recommend.

Rincy Antony: Thank you so much for making our Christmas lunch memorable. service was great, delicious food and wonderful ambience!

Ajitha Koushik: We had a great experience with Cilantro last week. The hospitality and food were amazing. Would definitely recommend for parties and dining experience.

Morin: Breakfast was good !! Pancakes were my favourite, so yummy. Coffee was good too. Service was great and prices were even better.

Kevin Schieve: Vinod and his staff were the best! Great food and great atmosphere. Silent space that is unknown to most. Strongly recommend to anyone

Harsh Desai: Great place and staff. They are very friendly. The food tastes great.

Ryan Cool: light flavour. Everything tasted very fresh and clean; I would wish for more flavour, but the dish certainly was not bland. Great for someone wanting a fresh Mediterranean salad I would say.The atmosphere was quiet and tranquil. It seems like a great place to get away with a group, where you don't have to talk over anyone; almost like your own private chef is cooking for you. The service was minimalistic. During the meal we were checked on a few times which was great. There seemed to be some sort of gunk on one of the seats up near the head area, and was not cleaned very well; but this was just an oversight. Overall I would say the restaurant and washrooms were exceptionally clean. It also would have been great to get attendance a couple times but the floor was often left unmanaged.I would definitely return, be sure to give them a try. They also have a Keto Friendly Pizza, made with Cauliflower crust, this is not currently on the menu, but the ingredients for everything is available if you ask.

tinoy thomas: Tasty fusion food. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Good for small parties.

Highlevel Diner: what do users think?

Flairs Warss: Very friendly servers, the Spice Bird Chicken burger was delicious the portion size was very justifiable for the price the two chicken breasts made the dinner filling, with the house fries to go along with made the meal perfect. Loved the fish n chips as well.Parking: The parking across the diner is free and reserved only for the diner customers.

P Howard: This Diner has that perfect cute and classic feel but without any of the grime that usually comes along with most Diners. It's a beautiful little spot in the Garneau area that really helps complement the neighboorhood. For a Diner, I'd have to say this place likely has the most interesting menu in the city... And everything on it is beyond delicious! Though I can imagine picky and non adventurous eaters finding this menu too unique and not traditional enough. But that is the best thing about the food here, it's so yummy and interesting for a Diner! They even have their own artisan made house ketchup!Lastly, but most importantly, the service and staff are super sincerely friendly, efficient, and attentive. This place has become my favorite Diner in the city... it is hard for me to believe there can be a better Diner around here.I HIGHLY recommend checking this establishment out! 👍👍Parking: There is a free parking lot across the avenue from the Diner, but you HAVE to sign in your license plate # in a book within the entrance of the Diner.

Susan Wood: Soup was good. Needed a little salt and pepper but delicious, fresh and filling.

Justin Campbell: I came late around 1-130pm, only had turkey cranberry left, I would not have picked it if I had other options but it ended up being really good, turkey wasn’t dry, I ordered the tomato vegetable soup, could tell it was made fresh that morning. Awesome little lunch place tucked in an industrial area. Decent prices too. Update: I’ve gone back 3 times, beef soup and potato soup is awesome. I have yet to be disappointed coming here. Soup and sandwich for less than $15 is a deal IMO

Bonnie Martineau: Best Potato and bacon soup I ever tasted. Love this little place and the staff is very friendly.

Nolan Peter: Don’t let this unassuming store front hidden in a commercial bussiness park fool you, what’s for lunch has amazing food! Since new ownership has taken over, the quality and variety of their offerings have increased and improved. My latest order was the pulled pork sandwich, and it definitely went beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to come back. Great job new owners!

GTAUTOSALON Hui: The best home made Lunch shop in Edmonton.😋

Trevor Brent: First time visiting. Great little place for lunch. Hearty meals, decent price.

Dale Zemlak: Good food, good prices

Canadian Wheel and Performance: Amazing homemade food and friendly staff!

W Strang: It is probably the best sandwich you will ever have. Highly recommended

Justin Robinson: Good homemade soups and sandwiches.Go early cause when they sell out. That's it.

Richard Soucy: Great simple food with great ingredients, soups and sandwiches. The chicken salad is my fave they use real chicken breast not canned chicken and you can tell the difference. Soups change daily so its always a new one. The people that work there are just always smiling polite and happy to have you, you can tell its a family run business. I have been going here for years and i have yet had an issue with anything they sold. The workspace they use is always super clean so you will never have to worry about quality here!!

Uncle Brian: Fast and convenient. The employees are very nice.

Charli Smith: Decent food, the sandwiches are usually good but the tuna was extremely dry and the Italian wedding soup wasnt at all what hoped.Wish there was a place to sit and eat.

Bret: I go here fairly often. The food is good and the staff are friendly.

The Marc: what do users think?

Heather Laird: and the salmon rillette. Both amazing and want to eat everyday lol! The mains we had the steak frites and Arctic char, both delicious but Arctic char stole the show! We will be back many times!Edit: Second time around!Always love the Marc! It was our second time here. We had a reservation but it was very busy and we weren’t able to be seated for half an hour, the wonderful hostess brought us some complimentary cocktails which was greatly appreciated. Charlotte our server was fantastic and personable as well as knowledgeable. The beef tartare changes apparently so it was different than our previous experience, it was great…just not as great as the original with a leek mousse which blew my mind! We had the fish and the boeuf bourguignon pasta…the fish stole the show again! Oh and the pot au chocolat is to die for!Parking: Free parking on the street.

Janice Kosak: Recommended dishes Beignets with Caramel, Duck Confit, Beef Short Rib Bourguignon

biasha mwamambo: What a hidden gem of a French restaurant! I stumbled upon this place and decided to try their duck breast dish based on a recommendation. I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The presentation was elegant, and the taste was divine. The tender duck paired with a delightful sauce left my taste buds dancing with joy. The service was attentive and the overall dining experience was fantastic!

Tom Angotti: I had the pleasure of dining with two of my best friends ever- we were inseparable in junior high and high school. The team at The Marc were aware of our reunion and supported us impeccably. If you ever need a special place to celebrate awesome times, do yourself a favour and make reservations at The Marc.

A Sabbagh: In the heart of Edmonton, this place offers a stylish and sophisticated setting, with a great ambiance, which is perfect for any kind of occasion; romantic, business or casual. The menu features a variety of dishes that showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients. The presentation is simple and elegant, and the flavors are bold and memorable. You must try the Scallops, Grilled Octopus, entrecôte and everything else in the menu 😋The atmosphere is sophisticated and inviting, with a mix of modern and traditional elements. The service is attentive, super friendly and knowledgeable, with a focus on making each guest feel welcome and well taken care of." 💪

Ian C: Enjoyed the banksy/Warhol exhibit!

Kim: Nice facility but lacking in terms of volume, it's rather small and modest.Depends on the exhibits they have on display when you go and if your interest in them. It is currently Pop Art like Andy Warhol and Banksy and such. This was great and the galleries are clean and very cleanly laid out. It isn't huge in terms of volume as it seems most of it is on loan from a single private collector. The other galleries, especially the third floor video galleries are VERY avant garde and takes a particular mindset to interpret, which I do not possess, humbly speaking. The bottom floor exhibition was closed when I went so there wasn't too much to see.

jf paquette: Beautiful pieces of work to be seen, and the music gallery was interesting. 3 floors of beautiful art work. They were hosting the indigenous artists market, at the same time as my visit which in itself was interesting to see, all the traditional art and items they make.Definitely would go back, especially if the market is there again.

Kendelle Marr: Love the AGA! Recently saw the Pop Art exhibition with Warhol, Lichtenstein, Banksy, etc. Amazing! Plus, the architecture is wonderful.

Taruni Tyagi: The experience was different.... contemporary art is beautiful here...gallery is not as big as the art gallery of Ontario and has less of the traditional oil paintings etc.but is definitely a breath of fresh air with more current work on display... building architecture is intriguingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

DOSC: what do users think?

Tina Trinks: I’ve dined here several times and always get the same dinner items, dry aged ribeye, carrots and fingerling potatoes. I was slightly disappointed with our meal last night as the carrots and potatoes were undercooked. The carrots were still pretty hard and I had trouble cutting them into smaller pieces with a knife. The potatoes which are normally delicious with fluffy edges and a good amount of sauce, were also undercooked with just a small drizzle. The steak was very good as usual. I’m hoping that this was just a one off.

Maria Jens: Foods good, a bit on the expensive side not gonna lie. Cocktails are amazing here.I used to come here after work 5pm or later for coffee to chat with my friend but they no longer have their coffee bar open in the evenings unfortunately.

Lisa: This place came highly recommended by locals so of course I had to check it out. Nice atmosphere with a nice bar. Lots of fun drink options to suit your mood. Everything on the menu looked amazing but I opted for the dry aged ribeye which was spectacular. Cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Will need to come back the next time I'm in Edmonton.

Greg Johnston: !I had a tenderloin and Monica had a rib steak - both were absolutely delicious! The manager recommended a wonderful Amarone

Jillian Bairstow: This was our first time at Dosc. It had a really great retro classic atmosphere. The drinks were amazing although the food was great but not outstanding. Could’ve had less fat on the ribeye and the burger was a little undercooked. The service was great and June was a lovely server! We will definitely be back but we will be trying a few other menu options.

Sydney Rayne: we love coming here for brunch! short rib brisket benny is my favourite.
