Andrea K: I contacted Emerald Contracting to help replace an exisiting gate. Colin explained what the work would entail and sent me a quote later that day. The work was completed in the same week, and although the gate was finished the day after I was quoted, Colin was upfront as to the reason for the delay. The quality of the work done on the gate is amazing: the gate is now functional, is very sturdy, and has a great finished look to it. Also, the cost was very reasonable. I am extremely happy with my experience with Emerald Contracting.

Colleen Macdonald: We had previously worked with Colin to re-do our front landing and stairs, had been happy with that work, so contacted him when our front yard needed an upgrade. He took our basic design ideas and reworked it into a fantastic front yard. He was great at coming up with design ideas, mixing plants, trees, with an eye for layout, design and colour. He was on top of the project, came on time when he said he would come, kept us informed as to the next steps in the plan, and worked with us on decision making for placement of rocks, shrubs etc. - but he already had well thought out ideas and plans. He and his crew are hardworking and meticulous. He was able to help not just with the aesthetics of the yard, but also regraded the lot to ensure proper water drainage. I would highly recommend using Colin and his team for your landscaping projects.

Trevor Olsen: The team was super easy to work with and did an amazing job on our back yard patio. They were great it giving recommendations for different options but in the end allowed us to do a unique and creative design that turned out looking awesome with input from us as well as their experience.
Ben Foreman: I had issues with a previous landscaper which delayed getting my project started until late into 2019. Tyler was sometimes hard to reach but always answered questions and came up with great design ideas when I had none. We ended up failing our final grade at the end of October for a few high points as it was a rush to get everything done. Fast forward one pandemic and a longer winter and we were back on track in May to have updates applied and Sod and plants go in. All work was completed shortly into June and we are very happy with the way everything turned out. My recommendation for anyone that has a late season start is to hold off inspection until the following season and not rush to beat the snow. I recommend good roots for anybody that wants a fair price and a great landscape.

He got back to us with a plan and a step by step schedule of what he thought would need to be done with a reasonable price of what each step might cost. Ranges of pricing were included dependent upon conditions as they were found.Greg and his foreman, Andrew worked together and consulted with us before the job started as did their site foreman at each step of the process. They and particularly their site foreman were willing to answer questions, explain why they were proceeding in a certain way and willing to make helpful suggestions as to a better way to tackle a particular problem. Any adjunct ideas and additions were discussed and accommodated if possible. However, for these there were additional costs
