Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club: what do users think?

Tish Prouse: As a karate-ka from a different style, this was a great experience. This club is focused, intense, and strict. Yet it is also fun, welcoming, and intent on the development of its students. I received much-needed insight into my most basic techniques that I can apply as I continue to study. I will be paying a visit to Sensei Irek again in the future.

David Snow: I have 2 kids who train here and I myself have just begun training, its a great atmosphere with great instructors! I would recomend to anyone who wants to get in shape and learn the art of kyokushin karate. OSU!

Xi Hu: This a must-join Karate class. Sensei are friendly and they really know Karate. Besides exercise, kids and even adults can strengthen minds and encourage Self-Discipline. Also, Kyokushin Karate is the one which can really do self-defence. Highly recommend!!!!!

Mike Pawlik: . All of the other students are also great people, and the atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging for newcomers. If you're looking for a serious place to train for yourself or kids, and get in shape, why don't you try out the club at least for the trial class? You'll probably love it ☺️

Cressida Raffin: environment to learn Karate in and our son loves going each time. We have had negative experiences in the past so are very grateful for this dojo!

Murray Bass: Enrolled my son, and 9 months later, I enrolled myself. Excellent for young children and adults.Instructors are great, classes are numerous, and the Zen Planner app make it really easy to work around your schedule.Very affordable as well.

Bryce Cheney: The training is tough and you will get physically and mentally challenged, but if you stick with it there is no doubt in my mind you'll become the strongest possible version of yourself.

Joanne Raina: I enrolled my son since August 2022, we thought we will just try it, after a couple months my son told me he would like to continue, usually i force him to do some sports, this is the first time i never have to force him, he likes karate and the staffs are amazing and strict with karate in a good way. Sensei Irek is great with communication and answered all my questions. Its a positive environment, your kids will learn self-discipline and hard work, good exercise for kids to stay active and strong.

Carolyn Yake: Very organized, great app to manage classes. Very flexible but great content and skills delivered.

Lukasz G: Son has only been going here for a few weeks and loves it. Great atmosphere. Very welcoming. This place is great at teaching discipline and respect. It’s a wonderful teaching place

Rad S: Great place, great sensei. Two of my kids can't wait for their classes.

J Wilson: We have really like the karate classes for our son. He’s a very active and impatient 6 year old but the way the classes are run and the discipline they have to follow has really helped him to focus on the training.

F L: I have just enrolled my 11 yr old son in karate classes at Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club. It has been a very positive experience and the instructors are fantastic! Today I watched the adult class, and as a former karate student back in the 80's in Brazil, I must say that Mr. Irek Slobodzian is a world class Sensei in Canada. I wish I knew the club before...so don't miss this priceless opportunity!

hafez elfar: Looking fpr Great place to push your self and have a trainer to show you the right way. This place is for you. I always leave soaked with sweat after class- really great club to be a part of. Very supportive Instuctors as well. Highly recommend

GOPINATH THANIKACHALAM: My Friends strongly recommended Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club for my Daughter, After the trail Class the Registration process was very Easy , My Daughter started the class on the month of April, she is Very Much interested to go to the Classes every time, she gained lots of Positive Experience towards the Class, Sensei Irek and his team deals the kids in a Professional way, The Class Schedules are pretty flexible and the Membership Cost is Reasonable Compared to Other Karate Clubs in Edmonton, I strongly recommend Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club.

Joseph Bolstad: My son's been going here for about a year now and he loves it.

R J: My wife and I enrolled our son a few months back, and it has been an extremely positive experience. Sensai Irek and his team of instructors keep the kids engaged and do not tolerate any slacking off, I love that about this school, teaching discipline and respect.

Karina: Our daughter loves the classes at Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club. They are physically and mentally demanding and follow a routine. Through the training, she learns self-discipline and persistence. The teachers are passionate and caring, always ready to support a student during the class. The dojo is clean and organized. We highly recommend this organization if you are looking for exceptional karate classes.
