Wes Kaminski: . The garage was supported by a unique device Abalon makes to do this sort of duty, then the hydraulic jacks were brought in to lift the garage on all sides to level it.Prior to the demolition of the floor itself, the garage was well braced from the inside to ensure it would maintain its integrity as it was lifted.The people who came in to do the hard work were impressive, to a person. At one point, the owner of Abalon came in to assist for two days!The work was completed without any significant issues and Abalon handled my hovering whilst I asked about various aspects of the work as it progressed.The people involved deserve a mention because they worked very hard under alot of heat
G S: My mom had water in her basement last major sustained rain and assumed it was a cracked foundation. Called around for a repair and Abalon was the only company that returned her call, and despite the long wait time remembered to show up and did so on time. Brent H showed up to assess the situation and determined that it was a corroded weeping tile drain that was the issue, and I had no idea such a thing even existed. Brent was honest in his appraisal, extremely knowledgable, and recommended against digging for a crack when that was unlikely to be the source of the water. He took the time to explain his findings to my elderly mom in a way she would understand and that was appreciated. His integrity may have cost Abalon a bigger job in the short term, however it should be recognized in a positive way. If any work is required in the future my mom will be certain to hire Abalon.

Norm Cowley: Great work today by the Top-Up crew of Everado and Narcos, who filled in several areas that have sunk around our garage since we had our foundation repaired last fall. They packed down clay to fill the holes and then added a layer of black dirt on top for my flowers and grass.

Wes Merta: This past week Abalon put in a sidewalk and concrete patio for us. I was so impressed with their work. The manager, Randy Bilyk talked to me about my conceptual plan for the project, and he came up with exactly what I wanted. I didn't get to the work site until halfway through the day and when I did, the layout was precisely the way I had envisioned it. The crew of 3 that were on site were great ambassadors for Abalon. The foreman stopped to give me an update and one of the younger workers was incredibly friendly and took time to discuss some aspects of their work. I was totally impressed. I stopped in yesterday after they finished their work and everything looked magnificent. Not only had they filled in along the sidewalk and pad with black dirt and grass seed but they did the entire length of the bobcat tracks and even some dead spots on the lawn that had nothing to do with their work. Patricia Willis: Ben and Ryley did a great job with small foundation project that we had. However my husband and I jointly own the house and the account was put in my husbands name only. This is the second time this season that we’ve employed Shield. I mostly dealt with the workers and the office staff so I cannot understand how we were not listed joint on our account. Molly Turnbull: Basement Systems installed water guard weeping tile and CleanSpace wall coverings. This is the best system to protect houses from unwanted flooding and even moisture in the basement. The free assessment came with a lot of useful observations and information. Pete Brisebois: Had a huge crack in the foundation wall which caused water to seep in and made the basement floor heave. They fixed the crack with Injection foam, installed the Water Guard system, installed Interior Weeping Tile and installed a Sump Pump.
