MESOBENA Restaurant: what do users think?

Роман Букатюк: The owner is very friendly and helpful. The interior is cozy, there are beautiful paintings of Eritrea or Ethiopia in the hall. The food is authentic. It is specific and not for everyone. From the outside the building looks bad. It was raining that day and the walkway was all puddle, so my legs were all wet. We ordered kitfo to go, but were a little bit afraid to eat this dish with raw meat, so fried the meat. Was not bad. They also seem to have some musical band performancesVegetarian options: There are completely vegetarian dishes

Amanda Meadows: Went for a lunch, asked for suggestions and got perfect advice for a taster menu. Staff were knowledgeable about the choices and were very attentive and friendly. Ended it off with an amazing espresso. Would highly recommend.

Asian Springroll: Came here this morning and got 4 items. I really enjoyed and lady was very nice to me. I been here many times and I always enjoyed it.I liked the sausage and cabbage roll 3

Louanne Dal Bello: I used to live in Edmonton and my friends and I were talking about our favourite restaurants. When I brought up Shumka, everyone agreed! I lived on Jasper Ave and had to take 3 buses to get there, but it was well worth it. Now I live in the US and it would be several more buses I'd have to take, but I'll tell ya what: it would be worth it. The food is delicious, abundant and fresh. Someone is using their Baba's recipes and it shows.

Роман Букатюк: and nalysnyky were not bad, but way too expensive: 1 CAD for a small piece

Chanelle LaFitte: 100000/10, highly recommend nalysnyky and all the perogiesVegetarian options: very veggie friendly

* Janis *: oh, so good!! It's always ready when you walk in and you can buy premade, frozen to cook at home also. Just love it here

Continental Treat Fine Bistro Gluten Free- Jasper Ave: what do users think?

Ben West: A very calm, intimate atmosphere, nice and quiet great for a date night. Menu has lots of interesting options you won’t see many other places, but a few more common staples if you’re not feeling adventurous. Been a couple times now and haven’t tried anything I didn’t like. Try the dill pickle soup! Trust me. Staff are accommodating and friendly. The parking out front on Jasper is only $1.00/hour.Dietary restrictions: Look it up to double check because this doesn’t effect me, but my understanding is they’re gluten free as well which is awesome!

Evelyn Neame: , the perogie medley and the Camembert. I loved that I could have a ton of tasty appies for the price of a main course. The restaurant was quiet and the service excellent! I highly recommend the Continental Treat Jasper Avenue!

Sean Watt: I have been a loyal customer for years but had only just recently ventured to their new location. Both are wonderful but the downtown location really has a lot to offer. Try them both!Parking: I parked right out front, but this is very limited.

Rene Carlos: which was outstanding; the dill pickle soup, perogies were the standouts for me. We also tried the chicken stroganoff not pictured but i can say it was delicious and fresh. Out of the perogies the mushroom spinach was absolutely delicious. We ordered a lot for two people and i was excited to try this place out. Dill pickle soup, smoked salmon, garlic shrimp, escargot, perogies ,chicken stroganoff, black forest cake and tiramisu. We wanted to try the rack of lamb, unfortunately it wasnt available that day.Last time i was in the space it was the hardware grill circa 2005/2006 ish; and the decor was nice and private. I will be back solely for the soup and perogies in the future.Kid-friendliness: private big booths could seat large familiesParking: parking on the street

Claire Barton: We were in town from Toronto to visit dear friends. They took us to Continental Treat for dinner. We were blown away. Dinner was absolutely amazing. I had the French Onion Soup and the Chicken Schnitzel. Every bite was delicious. We finished with the dessert Pierogies. The service was equally as wonderful. It's been a few weeks, and we are still raving about it. We can't wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: Definitely a must visit if you are gluten-free. If you're not, then you're in for a real treat.

B Berg: Went for lunch. Staff were attentive to our needs. Food was fabulous as always. I love this place on Jasper Ave.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance, tables are far enough apart for wheelchair accessibility.Dietary restrictions: This is a glueten free restaurant. This gluten free food tasted this wonderful, taste is exceptional. Their huge desserts, yes all gluten free delicious!

Matt Lemke: This place has amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The perogies are very good. The schnitzel was crispy and served with a delicious gravy. The attention to detail on all aspects of service and quality are not to be overlooked. The Belgian beers are obviously curated and the wine selection will not disappoint. Come visit, you will be pleased.

YEG.SELLS Edmonton: Delicious food, wine, excellent staff with a clean posh environment - but desert isn’t their specialty. I ordered the deep fried strawberry Nutella perogies, but they weren’t fried and reminded me of my toddler days when I ate play dough. Just don’t order dessert but definitely do dinner here - you won’t regret it!!!!

Tharun Bangera: I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the attentive service during my visit. However, I found the pricing of the food to be disproportionate to the quality offered. Additionally, the tiramisu dessert was quite underwhelming, as it lacked the expected smooth and airy texture. Instead, it appeared dry and overly sweet, resembling more of a cake than an authentic tiramisu.

Leanne Stein: Indeed, it's a lovely spot for date night! And my go-to spot for a quick lunch with a friend to catch up 🐦🌻Parking: We paid $3.50 street parking

Guuto Mothers’ Cafeteria: what do users think?

Richard York: was polite and nice. I ordered goat & rice plate and samosa. The samosa was crispy and perfect curry spice. Wish I ordered one more. The goat has perfect amount of spice and cooked perfectly. Quite a lot of pieces of goat pieces. The rice was flavourful woth this restaurant spice and it was colorful. But their hot sauce is homemade was amazing. I like spicy food but this sauce was flavourful with perfect amount of spice. You want to want the sauce in your rice dish to enhance the meal. One thing I did not like was the salad which some of the lettuce went through better days. The meal also comes with small glass of juice.Overall I would come back again to order goat and rice plate with smoothie

Jade Munderu: The mango smoothie is incredible!! I'm not a sweet tooth but I absolutely loved it. Best smoothie in Edmonton.

Haafid Hassan: This is the best Somali restaurant. I recommend the samosas 😋

Abdiaziz Bihi: The best Somali Cuisine placeDietary restrictions: Mainly they serve Halal Foods

Bassem Derouiche: Great food, great service, I love it !

A.J. Wrenn: Such friendly staff, they taught me about the decor and culture and showed me how to eat the food without utensils. Prices are very good and portions are reasonable.

A P: I hadn't ate all day and they were so quick to make me the best mango smoothie I have had. Wow.

Kevin Huffman: I stopped in my phone was dead the lady working allowed me to plug in for a few minutes to charge. I bought a pop and admired their decor. Great menu Great customer service 👍 Go check out this cool awesome restaurant and have some lunch! I'll be going back. And I'm telling everybody I know to check it out.

Skyler York: Incredible and authentic Somali food. A must try.

Restaurant Yarrow: what do users think?

Beren Hollins: I don’t think I can over-emphasize what a wonderful experience this was. I took my family and from the moment we arrived we were entertained with fabulous food, drinks and service.Eating around what was a lot like a kitchen island, the chefs cooked there in the room over an open flame. There were stories to go with every course and the food was incredible.I was especially impressed by the well conceived non-alcoholic drinks pairings that the kids enjoyed. The cooking was dramatic and confident. I can’t wait to go again.Be aware that you will get a set menu. This is a place to eat and watch a fabulous chef team create magic in front of you.

Brendon Jones: An intimate and interactive experience that’s unlike anything in Edmonton. Delicious and well worth the expense.

Ben: the best restaurant experiences in Edmonton

Wendy Fair: We enjoyed an intimate dining experience with wine pairing, and seating front and centre with the chefs to observe our meal preparation. Can't give away the menu. A must see and do experience. Three hours passed in a flash.

Kevin Penberthy: Wow! I've been to some fancy US restaurants frequented by celebrities, and I am now very proud to say that this Edmonton restaurant blows them all out of the water. Probably not for everyone's budget, but if you and your partner want a really nice experience, just go for it - Totally worth it!!

Sandy: Intimate and well-curated, locally harvested dishes. Unique experience, wonderful service, and delicious food!

Grace Knight: Tony, Shawn and Steve were the most wonderful hosts! We had no idea what to expect when we booked our date at Yarrow - a little hidden gem in an unassuming place. We were the only guests and had the full attention of the chefs It was a very romantic surprise for our anniversary. The food and wine were spectacular! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.We will be back with friends .Appreciated the evening immensely although I’m so full I won’t eat for a week 😉❤️

Geoff spero: An absolutely amazing experience. Very cozy and intimate venue and the food was unlike anything you'd expect to find in Edmonton. I would definitely go back.

May Cuan: NEW chef and bartenders since Spring 2022 I believe and what an AMAZING experience! Very unique for Edmonton - everything is thoughtfully planned from walking in, drinks, pairings, food, fitted out washroom, space, stories, everything. Dinner was beautifully presented and exciting, a sensory experience. Tony and Sean are phenomenal. Cant wait to return!

Jamil Juma: Unique experience I thought the quality of all the dishes was high and the flavours and textures were delicious and creative. I wish more of the courses had some meat/protein, I could’ve eaten more. The bar had great cocktails too!

Joshua Davidson: Unreal dining experience. Definitely something special in Edmonton. Love the way they are using ultra seasonal ingredients in their offering. Everything was on point. We will be back again soon.

Aleah Baranyk: WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Well worth the cost of $200 a seat- Great value for money!!. Not only is the food extremely unique and tasty, but the hospitality is exceptional. You spend about 3.5 hours dining, the chef is VERY knowledgeable and explains every dish beautifully. You leave FULL. Get ready to taste flavours and textures you have never experienced in your life.

Don Croft: My wife and I just finished the most amazing meal, with wine/juice pairing to each successive course for our 45th anniversary. Every bite of food, each sip and all the wonderful flavours were accompanied by fascinating commentary and terrific service, within a high-end custom restaurant. It was our first time having such a foodie experience. We would highly recommend it.

Steve Cutting: A superb dining experience, worth every penny. Very unique, loved it.

Hart's Table & Bar: what do users think?

Dimitri S: Glad we found this place. Nice setting, GREAT food, and awesome staff. Highly reccomend this place for a meal with friends or familyKid-friendliness: There is a kid menu with good options for the beastsParking: No problems with parkingWheelchair accessibility: Located on ground level with handicapped parking available

Andrew: Came here for drinks with my buddy as he suggested this location being close to me. Exterior of Hart’s table looks like a typical pub but upon entering the atmosphere brings you up to another level. Reminds me of a bar at a fancy hotel.Didn’t try their food but had the charts lager and it was good.Nice quiet place - though my friend and the waitress commented how bizarre it is being so dead tonight.Great place to have a nice conversation to catch up with my friend for a short visit.

Francis: Mixed feelings about this place but will try again. The service was top notch and the decor really nice. The chairs were also super comfortable. We had the club sandwich which was good but honestly nothing special or unique about it. The fries were the skinny McDonald's style fries which in restaurants I always find as a let down. Much prefer the larger steak fries but to be fair the portion was pretty big.The other dish we tried was the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. The pizza was pretty good and a good size but again just nothing remarkable. The sauce was plain and the pizza not quite right for Detroit style. It wasn't thick enough but the dough was pretty good. The small pepperonis were delicious though and wish there had been more of them. Will go back and try different dishes due to the great service and atmosphere.

Lorie R: I LOVE Hart’s Table! We used to live in this neighbourhood and I think it is, kind of sadly, one of Edmonton’s best kept secrets! Lovely atmosphere, modern decor and even a patio for outdoor dining in good weather. A friend and I were seated promptly by the host and had great service from our friendly server. Honestly, I love their delish starter salad with SALMON! It is SO good! Fresh, tasty, not a heavy dressing, light and creamy and the yummy chunks of salmon just make it out of this world. And to me it is an ample serving for a meal, which is all I had. Booth or table seating is available and it is accessible with no steps inside the restaurant. Try this spot, you’ll love it. Oh and to end off the meal, the skillet apple pie and ice cream is to DIE for! It is something for those special occasion meals you don’t want to skip out on. Hot apple pie, brought to your table, amazing.

Julianna L: Fantastic food and service! Thanks Aiden

Danneyland: It was SO GOOD. We had the Taiwanese fried chicken and the Macau curry beef. The beef was falling apart with a super yummy beef flavour in a curry potato base. I'll definitely have to order it again. The Taiwanese chicken was all super juicy, crispy, and very tasty. The takeout containers are really cool with how they keep the rice separate. We also got some iced teas with jelly. This might be our new favourite restaurant.

Highlevel Diner: what do users think?

Flairs Warss: Very friendly servers, the Spice Bird Chicken burger was delicious the portion size was very justifiable for the price the two chicken breasts made the dinner filling, with the house fries to go along with made the meal perfect. Loved the fish n chips as well.Parking: The parking across the diner is free and reserved only for the diner customers.

P Howard: This Diner has that perfect cute and classic feel but without any of the grime that usually comes along with most Diners. It's a beautiful little spot in the Garneau area that really helps complement the neighboorhood. For a Diner, I'd have to say this place likely has the most interesting menu in the city... And everything on it is beyond delicious! Though I can imagine picky and non adventurous eaters finding this menu too unique and not traditional enough. But that is the best thing about the food here, it's so yummy and interesting for a Diner! They even have their own artisan made house ketchup!Lastly, but most importantly, the service and staff are super sincerely friendly, efficient, and attentive. This place has become my favorite Diner in the city... it is hard for me to believe there can be a better Diner around here.I HIGHLY recommend checking this establishment out! 👍👍Parking: There is a free parking lot across the avenue from the Diner, but you HAVE to sign in your license plate # in a book within the entrance of the Diner.
