Ashley R: . There's no carpet in the halls so every sound echoes. I couldn't imagine how loud it would be in the summer when there's more people staying.Women's bathroom stunk - there must be a venting issue with the sewer because the bathroom constantly reeked of sewer gas. The window would be left open to mitigate the smell, but then it was just smelly and cold.Summary - it was a good deal for the price

William Mabee: I don't mind the place it's easy to get to it and the rooms could be cleaned a bit better. At least there is no bed bugs in any of the rooms.Rooms: Needs to clean under the bigger furniture.Nearby activities: There isn't close for walking distance.Safety: There is alot of heavy traffic here due to some rooms do have drug users in them. But you get that anywhere.Walkability: Walk down Calgary trail from Whyte ave and on the west of Calgary trail. You can't miss it. Home depot is right across Calgary trail from the Nice Inn Motel.Food & drinks: Just a can of pop and maybe a bag of small chips or a chocolate bar. Not much to choose from.Noteworthy details: I don't mind it cause there is privacy the staff gives me.

It's name spoke volumes whenever brought up it would inspire stories of depravity and drugs of all sorts.. again sorry to the owner. New management or not it's become a part of the city which is of its own class. I'm a fan.. lol

Solution Maker: This place is Great,The rooms with nobody above them are like mini houses, they have everything you need. Separate bedrooms, bathtub, the kitchen has a full size refrigerator and oven, the couches are very nice comfortable leather. The location of this place might be the best thing about it. it's outside of the city so it has a quiet country feel about it. There is a washer and dryer on site so you don't have to leave to wash your clothes. The people who work here are like angels, I'm not kidding, extremely helpful, they give you your space and never bother you. I have stayed in a few hotel/motels and I've never dealt with people in the hospitality industry this welcoming and helpful. Don't listen to the low reviews, take it from somebody who has been here more than a month. Thank you Thriftlodge.
Julie Connors: I really can't say enough great things about this motel. They do have kitchenettes as an option, there is air conditioning. The rooms are quiet, you can't hear people beside or below you. The staff are FANTASTIC, so friendly and will to go beyond. Shella, the manager is an amazing person and willing to go above and beyond. We have met some great people here, if you aren't shy to talk to people. You are close to grocery shopping here, Wal-Mart is a 5 minute drive.

Myster Wonderful: Goot a great night sleep!!!
Lily Riwukore: This place is alright for two stars hotel. We noticed that this hotel was just beside the train, but surprisingly, there was no noise, so we slept okay. The washroom is clean; the carpet is alright. Honestly, this place is way more hygienic than any other two-star hotel we visited. The owner is friendly and well informative. It was hard for us to drive in Edmonton for their one way; it could have been clearer. But other than that, we had a great night.Food & drinks: there is no breakfast.

Janice Chau: . The property is kind of dated and could use some upgrading, but that was a reasonable tradeoff for a lower rate. It can also get noisy at times - not from outside but the interior hallway.The location is excellent - steps from an LRT station and direct buses to WEM, and close to lots of great restaurants. Check-in was quick and painless.

Elizabeth T.: The front desk workers and housekeepers are awesome. Very friendly, very accommodating. Never had any issues checking in.The area is downtown, so we were able to walk pretty much wherever we wanted to go. There is the basic amount of crime or danger with being downtown in the area, but the Days Inn felt really safe.The room itself was pretty nice. Exceptionally clean. My only qualms are that the carpet can sometimes be ever so slightly damp, HOWEVER, not musty damp. It smells clean and fresh, I think they just clean it often. And usually when my party has more than 2 people, there won't be enough towels in the room for us all so I just ask for me and it works out perfectly. Absolutely worth the money.
Golda David: Great location and the staff was amazing! We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and quiet and it was in a great location from lots of cool restaurants. We were in walking distance from our appointments and they even let us leave our car there after check out on the last day. Thank you!Great staff! Every single one of them were professional and worked hard at ensuring we had any issues resolved.The Cora restaurant was great for breakfast too.

Sam Fortune: After a bad experience with a hotel down the street we booked here very last minute. We showed up 15 mins after booking and the lady at the front desk was very nice and even gave us a free upgrade to have a room further away from the construction starting the following morning. The room was nice and very clean. The housekeeping staff were also really nice and did a great job. There is plenty of parking and a good continental breakfast. The hotel it’s self is slightly dated but well maintained. It was also nice having a separate entrance although the key card scanner didn’t work a few times. Next time I am in Edmonton I will definitely be booking again!

High Tide: This hotel is extremely close to West Edmonton Mall which is the main reason why I stayed here on my trip. It has great rooms and is pet friendly. The breakfast they made in the morning was awesome making me want to stay there again. I loved the hotel and it's high quality service.Rooms: The rooms had great furniture and was cleaned extremely well before I checked in with my family.Nearby activities: The fact that the hotel was within 5 minutes of West Edmonton Mall made me love this hotel even more
Leslie Brackenbury: Place is fine but the location there. They got a lot of people wandering around and parking lot at all hours.Safety: Didn't like coming and going. Every time you went in the parking lot there was somebody bothering you or wandering around just felt unsafe.

Ty Knibbs: Amran at the front desk is a gem. She was helpful at every turn and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Extremely professional, and kind ❤️Rooms: Rooms are clean and sanitary. We had a very small stain by the foot of our comforter, but that is the only thing we found. Modern facilities 👍Safety: Outside during the day is very safe and a great area to walk around and see the downtown sights. However, after about 1am it’s a little sketch.
