Our first experience as we walked in the front door was a pleasant one as we were greeted by 2 friendly staff members behind the service desk. Our next experience was a little disappointing because there was no employee around the skate area to offer any assistance. After approximately 10 minute of waiting, a Fine Gentleman named “Jed” arrived and asked to help us out. Some things are worth waiting for! Very informative, patient and professional! We didn’t leave with a pair of skates but I did leave knowing which ones i will purchase and where i will be buying them… Thanks Jed for all you did with us!

I was in yesterday to get my skates sharpened, and I have been interested in getting the CCM FT4 Pro's. Aaron helped get me what I was looking for really quick, while he also continued to help out numerous other customers needs at the same time. He came by often to check how they were, and what my thoughts were on the fit. He brought me a few different fits to try so we could make sure we were landing on the best absolute fit. Everyone was being serviced in an efficient manner. Just for his awesome service I will be making sure to come back to this location to purchase my FT4 Pro's in the next few weeks.I was hoping to run into a manager on my way out to let them know about this, but I figured that a review would be just as helpful. Keep up the great work! Hockey is very important to the Edmonton community, and I am very appreciative to see people who are passionate about the sport, employed in your stores. It makes the trip to PHL always an enjoyable experience.

After 5-10 minutes he returned and said they hadn't been able to loosen those bolts either and recommended I make an appointment and ask them to work on it for an hour at the shop rate of $100/hour. But he didn't charge me anything for the time spent today. He also advised me that my back brake cable needed to be replaced since it would soon fray.Excellent service!

    Norm Trottier: We bought new bikes and a year later one of them started making a thumping sound. Took it in a couple times, then the service manager Jeff took over. They replaced everything they could think of. We talked to Tracy who is one of their bike techs….it was a puzzle for them. They rode it and the noise wouldn’t go away. They finally found a rare issue with the rear wheel that was the cause. They were helpful and provided great customer service while they tried to fix. So happy they got the issue resolved. Thats why we buy local and from reputable shops…. They care!

The size was incorrect & the staff was super friendly & accommodating, as they allowed me to exchange the jersey for the correct size & have sent it out for the same custom numbering. I was so pleased with their customer service that I ended up purchasing a Blue Jays wind breaker & gift card before as I leaving the store.

When I got back to the store the next day to pick it up, apparently they had a hard time removing the wheels on one of the skates and it broke the chassis.They replaced the inline-skates that got broke with a Bauer RS inline skates! I also bought a couple of Marsblade O1 Frame Kit since it's on sale and will be heading back to the store to have it installed with a pair of ice skates that I have.Ryan did really went above and beyond on helping me out. Kudos to the staff with their awesome customer service, specially Ryan! This will be my new go to store for any hockey related items!

    Jane Lindberg: I recently experienced EXCELLENT assistance and service at the Totem Rental and Repair shop, most especially from Luke. This shop has a good selection of accessory bits and pieces for repairing all kinds of outdoor equipment and other projects. Their display board features grommets, rivets, toggles, webbing, hardware, etc, nearly impossible to find anywhere else in the city. It’s a little known gem for DIY’ers. Luke took the time to explain a repair process to me, he was very patient and friendly - FIVE STAR SERVICE! I’ll be back for bigger projects and future rentals.

The gazebo is 13 feet across and definitely needed some major wrangling to sew it. Kyle piped all the joints and capped the peak so it would not leak. We were kept up to date on the progress and were always greeted with an enthusiastic, positive, very friendly attitude. Kyle and Luke were very pleased when I brought in photos of the gazebo. Luke went through all the work when I picked it up, and made sure to let me know that if anything needed adjustment all we needed to do is bring it in.Kyle and Luke offered above and beyond customer service from the time we arrived right up to the present, thanks again for everything!!!!

We come here for my 13-yr old grandson's hockey gear as he's grown at least a foot the last 2 years and at 6 feet in his running shoes he's well into adult gear. I've been here for kayak gear as well as repairs and the staff are always friendly knowledgeable & can fix almost anything! I highly recommend you check them out first!!!

    Kirk Dewhurst: This location is convenient and easy to access. It’s part of a two storey store that has Sport Chek on the second floor. Of course Sport Chek owns this store. But they really two different stores. This one is for the adventurer because it caters to the hiker and backpacker. So tents and sleeping bags and backpacks and other related products. You can even get kayaks here, although once you’ve bought it how to get it home is the question. Anyways it’s a nice place that is clean and well lit.
