Alliance Française of Edmonton: what do users think?

Pierrick BARTHEZEME: Superb team

Nigah Mahajan: Good place to learn french in Edmonton

于春艳: It's perfect !

jennifer smith: Great place and great people!

Michaël Casajus: A very friendly meeting place, which offers courses and activities in French. I meet a lot of interesting and cultured people. For a first contact, I recommend coming to participate in the coffee-croissant activity every first Sunday of the month at 10:30 am. See you soon at the Alliance Française!

Sam Ham: The best space in Edmonton for all Francophiles of all persuasions, an unconditional faithful.

Toa D: Wonderful place with wonderful people, would recommend to anyone

Cyndi Cloutier: Very comfortable learning environment. All the staff and instructors are so friendly. They provide many activities to help get you engaged with the culture and language. Learning is done with out the stress and pressures.

Marija Nikolic-Jaric: , so I was really glad for the opportunity to enroll in the 'A2 Interaction and Role Play.' Conversation topics in this course are centered around useful everyday situations. You get plenty of opportunity to practice and interact with others in a relaxed, fun, and friendly atmosphere, and your confidence develops along. Marie is an effective and enthusiastic teacher committed to her students' advancement -- I am lucky to have her as a private tutor as well. A great deal of thought goes into planning each session, so that each hour and a half is a sojourn to a new French-speaking place -- even your homework is fun! I look forward to our weekly meetings and would definitely sign up for a similar course again.

Gary Mason: Just started the A2 conversation class at Alliance Francaise in Edmonton. Excellent !! Just what I need to get back into a neglected endeavour.Really enjoying it. Marie - la professeur - is great !!! Well done AF !!!June 14-2016Two more classes left, and I need more. Registered for the next session. Yeah !!

Geneviève Therrien: Great atmosphere! Full of activity!

École Michaëlle-Jean: what do users think?

pink2004luigi: Out of all the schools I went to, École Michaëlle-Jean was the only place who really provided support for my autism. They are understanding, all the staff are easy to talk to and kind, and they are not afraid to make arrangements to help students who struggle to move forwards. I did get a bit of tough love at times, but the things I've learnt not only academically but also of myself as a person is more than anything I learnt prior, and I have to thank them for that. Contrary to other schools I went to, I came out of this one graduated and generally content with myself.

Edmonton Hispanic Bilingual Association: what do users think?

walww tiidaa: I am interesting to attend the Hispanic courses. So I was trying to contact the Edmonton Hispanic Bilingual association but I couldn’t get to reach anyone over the phone or even I went twice to the school.I am looking forward to speak to the administration so I can register and discuss the schedule pleaseThank you

CM: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueA very well-run & professional organization working to teach Spanish. I find the lessons interesting & have learned quite a bit under great tutorship.

Steven Tchir: Great instructors and an awesome community!

Danielle Sylvie: I really enjoyed attending these classes. Our Instructor was excellent, he explained things well and made our class a fun and friendly atmosphere to learn in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to learn Spanish, and am so looking forward to my next set of Classes.

David Thompson: The EHBA is a good place to study Spanish in Edmonton. The devoted and experienced instructors are all Spanish speakers from many different countries-- Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela....eager to share their cultures. The small classes are structured, yet flexible and fun, with ample opportunity to interact with like-minded people from other classes during the breaks. Course materials are interesting, current and relevant, with audio/visual support. Tuition is reasonable. There is ample parking and an LRT station nearby. It all makes for a good language learning "fit".

tera ballman: . All of the instructors I met were very good and very friendly. It was a no pressure learning environment that I felt comfortable in, and my class made it all the better. I found the work book to be a bit confusing at times, and noted there didn't seem to be answers I could look up on my own. The instructor did help in this area in class, but we didn't always go over everything as there was always more to learn. I feel like the classes could stand to be 12 weeks over 10 weeks if it was an option, as there is always so much to cover.

Kyle: I took Spanish level 1 and really liked the whole experience. The teaching was excellent the atmosphere was enjoyable. I look forward to level 2.

Kris Karver: scene in Edmonton; a scene which will hopefully grow fast, because it will enrich this city immeasurably.I started classes in Level 3

Parsa Emami: Great group of instructors and volunteers. I'd definitely recommend EHBA to anyone wanting to learn Spanish.

Raka Josan: I am a beginner in Spanish and my first real exposure to Spanish was through EHBA. It is a great school with very knowledgeable instructors. I am just completing Level 1 and will defintely register for Level 2. Great program and highly recommended. Chao!

Kevin Solar: , levels one and two, and I will be going back for three. The community that they have cultivated is beautiful, everyone is extremely happy, pleasant, and willing to share their knowledge. I am learning in the classes, and I have been given the tools to keep learning while not in class, to keep moving it forward. If you are interested in learning Spanish, for whatever reason, the EHBA is the place to go in Edmonton. Great empanadas, too.

Linda Vennard: I am on my second level of Spanish lessons with EHBA and it has been great. The classes are excellent, lots of variety in the teaching methods and both teachers and classmates are alot of fun. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone wanting to learn a new language.

Rustam Tashpulatov: It is an excellent program for those who want to start learning Spanish for travel or work related purposes. All instructors are native Spanish speakers with university degrees. Many also teach at University of Alberta so they are all very experienced. The price is very affordable, a fraction of what you pay at the university. As one progresses through the learning, the class sizes are smaller and normally are 4-6 people at pre-intermediate level. Students receive a lot of attention from their instructors. The only drawback is that the training is limited to level one to six and there is no advanced levels so one would have to leave the program at the end of two year training if one wants to master the language at an advanced level. The program is more than enough to prepare an individual to travel comfortably in a Spanish speaking country.

Ayanna G: Great option for anyone that wants to learn Spanish for the first time or refresh your spanish! The staff is amazing. The staff makes the environment welcoming and fun! They also build a community by getting all the classes together during the break. I would recommend to anyone! It is is also one of the more affordable Spanish courses in the city.

Kat N: I took the Level 1 Spanish course and it was so much fun! Our instructor was great as she was so patient and helpful. The learning environment was awesome and the course was easy to follow. I would definitely recommend taking Spanish with EHBA!

Michelle Trinh: I've been taking classes with EHBA during the 2018/2019 school year and would definitely consider these classes to anyone who is interested in learning Spanish. The environment allows you to immerse yourself in learning aspects of the Latin culture - from listening and practicing to speak Spanish in class, to delicious Argentina empanadas, and meeting other students and teachers. You are informed at the beginning of each course, but I wanted to highlight that the classes do require a bit of self-motivation and practice outside of the hours to truly grasp what you're learning. Definitely worth giving EHBA classes a shot!

Albana Z: The association offers a great program for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn Spanish. It's a casual atmosphere, great teachers, and the courses are structured with the ultimate goal of conversational fluency. Matching teacher's skills with various course levels can be improved but overall it's a great program.

GH Cliff: I am just completing level 4. I have also taken levels 2 and 3. The classes are very good and are a good way to learn Spanish. The instructors in levels 2 and 4 were excellent.

Let's Learn (Centre for Learning): what do users think?

Stephanie B: We are extremely happy with the programming at let's learn. Both my children are excited to go every week. This is a huge thing as my one child struggles with school typically. All the teachers have been so amazing with working with my children and listening to my concerns and our previous struggles. Then, making adjustments as needed. Both my children have learned so much more than they have in other programs. I'm truly so happy we found this school. I'm sure we will continue going for a long, long time.

Mahdi Qasqas: The new location is phenomenol and well worth the added few minutes for us north of 153ave. What has certainly not changed is the outstanding effort and commitment Mrs. Ula and her team have for our children. Ma Sha Allah!

Veronica Kashmir: It is amazing,I was taught there and now I am fluent in Arabic.

Moe Haboush: Great environment and welcoming staff. it's a place where children actually learn Arabic, Islamic studies, and Quran memorization. Highly recommend!

Omar M Audeh: As a student who has been attending this school for the past 10 years and is currently attending it, I feel the teachers at this school are very passionate in teaching and make the student’s learning a priority. I am able to read, write and speak Arabic due my teachers dedication.

Dana Habboush: Wonderful education and a great learning environment. Definitely recommended!

Kamal Farhat: I can not simply state how great of a pre-school this place is. My 2 boys have learned so much in such a short period of time, and my friends are shocked by the amount that my children have learned. The staff are so respectful, always update parents on activities and my children are excited to go to school. If you are looking for a pre-school, this is definitely the place you want your child to be.

Sihame Farhat: Phenomenal learning environment. My 3 year old son has learned so much in the past 6 months! Small ratios allow teachers to spend more time with each child. Highly recommend this as a preschool and weekend school for anyone looking!

Ala’a: My kids started with Lets learn five years ago.Beautiful staff and well educated. Mrs. Kawthar and Mrs.Sana are amazing and all my kids adore them and learn well with them.Ola is an understanding, loving and caring person and kids feel loved at her centre. If you want your kids to learn arabic, this is the place to go to but definitely needs parent’s involvement doing homework at home in order for this to work. Yes, I highly recommend this centre.
