Kirk Dewhurst: Nice pond/ lake in Hermitage Park. There is a nice dock to fish from and of course fishing 🎣 from the shore is great also. There are washroom facilities available nearby. There are picnic tables and benches around the pond for relaxing and enjoying good food. Lots of green spaces and trees 🌲 to enjoy a visit here. My wife and I have been here many times over the years and definitely recommend coming here.

Michelle Urban: Perfect little in the city fishing spot, my boys loved it. I wish there were a few benches along the shore and the dock needs some repairs. But that's super minor. Will definitely be going again!
Lyn Jeffery: Its a beautiful place. Love walking my dog through there. Just wished they would stop cutting the grounds around it. Its scorched and damaged beyond repair especially in a drought. Would love to see the gorgeous grasses return

Hermitage Park is located in the north-east end of the city. Filled with natural trails, a large off-leash dog area and picnic sites, this park provides users a variety of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Fishing and paddling activities are also available.
* Personal non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are permitted. Gas and electric motors are not permitted. See boating and canoeing for regulations and etiquette.

Hermitage has 1 picnic site available for reservation during the summer. The park has 24 picnic tables available for drop-in (no fee) use. Additionally, group reservation site tables that are not reserved in advance can be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis.
