It has been known to happen that Marshall hides from enthusiastic customers, which is okay, because Marshall has staff who can help. I only wish Marshall would have said hello. But if Marshall was scared, I can understand why Marshall would hide in a fabric-free room. I just hope Marshall wore fabric while Marshall hid.Otherwise, despite the lack of Marshall, they had way more fabric and way cheaper prices than I have seen in other places, and they also had people who could help with fabric needs, and did.Maybe next time I will see Marshall.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions you may have. 10/10 I recommend. Also they have amazing deals throughout the year on product and their clearance wall. Nathaniel Laroche: I had bought their lunar new years line. I love the print, I got a geometrical gold pink one and the lotus flower ones on several bases. I was disappointed when my lotus blue one wasn’t included in the order because of it being sold out, and had waited until January. But when I reached out to them they rectified it without concern which will make me a returning customer. Happy to suppose canadian businesses as well!

The CL is crisp and lightweight and the shirred bodice I made gather beautifully! The colours are vibrant and stay crisp. I can’t wait for their next fabric release!

I now weave regularly and with the support from all the staff at this studio, I can say that weaving is my new happy place. The owners, Kim and Angela, their colleague Shannon, and staff are extremely patient, kind and thoughtful in teaching and supporting new weavers. I've enrolled in various workshops and every time finish the class with a deeper understanding of weave structure, techniques and of course a cherished finished product. They work hard with local artisans, and wool and fibre producers, not only in the Edmonton area, but Alberta and the rest of Canada to offer a truly buy local business. Edmonton is lucky to have this weaving and sewing studio!!

mat kelly: I took lessons here, its a great place with a comfy atmosphere, I had no clue how to sew and was in a class with a hobbyist and a aspiring fashion student. I did not feel out of place at all, Angela was helpful and understanding giving each student the attention they deserved. She does not force you to do projects, you get to choose to do what ever you want to do each week or over the course of multiple sessions. I would not only recommend for adult of all skill levels but i have been around when she teaches all ages of children and she is always great with all of them.

It’s not the biggest selection but the quality was top notch.I’m getting back into sewing as a hobby and the store/owners are very approachable. I don’t necessarily find that at the bigger stores.They also clearly know what kind of fabric selection people want for modern clothing and they had great knowledge about their products. Gurpinder Jagdev: I'm not sure about the negative reviews on here but this place was good to me. Great service, tailoring was quick and lots of selection for any event. As for not saying hello upon arrival, I think that totally depends on what the owner is occupied with. I've been here multiple times and a few times it was due to stocking etc. But I pay no mind as she says hello as soon as she notices. Definitely would recommend a visit. Latest trends and loose fabric are both available. I wouldn't recommend for shoes or accessories.
