Gunnar Blodgett: Very welcoming congregation, theater and non-conformist friendly. Lovely heritage building with well kept grounds. Regular events including a recent al fresco apres-service potluck.

Arielle Mavridis: that is open to the public and it is beautifully maintained. The landscaping is amazing, the flowers look and smell beautiful, the grass is well groomed and nice to sit on and this park allows dogs on leash!So if you’re looking for a nice walking destination, or even a place to walk through with your furry friend, this is a very serene place with a lot of history that is located in the downtown core that is worth checking out!I went at 8:30pm, sun was still shining, the fountain sounded beautiful, and there was only about 3 other people and 1 very cute dog. A hidden beauty in the city!

Chad Graham: This is the most friendly church I have ever visited. People are genuine, the preaching is good, with exposition of bible books the general fare, places in a context of a rich historically informed service in two parts.The first half of the service Jana service of the word, with scripture read, prayer, sang and preached. The second part is the service of the table with the gospel celebrated at the Lord’s table. This is a historic liturgy, relevant to today.The word “liturgy” is a biblical word thst speaks of the worship conducted by a congregation. Every church service has a liturgy, an order to that worthwhile. At Christ the King that order is historically informed, well thought out and rich; highly recommended.

David Armstrong: The local Anglican Church in the Fulton Place/Capilano area of Edmonton has a small and aging congregation but the Pastor is young and oriented to reaching out to the whole area. A community garden is one such endeavor. Another is the hosting of a Christmas dinner for residents of the area, a five year labour of love and cooperation among other churches nearby.
Jon Crane: . There is a core group who have been praying together and learning the ways of Jesus for over 50 years and many who have joined with them along the way. The congregation loves the kids among them and knows that life is best shared together with many ages. They are a fun group, but are able to respond to sorrows with kindness. They are generous and caring, involved in social justice, and comfortable in the perceived gap between science and faith. St. Augustine's is not a 'loud' church, but many have found the community a real anchor in the twists and turns of life.
