Chelsey Perkins: I was 3 months pregnant when I was referred to Dr. Dionne for 2 root canals after a pretty nasty pre-pregnancy fall. Naturally, I was terrified. Let me tell you - there is NOTHING TO FEAR coming here! The entire experience was dare I say, nice! Dr. Dionne and his entire staff are all incredible. They truly care for their patients and their comfort. I felt nothing. My recovery was easy. And I'm not dreading going back in December for another possible 2 root canals. Charlene: I recently had Dr. Lo perform a root canal that my regular dentist was unable to complete. The whole experience was exceptional. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Lo was great at explaining everything from the initial consultation to the actual procedure. He is very gentle and checks in frequently to ensure I was in no pain. His assistant was great at checking to make sure I was ok throughout the treatment. I was interested in pursuing the completion of the root canal with Dr. Lo as he uses Gentle Wave and I understand how important it is to make sure the area is well disinfected especially since I already had an infection. I would highly recommend Dr. Lo as he was able to prevent me from having to have this tooth extracted. Thanks to Dr. Lo and his whole team!

She sent all my paperwork to both my insurance companies, forwarded my exam results and recommendations to my current dentist, and she even printed out various quotes for me, without hesitation... Rod MacDonald: Dr. Saper and his staff are first class. I was in for a root canal and the entire process took 45 minutes. They are very professional, asked me if I had any questions or concerns and then went right to work. I found it very impressive how the team works so efficiently together. Highly recommend.
Spencer Lane: Today was my root canal re treatment I've been dealing with a miss fitted crown and infected root for quite some time apparently one root wasn't even completed originally thankfully i got reccomend to Dr Saper! I read some reviews before coming in people talking about falling asleep in his chair while getting root canals and I thought to myself.. wonder if he wrote these himself 😆 but after spending about an hour and half in his chair its true! Both him and staff were beyond exceptional I brought my big boy pants but I even received a topical freezing before the needle the whole process was completely painless after all said and done I truthfully couldn't believe I waited that long over nothing.. if your even second guessing this place or getting dental work done I've been there.. look no further call and make the appointment today these guys are worth every penny.Big thanks again Dr Saper!

John Matheson: I went for my first two root canals in October and I have to admit I was very nervous going into the procedure. Horror stories from people who had root canals years ago set the stage. The staff were fantastic and while I was informed that some patients actually fall asleep I was sceptical. Also I was wrong as the procedure was completely painless and I could have fallen asleep. Dr Saper was most informative and helped relieve any anxiety. Overall the best dental experience I could have imagined.

Dylan Grove: Referred here 2 years ago for a lower left molar root canal. Procedure was just about as much fun as you'd expect. Fast forward to today and I have an infection on the root of that tooth. My dentist and Dr. Matthew believe it is a failed root canal but we can't know the cause. I was horrified that I'd have to pay for a new rool canal as I'm in a tough spot with no benefits. Dr. Matthew has stated that he stands behind his work and simply wants to work to resolve this without charge.He has my full respect and I trust him to carry out the resolution over the next few months. He has my sincere gratitude for being open, respectful, and working to prove the quality of his work.Update:Had the first "root canal" to clear out the previous filling and apply the medicine. Wasn't so bad as long as you have some music to listen to and stay distracted. So far I have had very little pain but I am sticking to chewing on one side just to be safe.Update 2:After a few months of waiting for the infection to go away, I went back in to get the final root canal where they basically cleaned it out and then re-filled it and put a permanent cap on it. Felt basically back to normal after the freezing went away. No pain at all and I can already chew on that side of my mouth right away. Again, I wasn't charged anything and I really respect Dr. Saper for sticking to that because money is a little tight for me at the moment.Would recommend to anyone 100%.

Gail C: I was 1st introduced to Dr. Saper in 2018 when he had to surgically redo a root canal on an upper front tooth that has a crown and a bridge attached. Long story short I have seen Dr. Saper numerous times over the past 3 years to ensure the surgical area was healing appropriately. Most recently to satisfy the dental clearance I need before receiving another surgical procedure.I am extremely pleased with the services I have received from Dr Saper and his staff. I am confident in their skills and would recommend him and his staff to anyone needing the care of an endodontist. I do not have dental insurance coverage and am a senior. He has been very fair with his pricing and his time. While I am hoping I don't need endodontic care again, if it is necessary I would not hesitate to book an appointment with Dr. Saper.

Mark McCullough: Totally positive experience!Emergency situation with an upper molar that had an active infection that had killed the nerve/pulp. Referred to Dr. Lalh for a root canal to save the structure of the tooth, and was told by my dentist that he is awesome.Excellent Endodontist that he is, Dr. Lalh ordered a CBCT scan that showed extensive resorbtion of the tooth which meant it couldn't be saved and needed to be extracted. He recommended an oral surgeon as the tooth was likely to come out in pieces because of the resorbtion.Full credit to Dr. Lalh for taking the precaution with the cat scan as it gave him the means to set out the best course of action.Dr. Lalh and his team are extremely professional and competent as well as personable. I left there feeling lucky to be in their care.I fully recommend them to anyone needing the expertise of a great endodontist.

During every step of the process, I felt welcome, informed, relaxed, and well cared for.The initial contact from the receptionist, first over the phone and then onsite, was so kindhearted. Upon arrival, the office has an elegant decor and is as comforting as one’s own living room. On the front desk were detailed brochures that enlightened me on root canal procedures. That, to me, was a sharp idea, as a way to keep patients informed, which I think is crucial, and so I took a few brochures for future reference.The dental assistants were friendly and had a calming influence as they performed the preparatory work. I must say that the patient’s reclining chair was so comfy that I might have to order one for the house. And I signed the release form on a tooth-shaped clipboard, another neat touch that made me laugh and added to my calm state.Root canals had, for me, a reputation for being scary or daunting, but speaking only for myself, I can honestly say that the actual procedure on this day was relatively painless. Dr. Layton and Dr. Yasini worked with such professionalism and they were keen to ensure that I was well during and following the procedure, which I was. Because of the procedure I was unable to use laughing gas which I have needed in all my past appointments with drilling involved. This is the first time I did good at the dentist and I think it was because of all the staff and the doctor! Highly recommended!

Jordan: They've been nothing but helpful to me! When I had to book my appointment I had to go back to get checked because there was too long of a time frame between it. They didn't charge me for the second check up. Dr. Kwan did my root canal in about an hour and 15 minutes, I didn't feel a single thing!All the staff are very friendly, Dr. Kwan was very gentle with the procedure.
Jerry Zakariasen: Dr. Kwan and his team are the rock stars of Endodontics. Needles were virtually painless and Dr. Kwan and his assistant work like a well oiled machine. Fast, efficient, and very very good. My molar had to have 4 root canals and all that work was done in just a little over an hour! If you need to have a root canal done, I highly recommend that you work with Dr. Eric Kwan and his very able associates. They will take very good care of you!
Natasha Leung: Dr. Kwan and his assistant put me at ease. There was literally zero pain except the slightest of pinches during the numbing process. The staff were very kind. I have a fear of dentistry, so their comforting nature Is valuable to me.

Little did I know that he had to go to his office in between his meetings at the University that morning, just to fit me in.The work was painless and superb. I was so impressed by Dr. Kwan's professionlism. He is skilful, caring, good mannered and went extra miles to calm down my fear and anxiety.This year, in October 2018, I needed a root canal on another molar! I thought of Dr. Eric, no one else but Dr. Eric, though my dentist sent me to another prominant specialist in Calgary. My caring husband said he would drive me to Edmonton again, because Dr. Eric is the best, and I am worth it.Dr. Eric is really the best, I would recommend him anytime. Imagine when you have your root canal done at 1:00 p.m., and you are able to eat your lunch at 1:30 p.m., no pain, no discomfort, just take the antibiotic, and absolutely no pain killer taken. Dr. Eric did warn me the pain may come the next day, so I bought Advil to stand by.My sincere gratitude, Dr. Eric!

I really liked that they take before and after photos of your teeth so you can see the work that was done.
