Tzin Wine & Tapas: what do users think?

Tina: We opted to celebrate our anniversary here and we had an awesome Saturday night! Special thanks to lovely servers!Vegetarian options: Salads, falafel or patatas bravas

Vanessa Wedick: . But I guess that’s tapas so no fault of the place. The servers are lovely and very knowledgeable about wine pairings! Highly recommend the white wine riesling. Also the salmon is incredible!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Falafel Balls, Harissa Prawn …

Kristine Fabish: .Each dish came out as a different course which was great for our party who were catching up after being apart for so long. All the food was so amazing that I forgot to take pictures. It was all flavourful, tasty, and well seasoned. Each of us had a different favorite dish but also enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Gnocchi with mushroom and cherry sauce, followed closely by the Bacon. The only drawback from the night was that nearby parking was pretty expensive but also not unexpected for the neighborhood.

Ivy L: I love going to Tzin whenever I'm in Edmonton. I hate Edmonton but Tzin is one of the only things that makes Edmonton bearable for me. I might be biased though because tapas are my favourite type of food. The food is definitely pricy for small portions, but that's generally how it goes for tapas. I think considering how delicious the food is, the price tag is fair. The Bacon is phenomenal. My husband doesn't generally like bacon, but at Tzin, he ate most of the dish that we were sharing. I also really enjoyed the sea salt and caramel steak. Wood smoked caramel drizzled on a medium rare steak is something I never pictured together before, but they really make it work!I was introduced to Tzin from the Downtown Dining Week event and I'm so glad I did. The servers are always attentive and it's such an intimate dining experience.

Sheida Noroozi: We opted to spend our anniversary dinner at Tzin and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service! The wine recommendation paired nicely with the dishes we had selected. The bacon is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! A must try!

Donna Gee: This has always been one of my favorite neighborhood gems. It's small but never feels cramped. Even on its busy days I've never had the sense that I've had to wait an unreasonable time for service. The wait staff are always pleasant to interact with and I feel like they enjoy what they and don't seem so over extended that they can't spend a moment or two with you. I love the fun environment with the multicolored lights and miss matched dinnerware. The means always taste like a home cooked meal. Now one of these days in going to check them out when they have a live music show😁

Warren Clarke: and live music!Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian and vegan options for many dishes, Pad Thai in particular had chicken, shrimp or tofu options.Kid-friendliness: There were children there to see the band playing, I'm assuming all ages?

Crajjg Corjan: Didn't have any food, but had drinks service was awesome and friendly great performance from a local band The leaky shack traveling road show, great atmosphere amazing local art on the walls great little place will be going back!.Parking: Great place with every night of the week live performances!!.

Bob Lamoureux: Attended a 5 course wine dinner that was amazing. Each course was beautifully paired with a wine. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very comfortable with a nice patio. The egg plant lasagna was outstanding! Definitely will make this a regular place to go for a meal.Dietary restrictions: They happily prepared a chimichuri sauce without garlic for one of our party.

billy moses: Delightful menu and special features..Bartender d'un talent et d'une compétence extraordinaires.Best whisky sour I've had.Last time there, I perused the menu, I wasn't overly hungry, so I ordered their house salad. I have never in my life been excited about a house salad.Blue Chair changed that. This was far beyond most peoples expectations of what a house salad is. Loaded with seeds and nuts, cheese, all manner of fresh vegetables, atop lush, crisp greens. I was satisfied beyond my imagination. My partner got one of the features, glazed salmon, grilled asparagus, and a delicious risotto. As she was pregnant, the salmon had to be cooked through. Despite this, it was tender, succulent and seasoned perfectly. We shared a orange/citrus crème brûlée. I've never been a fan of crème brûlée. I will certainly be ordering theirs, it was a revelation. Our server was attentive, not at all overbearing. He was very friendly, jocular, and very kind. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment, the chef/BOH, bartender and our server. This place is outstanding.

Byron Wallis: Some of the best food we had in Edmonton. Great service. Plenty of gluten free optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten intolerant options

Emmanuel Shakir: The service was great, the food was super fresh, and ingredients that complemented each other to make the perfect dish. The room is very airy with lots of natural lightParking: Lots of ample free parking

Alan Varughese: , but it lamb

Stewart Hutchings: My sister Lee and I had Lunch today at the work shop. We were greeted and served by marina. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu sauces and specials. Prompt service and attentive service through out. An absolute pleasure to have her assist us.We had the red wine beef short ribs on a bun mine with salad and hers with chips. Tasty and mildly spicy.I am a fan of all the different restaurants Paul manages and have enjoyed beautiful meals at the Hayloft and exceptional Burgers at the Woodshed.Paul and the Robert Spencer Hospitality Services are an outstanding community based organization that support charitable causes and services in Edmonton.

Sofina Bhullar: We tried a few different options here for both food and drinks. I was excited to try this place given the reviews in place but the food was a bit underwhelming and the drinks a bit too strong. I did like the London fog in my order tho. I have attached some pictures of what we had that day including the salmon ravioli, duck liver paté, Brussel sprouts, short ribs. The place wasn't busy when we arrived, but we were advised to make a reservation when called upon, so might be something to consider for your visit here.

Wendy Kautz: Workshop is our local eatery and as such we have dined there many times and have never been disappointed but our visit last night took our experience to a whole new level. From our arrival when we were greeted by our lovely hostess, whose name we failed to get unfortunately, until we walked out the door over 3 hours later, our experience was amazing. Our waiter Ryan made the evening. He read us well and was attentive and personable. As usual our food was great. It never disappoints and the addition of fresh ingredients from their garden kicked it up a notch. All said a very enjoyable experience.

Ashley: I made reservations for a birthday brunch, and the experience was amazing! The service was great!! I didn't get their names, but the hostess and the server that was with my group were great!! Caring and wanting to make sure we enjoyed our time there.I ordered the chicken and waffles... so good! I was completely surprised by the birthday plate because no one from the group asked them to do that. A lovely surprise!

S Lawton: This place is amazing! We were just in town for the night and wanted some real good food before leaving, so glad I found this place on Google! I will be back again and again while travelling through!Vegetarian options: I had THE best veggie melt here. It's awesome!

Jessie Bown: Went for a saturday evening dinner with my sister, and we were seated right away! She ordered the Bison Lasanga and I the Pom Pom Chicken. Both of us recommend these dishes! We wished we had taken photos because they were plated so nicely. The food here really is 5-Star quality. The atmosphere is beautiful for a dinner date, and the staff was happy to help answer questions with a smile. Thank you to the staff working hard to provide an exceptional dining experience.Dietary restrictions: The waitress did ask if there were any allergies or dietary restriction that she should be aware of, but both my sister and I have neither.

Jenelle Dallaire: Great space, amazing service, even better breakfast!Totally out of their control, the fire alarm went off and we had to stand outside for 20 minutes or so. We were a bit disappointed we weren’t maybe comped our drinks for the inconvenience. However, I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. You should go here!

Barbara Martinez: From the minute I walked in I thought what a great vibe! Then we had dinner and what a feast it was. A business dinner with 16 people and every one of us loved our meal. From the appetizers to the main course. Our server Dasha was so knowledgeable and helped us choose great wines and exceed our service expectations. This was outstanding on all levels. Highly recommend. Delicious food!!!

Nicholas Sedore: First time customer, service was slow but the food was incredible, worth the wait, and the restaurant has a good vibe. Just budget some extra time to eat.Three of us came in at 630 on a Wednesday evening, restaurant was very quiet. Got our table right away, and had our drink order taken very quickly. From there service slowed substantially. Took about 20 minutes to get our drink, and food also took longer than expected. Overall meal took about an hour and half for a single appetizer and 3 standard entrees. Not sure if there were issues in the kitchen or what.Food was amazing though, everything we were served was worth the wait. We ordered the Seafood Paella, the PomPom chicken and the linguine pescatore. All of us were very satisfied with our meals. The slowness probably was just a one off but maybe budget some extra time for eating here.

Josh Benoza: Service was acceptable. Checked on us and did not make us wait long, though no “service with a smile” vibes. Just getting us in and out kind of feel.Food was excellent and great place for a date night.

Greg Marcil: Amazing! Service, ambiance, and food. Full marks! Well done Moth!!

Charlotte Martin: This place is great! They have amazing food and drinks. I also love the atmosphere. So many plants and big windows with lots of natural light. The service has always been perfect every time I visit!

Simran Kang: Omg food, environment, staff, price- perfect, perfect, perfect nd perfect ❤❤❤I went there couple of weeks back with family, I am surprised that even my parents loved it so much. They got varietys of food to choose from. Added to my fvrt list of restaurants. I am so happy being a vegetarian, I can enjoy everything here. Thanku so much for ur best services in the city💙I wish you guys could stay open little longer.Vegetarian options: It's all vegan so everything on the menu is delicious for a vegetarian person.Kid-friendliness: It's wide open so kids can have their little space too

Wes Inaba: The Moth has been a longstanding go to for vegetarian experiences in Edmonton. Many still don't know about this haunt over on Jasper and 95 Street. It's a bit off the beaten path but it's worth it.There aren't too many high quality creative vegetarian offerings in YEG and this is probably close to the top. Granted, Edmonton's vegetarian scene is not nearly where Vancouver's is at. But the Moth does a commendable job.The space is spacious. Lots of plants and light. They also have a small patio available for sunny days. And the service is always friendly and helpful.4 x 🥗🥗🥗🥗

Tara Aech: This is a big name brand that had some delicious food. Normally in chains like this you would feel the pasta was over cooked or that they were cheap on ingredients - but I didn’t experience either of those things here. The staff were phenomenal - they were on top of our drinks at all times. The portion sizes perfect. I would say they have a little too much sauce in some dishes, but thoroughly enjoyed the meal! And there is tons of sitting, so you can have large or small groups easily accommodated.

William Lee: Great food. Great service. Try the lamb

Nick V: Very friendly staff. Great selection of beer with a majority being local. A great place to unwind.Service: 5/5 …

Amy Berthelot: Most amazing bartending experience I’ve ever had. Rivian was my bartender and not only was she amazingly friendly but extremely talented in making new and interesting drinks. She had great recommendations and even better service. Would 10/10 recommend this bar to anyone in Edmonton or visiting. The customer service was beyond expectations. Henry was also very inviting and I could not have had a better experience.

Culina on the Lake - Hawrelak Park: what do users think?

Amira Bere: and 15% curdled yellow cheese. I did ask if thats normally how it is and they said yes. The Breakfast sandwich is $8 just for the sandwich, not bad, but doesn't come with any sides like fries etc.Because their menu is small I expected better choices. But what they did provide was good quality other than he beer cheese.

Nikita Rosborough - Loyer: The staff is amazing! Friendly and excellent at their jobs! I also loved the bison burger, it was really good! Would definitely recommend!

Ryan Spotowski: Great space and better than your standard cafeteria food. Great selection of beer and beverages. Food took nearly 30 minutes.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with decent offerings

Justin Bigelow: Great place to sit down and grab a drink and a snack. Loved the selection of local beverages.

Evan Pearcy: Supports local. Bison burgers with a patio on the lake & licensed. Love it

Alexander Columb: Great little cafe with good portions and nice staffWould come backAlso they do not steal ducks, there are no ducks in the building!

Sherry Honey: It's Culina, what's not to love? House made menu items including meals, snacks, soups and that Halibut burger is sooo good. They give lots of local support to their menu including Little Bear gelato items. A beautiful addition to Hawrelak park and our YEG summer scene. Rain or shine, sit back and enjoy a well made coffee with a meal or snack. A true gem in our city!

Katie B.: Finding this place was such a pleasant surprise! It’s perfect to have a cafe here, and it’s super awesome that it’s more than just chocolate bars and chips, but actual food and local brews! I had the halibut burger and it was amazing, my husband loved the bison burger. The atmosphere is great and the staff is super friendly. We will be back! I’m excited to try their breakfast!

Clayton Schweb: Wait is worth it, beer is decently priced and gelato is amazing! Must stop in the park!

Andrew S: Atmosphere: 5/5

Fusion Titanium: This is definitely a nice vibrant place to meet for food drinks and socializing. The atmosphere is welcoming relaxing and exciting. Menu offers a variety of choices for the customers and portions are very reasonable. I could not and would not give it a 5 star rating for atmosphere because of the sheer volume of noise. When this place is packed, you def need to speak louder to talk to others at your table. It may be a small thing to some but definitely noticable and should be considered when planning a get together. There is a bar/show downstairs and after dinner the place turns into a nightclub/ dancing. So plan to stick around and order some drinks and dance the night away. They have a decent drink menu.I definitely will be back but will plan for a loud fun social night not an intimate date dinner.

Kevin Humphrey: Cool vibe, great original food menu, quality drinks.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, clearly shown on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly

Ian C: Enjoyed the banksy/Warhol exhibit!

Kim: Nice facility but lacking in terms of volume, it's rather small and modest.Depends on the exhibits they have on display when you go and if your interest in them. It is currently Pop Art like Andy Warhol and Banksy and such. This was great and the galleries are clean and very cleanly laid out. It isn't huge in terms of volume as it seems most of it is on loan from a single private collector. The other galleries, especially the third floor video galleries are VERY avant garde and takes a particular mindset to interpret, which I do not possess, humbly speaking. The bottom floor exhibition was closed when I went so there wasn't too much to see.

jf paquette: Beautiful pieces of work to be seen, and the music gallery was interesting. 3 floors of beautiful art work. They were hosting the indigenous artists market, at the same time as my visit which in itself was interesting to see, all the traditional art and items they make.Definitely would go back, especially if the market is there again.

Kendelle Marr: Love the AGA! Recently saw the Pop Art exhibition with Warhol, Lichtenstein, Banksy, etc. Amazing! Plus, the architecture is wonderful.

Taruni Tyagi: The experience was different.... contemporary art is beautiful here...gallery is not as big as the art gallery of Ontario and has less of the traditional oil paintings etc.but is definitely a breath of fresh air with more current work on display... building architecture is intriguingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Brendan Eikeland: The food is ALWAYS top-notch ! The service is amazing... probably very easily the best place to eat in edmontonYou WILL NOT leave disappointed!Parking: It's normally pretty easy to find parking but when it's not .... ITS NOT

Melanie COULSON: and my parents had the escargot. Both were incredible, and the carpacio in particular paired very well with our wine. For an entree I had the wild game feature dish which included elk and boar. YUM! And for dessert I had the bananas flambee which was phenomenal. This was our first time here and it will certainly not be our last! There were so many delicious sounding entrees that I am eager to try. If you are planning a nice dinner you should visit Normand's!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for a gluten free diet!

Dale Hildebrand: We have been dining with Normand for 34 years. Recently he hosted grandpa’s 90th. He personally looked after 16 of us all night. Service and food were excellent. So rare to have such great personalized customer service. One of the best restaurants in Edmonton – a hidden gem – try them.

Hart's Table & Bar: what do users think?

Dimitri S: Glad we found this place. Nice setting, GREAT food, and awesome staff. Highly reccomend this place for a meal with friends or familyKid-friendliness: There is a kid menu with good options for the beastsParking: No problems with parkingWheelchair accessibility: Located on ground level with handicapped parking available

Andrew: Came here for drinks with my buddy as he suggested this location being close to me. Exterior of Hart’s table looks like a typical pub but upon entering the atmosphere brings you up to another level. Reminds me of a bar at a fancy hotel.Didn’t try their food but had the charts lager and it was good.Nice quiet place - though my friend and the waitress commented how bizarre it is being so dead tonight.Great place to have a nice conversation to catch up with my friend for a short visit.

Francis: Mixed feelings about this place but will try again. The service was top notch and the decor really nice. The chairs were also super comfortable. We had the club sandwich which was good but honestly nothing special or unique about it. The fries were the skinny McDonald's style fries which in restaurants I always find as a let down. Much prefer the larger steak fries but to be fair the portion was pretty big.The other dish we tried was the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. The pizza was pretty good and a good size but again just nothing remarkable. The sauce was plain and the pizza not quite right for Detroit style. It wasn't thick enough but the dough was pretty good. The small pepperonis were delicious though and wish there had been more of them. Will go back and try different dishes due to the great service and atmosphere.

Lorie R: I LOVE Hart’s Table! We used to live in this neighbourhood and I think it is, kind of sadly, one of Edmonton’s best kept secrets! Lovely atmosphere, modern decor and even a patio for outdoor dining in good weather. A friend and I were seated promptly by the host and had great service from our friendly server. Honestly, I love their delish starter salad with SALMON! It is SO good! Fresh, tasty, not a heavy dressing, light and creamy and the yummy chunks of salmon just make it out of this world. And to me it is an ample serving for a meal, which is all I had. Booth or table seating is available and it is accessible with no steps inside the restaurant. Try this spot, you’ll love it. Oh and to end off the meal, the skillet apple pie and ice cream is to DIE for! It is something for those special occasion meals you don’t want to skip out on. Hot apple pie, brought to your table, amazing.

Роман Букатюк: The owner is very friendly and helpful. The interior is cozy, there are beautiful paintings of Eritrea or Ethiopia in the hall. The food is authentic. It is specific and not for everyone. From the outside the building looks bad. It was raining that day and the walkway was all puddle, so my legs were all wet. We ordered kitfo to go, but were a little bit afraid to eat this dish with raw meat, so fried the meat. Was not bad. They also seem to have some musical band performancesVegetarian options: There are completely vegetarian dishes
