Renae Batista: First time there, went with a group of 6 we all got so excited when the food got brought it we just started eating it was great I love how the food gets brought out periodically so your table is not super overcrowded it was great great service the waiters are awesome the food is good I highly recommend checking out watariVegetarian options: I myself didn't order from the vegetarian menu however a friend attending with us requested the menu and she loved it.Parking: They have parking around the back, it was quite busy but we found a spot no problem.

Cassidy Capper: is amazing and their food truly delivered! It was super tasty and gave a good portion for one person. Their TNT roll, and anchovy garlic edamame was to die for. I 10/10 recommend. However, I have only tried their food through 3rd party delivery apps so I cannot vouch for their atmosphere and service, but I would definitely give it a go having tasted their delicious food.

Alex K: Dorinku is one of my all time favourite restaurant’s. The pressed salmon sushi is very good and the carbonara udon, is probably my favourite dishes to try. The calamari and chicken skin was pretty good as well for appetizers. Anne Angeles: The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We came in on Sunday and it got a little busy but our waitress remained a good host. We ordered what we would typically get at other Japanese restaurants, expecting the standard smaller servings we are used to seeing nowadays and were completely blown away when our plates were brought out. There was so much food. To give you an idea, the beef tataki was on a large square plate and the serving was easily three times as much as what I’ve seen from other Japanese restaurants. The dragon eyes were about two times the size of what I’m used to as well. We also got the spicy tuna rolls, agedashi tofu, a bento box, and deep fried squid. Everything was well cooked and tasted great. Definitely coming back to enjoy the service and the food. Highly recommended!

Manchi Lo: I have been coming here for over 12 years and I have had my birthday celebrations here too because of the awesome food, excellent hospitality, quick service and friendly staff. They have renovated their restaurant to keep it fresh and beautiful too. They have great photo backgrounds to take with friends and a private room for gatherings too. They are open late so it's perfect for post shows at the northern Jubilee too or after any concert or game. The staff make you feel like family and remember your order and what you like. There have a delicious variety of Vietnamese and Japanese food. The pho and sushi rolls with sashimi are a few of my favorite. I definitely recommend to come here and go plan your next special occasion here.

The pho chef recommended special was incredible and they take such care in their packaging and the portion size was incredible. That said, the lemon grass beef was incredible.I have not been to every Vietnamese or Japanese restaurant, fusion or not, in Edmonton yet as a base line for my opinion; however, this was easily the most delicious beef I have eaten in Edmonton in months.To be clear, I'm not suggesting that other restaurants in Edmonton do not also have nice Japanese food or serve poor quality food. The meat served to me was just so delicious, that Shogun will easily be my first choice when I invite guests/friends or family out for dinner going forward. I am usually quite picky with meat when I eat out, too.Next time, I'll give the pork a try as well, but do yourself a huge favour and try the lemon grass beef when you visit. The thin strips of beef were thinly cut, charred wonderfully and packed with flavour. I had it is part of a main menu offering, but regretted not ordering the AYCE specifically because of how darn delicious the beef was once I learned it was available for AYCE, too.
