Dean was great at adjusting and making sure everything fit how it’s supposed to. My sister and I asked a lot of questions and he never made us feel like we were being annoying. Other customers came in and even though he was running behind he didn’t rush us or make us feel like we had a time limit. My sister had been to another suit place and she said this experience was 100% better. I would recommend Derks to anyone looking for rentals.

Agnes Domingo: This is where I bought my wedding gown. I like that they have plenty of options for my budget. You can go in and browse, and once you have decided to try on a few dresses, that’s when they charge you $30. The fitting experience was breezy, the staff there are very helpful and friendly. Just don’t have your dress altered here. Go to Leo’s Tailor.I was just not happy with the seamstress. She’s never on time with both appointments I had with her, and having only 2 weeks left before my wedding day, for some reason she thought the pick up date is 20 days later. 🤯 If you are a bride, you know how this can be stressful. I asked for any sort of compensation for the delay, any inconvenience fee. But when I picked up the dress 4 days later than the original pick up schedule, I didn’t get any aside from an apology and a hug. I am not happy with her service at all. Yeah sure, she can alter the dress and did well on it, but she needs to respect customers’ time. There are so many other things to handle for a wedding and any delay is not acceptable.

The store has a very wide selection, and staff is incredibly kind and helpful, especially Joyce. Even since moving to Vancouver this is my still my favourite place for menswear, online or in person you’ll be in good hands.

I was a fashion disaster, but after I arrived at The Helm we completely transformed my style, and I’ve never looked back. They understand my needs, my budget, and the style I demand. They have so many quality items arriving constantly, and can often order specific items to meet your needs.Alana and Zach have personally attended to me, but their entire team is top quality. You will not regret giving them a moment of your time.
