Sunshine Schulte: Julia was so great to have during my labour. She made sure to bring what I asked her to and advocate for what I wanted. My back labor was fairly manageable with her and my husband applying counter pressure. It definitely would have been more painful without her. I highly recommend her.

Jessica Czarnecki: April with Edmonton Area Family Doulas was a tremendous help during my pregnancy, labour and postpartum care.She is a wealth of knowledge and answered my many many questions being a first time mom. Morning, evening or middle of the night she was there for me and still is 6 months pp. I cannot stress enough how much she has helped me.Her classes also made me feel more confident in becoming a mom, what to expect when you go into labour and how to help move your labour along. Kendra Montgomery: but April explained what to expect and things to consider, which was invaluable going into the procedure. There was a lot of “I don’t know what I don’t know”, being a first time mom, and they made me feel confident.Their availability for questions and gut checks after our baby arrived has also been phenomenal. They keep us off google and it’s very reassuring to have a trusted expert in your corner.Highly recommend!

Joanna Petrus: My husband and I took the newborn care essentials class hosted by April, and I would recommend that any new parents to-be take this class. It was well-rounded, informative and helped to set realistic expectations for anyone entering this part of their lives. Both my husband and I felt like we got the most out of the course and felt more prepared after.We are also clients with a doula team, expecting our first baby at the end of August, and that experience so far has been hands down, one of the best investments we could have made for us as new parents. Rachelle Gallant: My Fiance as I took the Birth and Delivery class as well as the Newborn class. April the Owner taught at both classes. She is chalked full of information and will be raw and straight up about it !I took forever trying to comb through the AHS and medical staff lead classes and just felt I needed to take a chance with a Doula led class because I wanted someone to speak to me in language I would understand. I'm so glad we did !We are due in about 12 days and I could not be happier with the knowledge and information April set us up with.Highly recommend to anyone who wants to hear it how it is and get answers in a way you can understand and relate to.

As first time parents, we are so grateful to our Doulas, Michelle and Emily for their support throughout the pregnancy and birth of our son. They were available to my husband and I for any questions prior to delivery. They met with us to further discuss our birth wishes and how they can support us when the time came. Their support during labour and delivery was invaluable as well as the postpartum followup.We also took both the Childbirth Education and Newborn Care and learnt a lot from both classes. 10/10 would recommend.

We did the labour and delivery package and were thrilled with the advice provided by our doula team, it really helped us prepare for our first child and feel ready to welcome her into the world. April was our doula on the day of labour and delivery and was soo supportive. She made both me and my husband feel at ease with a process that was new and scary for the both of us. We delivered a healthy baby girl and have appreciated the extra support with any questions we have had since her birth. We also did the newborn care class through the company and learned a lot of good information that is helping us care for our daughter. Highly recommend this company!
Catalina Mesa: I love the services provide by Bryanna very professional and clean. Personally the placenta encapsulation should be a most for all mammas out there. I didn’t do it with my first baby only with the second and I regret not knowing about this with my firstborn. I noticed a profound impact on my faster recovery after c-sec and also on my mood!
