spencer kozak: I've only had their Gin and it's a bit odd. It's London Dry but has a funny taste to it, must be the seaberries. I don't dislike the flavour honestly its just not what I expected.But its much too strong for drinking on its own, best mixed or used for cleaning wounds.
Ryan Spotowski: They're always innovating and trying new products. The drinks are delicious and prefect for gifts. The Velvet Cream is my favorite and very easy drinking.The space is super tiny and cute. It is well worth a visit.
North Gill: Our group just did a tour of the place, and it was fantastic! So nice to hear about the history of the building and the history and care of their story starting off. Every renowned distillery/company has to start somewhere and I believe they're going to be around for a long time.Also like other people were saying, even if you don't care for gin, their gin is actually really nice and has a beautiful flavour. A couple of us ended up buying a bottle of the Velvet Cream spirit too, because it didn't even feel like we were drinking alcohol.
Alberta Guys: We visited the Booth at the Old Strathcona Farmers Market, the lady working was very friendly, told us about the history of the Distillery in Edmonton. We sampled 2 kinds of gin and one vodka, they were quite fantastic and easy to drink. We are excited to visit the distillery one day.

Kate Macaroni: I walked past the Distillery on a walk, and picked up some hand sanitizer. The lady working there was so friendly and nice. She gave us a social distance tour of the facilities from the door.The exterior of the building is delightful and the history of the building itself is very interesting and comical.I would strongly recommend this place to people looking for high quality, locally made gin and also hand sanitizer.
Craig Sims / Julio Slim: Wow!What a pleasure to try the White Oak Pinot Gin!We found the Strathcona Spirits booth at the 124 street Grande Market.We bought a bottle as we both like gin and are always up for new things. Our normal drink of choice would be gin/soda and a dash of bright bitters. This Pinot gin imparts some amazing flavour profiles = no bitters required!Looking forward to cocktail hour more than usual-you need to try this!!

Ennio Flores: Sherwood Park farmers market, smoothest vodka we have tasted, no harsh after burn, only pure flavor, and I don't even like vodka. Julian provided great customer service and was a wealth of knowledge 10/10 will be visiting the distillery to stock up.
Julien Constantin: The real country vodka is smoothest I've ever tasted! The flavoured vodkas are made with real fruit juices and you can really taste the difference. I've also started drinking gin again after 20 years!

Krysta Shippelt: Love Black Diamond! Found them at a holiday market and have been a loyal fan ever since. St. Albert is lucky to have them. Their apple pie liquor is AMAZING as are all of their canned cocktails. Earl Grey mule is my fave. I also appreciate that they offer zero proof options for those who can’t or choose not to drink alcohol.
Corinne Marceau: I first discovered Black Diamond vodka at the 124th Street Market years ago and it has become a staple in our bar at home. The Tart Cherry and the Earl Grey are amazing and make fantastic cocktails. I have tried nearly every flavour now and their selection is impressive, and each has a taste that is true to the quality ingredients used. The canned pre-mixed cocktails are super convenient and each come in a mocktail version as well. I love that we have such a wonderful local distillery here doing great work.
Juanita Seeley: Saw these guys at a booth at the Butterdome Craft Show and decided to purchase a bottle of their Spiced Cranberry...BEST...decision ever! This stuff is amazing on it's own or with some Ginger Ale. Definitely going to one of the locations that sell their product to buy more for the holidays and try out some other flavours as well!

A G: Stopped by tonight to check it out and met Jody the owner. Beautiful space. No cocktail bar or anything but he gave us a tour and we tasted samples of their current spirits. They have vodka and gin right now with more things slowly in the works. Only opened in Nov 2020. Jody was super enthusiastic and passionate about the brand they are creating and the specific copper stills they use. Spirits are awesome with alot of pure, non artificial flavors. Personal favorite was the peach and raspberry vodkas but the gin was top notch as well. Can't wait to see what more they come out with. Definitely recommend stopping by for a tour and tasting.
