They also do ultrasounds, mammograms, they can do live scans and give you cortisone shots and other things you thought you may some place in Edmonton. They take any request forms for any of the other xray companies that your Dr may have written up your test for. They give happy smiling service and prefer to always any x-rays etc done here.
Irina Reisbig: I came today for two ultrasound and had a very pleasant experience. Firstly the ladies at the front desk where so nice. The young lady doing my ultrasound was so nice and very gentle during the procedure. For my second ultrasound the young man was also very polite and very good at what he does. Overall a very welcoming environment, will recommend this place to everyone.

I was greeted at the front reception and soon was escorted to each imaging room. The technicians explain the procedures as they are doing them and I felt quite confident in the whole process. I will return to the Centre for future tests.

Nurse helped me to feel comfortable and get me ready for my injection. The cherry on the cake was my doctor and his technician. They made me feel very, very comfortable. Procedure was quick and not so painful. This was my 8-th cortisone injection and trust me I have seen and experienced a lot. Thank you so much for your professionalism and care.

This last visit at Hy's was Awesome 😁 Very little wait in the waiting area. And once i got taken to the change room I barely had time to get my Gown on before I was taken for the Injection. The Ladies up front are great and so are all the Assistants The Dr who did my Injection is the "ABSOLUTE BEST" He is done in no time and I never know if he actually does the procedure as there is ZERO pain He is the BEST he has Injected me a few times, I wish I could request him to do all my Future InjectionsBob

Dave Chong: I was able to reschedule my appointment to address my injury as soon as possible. There was a bit of luck with this perhaps but I'm just glad for that.My appointment was for a x-ray guided injection. The appointment went well and staff were very professional and friendly. This was the second one at this location and both went very well.
Sandra Osterberg: It was unfortunate that there was only one location offered and nothing closer to my address, but I understand resources could be limited. This was my first time having this procedure, so definitely a little nervous and everyone was so kind and cheery. Everyone working at this location made it a comfortable experience for me. Blaine Oster: Hi, I'm very pleased with the service, professionalism and compassion of everyone associated to MIC Medical Imaging! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! My original appointment was set for August. After a couple more days later I couldn't endure the pain any longer but knew the doctors would like the test results to assist in making their diagnosis and I subsequently called MIC central booking back and explained I couldn't wait till the end of August with the pain. I was immediately moved to an opening a few days later on the Southside of the city. Travel was no problem. I received my text message reminder for my appointment. I was preoccupied when I left the house on the day of my appointment and forgot my requisitions. When I checked in at MIC on Gateway, they put me at ease and made things less stressful and said they would contact my Doctor's office and obtained the information they needed to conduct the exams they needed to do! They were done immediately and I'm so grateful I didn't have to go back and pick them up then return to MIC on Gateway! And I didn't have to wait for hours for my Clinic staff or MIC to obtain the information I needed! I have a busy life and MIC staff were able to save me a 40 minute drive each way to retrieve my requisitions and made things so streamline and less stressful! They did my ultrasound and X-Rays as requisitioned immediately. The technicians were calm, friendly and informative. I was very pleased they were able to see the anxiety and stress and make things a much easier process. Thanks, MIC Medical Imaging and thanks MIC Gateway!!! Thanks for being there!

Alison Cowan: I had a pelvic ultrasound last Friday to investigate prolonged vaginal bleeding, and the technician not only noticed that my kidneys did not appear entirely normal, he did a full set of diagnostic images on them, providing my doctor with the very unexpected information that they were failing. And he provided it to the doctor as quickly as was possible.When I got home, the doctor phoned and told me to go to the hospital, and I had emergency surgery Saturday morning.The technician literally saved my life.My right kidney is toast, and apparently has been for some time without my awareness. But because he caught it before the left had completely failed, I'm still alive and recovering.He was also kind, professional, and efficient. But that's almost unimportant.Thank you.

J Lee: All of the lab technicians and counter staff I spoke with or saw, were friendly and so nice. I even got a lab tech student. She was fantastic. Great place to go if you need diagnostic imaging. If you have an appointment, the wait times are minimal and run pretty much on time.

Elevator is available for those with mobility concerns, and several accessible parking stalls. The rest of the parking was taking though so I had to park a block over and walk. The terra losa location might be better if you have a stroller and kids to wrangle.

Front desk knew my appointments would be over the 2 hour parking limit so she forwarded my vehicle description and license plates to the patrols so I wouldn't be ticketed. People were in and out with their appointments quickly. Clinic is also very clean and I witnessed staff sanitizing chairs which I really appreciated. First time here and I'll have to say I am very impressed. Thanks for a great experience.

Staff were still friendly and understanding.Technician worked quickly to keep schedule, but she was definitely still very thorough with my ultrasound. Michael Moore: Amazing!I had a Specialized Ultra Sound doctor and it was 500% better and more informative than any ultra sound prior. I believe he is the only one trained in this specialty field but if you can get in to see him, I highly recommend.

They are busy because they are the best. There's obviously something they're doing right, hence the crowds. I would be more weary of the empty places that always have availability. They're in demand because they are the best at what they do. Staff are all professionals and technicians are thorough with their work. I wouldn't trust any other place to go for my health care. They were upfront and advised the ultrasound dr is very busy and also has alternate clients that there is a potential for a need to wait. With having the information there was no stress. I was in and out in an hour! Thank you to all!
M H: I’ve been to this south edmonton location a couple of times for ultrasounds and X-rays and have had an overall great experience. I am very comfortable to come back to this location in the future. I’ve had a male specialist perform an ultrasound with a female in the room, as well have had an ultrasound tech by the name of Farkhunda perform an ultrasound and she made sure to take her time to get the finer details recorded. As well X-ray techs have done a great job every time with explaining everything in detail. Front desk staff are nice and have not had any problems with minor communication done. Keep up the job you’re doing with cleanliness and hiring the right techs and you will continue to prosper towards the best. Also, love the diversity in staff!
Nic W: I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad for this place. Ultrasound tech saw me within a few minutes of my appointment time, and the reception was nice.
ACMS ULTRASOUND LTD: I am sorry wait times can longer than expected , we do try to be right on time. Sometimes we do have emergency patients that come in to the clinic or some injuries can be more severe then originally indicated making appointment times longer. We do have signs indicating wait times can be longer than expected and care about all our patients. Our patients are important to us, but sometimes wait times can not be help . Other technologist do work in the clinic, but are not able to do all exams or some exams require our specialist. If other patients are coming in before you , they were for other technologists that work in our clinic. Staff are suppose to be friendly and helpful. If you ever run into problems with any of our staff please contact management immediately as they require all staff members to be respectful and helpful to all patients. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience that occurred in one of our clinics as we want all patients to feel respected and get the results that are required for them to get better.We do try and tell patients a head of time of the cost regarding injections, but sometimes it can be missed.
