Kara Kiemele: My children loved DTA! My daughter has only been with DTA for a year and a half, but her confidence level everytime she comes home from a class is noticable better. She struggles with coming out of her shell, but the teachers and students do a great job encouraging her to be herself and to shine!

Or just in general look up to these girls and boys.Lastly, but I feel most importantly, the studio staff itself. I've had so many open conversations with the director or manager of a certain area and not once was it ever short or rushed. I know very well how busy they are and yet I've always been able to pull them aside for a conversation. Not only that but it's never affected their willingness to continue to converse or problem solve with me. Their friendliness in the studio carries on before and after conversations, no matter what the circumstance. I appreciate the amount that they truly care about my kids and their well being. The openness and understanding, is unlike anything I've heard of.Hands down my kids top place to be.

The teachers are the best of the best We love being part of the Dance Theme Family and can not wait for this year to start. The opportunity's at this studio are endless. My girls started in Mini stars and are now part of the company program. And no matter what level we were at my kids had amazing teachers. The owner is beyond amazing and goes above and beyond in every way. she is organized and so passionate when she teaches the students that I have watched my own daughter grow up at this studio having such positive experiences that I truly feel she will carry with her forever. She always brings out the best in all the students and genuinely loves them all and cares about their experience every single day and puts her 1000% in. not only has my daughter learnt and is still learning to become her own unique dancer, she has grown here with new friendships and looks forward to going to dance class every single day. All of the teachers at this studio are amazing and passionate and bring positivity and their own experiences that they give to all their students. Tara Hawkins: My daughter has danced with Dance Discovery for 10 years now. There are many things that we absolutely love about the studio; the teachers are fantastic, the choreography is award winning, and the costumes are always beautiful and age appropriate. In the past couple of years, the studio is really focusing on creating a sense of team between the different levels of dancers and we are enjoying it even more.

Dorothy Hamilton: This is a great dance studio for both children and adults. I danced here as a child and have continued with adult classes. Over the years I’ve taken classes in different styles with a variety of teachers and always had a great experience. The teachers are professional, warm, welcoming, and motivating. The studio itself is lovely, with sprung floors to help protect your joints and a modern, newly renovated interior. Communication is great and it’s easy to stay up to date via the newsletter and website.The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of instruction.Honestly, I just can’t recommend this studio highly enough! It had a tremendously positive impact on my childhood, and the adult classes are just so much fun.

Sarah Vance: I didn’t dance growing up. I always wanted to. I started following dance code on Instagram but was too intimidated to go in for about a year. I finally came in and talked to someone at the front desk and she reassured me it was all good I had no experience and was very friendly. That was 3.5 years ago. I’ve been going to classes ever since. Dance code is one of my happy places. I have a membership and come a couple times a week. The instructors are talented af and lovely. So if you are on the fence about trying classes here come try it out.They also have more advanced classes for people who have danced for years growing up that I can’t really speak on.I also do their codettes performance based program and that’s fun.

Jessica Schaub: We took lessons here to choreograph the first dance for our wedding and opted for the 4-lesson package. John was so friendly and had the perfect balance of giving edits to help us look like pros without making us feel like we were entering a ballroom dance competition. We loved taking dance lessons during our wedding planning because it felt like a mini date every time. Highly recommend doing your wedding lessons here!
Joel: My Fiance and I took a level 1 ballroom course at Foot Notes to prepare for our wedding and we both had a wonderful experience! The class had people of many different skill levels in it but the instructor, Cynthia, was amazing and did great offering personal instruction to all the couples. She was very supportive and she made the class so much fun!I would recommend this studio to dancers of any skill level or first-timers like us, we will be back after our wedding to keep learning!Joel

James Offer: As a child and young adult, I could never imagined how much joy I would experience from dance. Between toxic masculinity, and internalized homophobia, my own insecurity always stopped from being more comfortable in my body, and around others. This studio, and it's classes, create a welcoming environment where I can express myself, and learn to create a safe space for myself in leading a dance. Prices are very reasonable and the teachers are very patient and kind. Looking forward to other classes.

Brittney M: We had Marlee choreograph our first dance to Beauty and the Beast. Working with her over the past few months was so easy and really helped with our stress. Our guests said our dance was beautiful and we can’t thank her enough for putting it all together and teaching it to us. All the staff here are so welcoming and friendly, no matter if it’s your first time or millionth time. You are always greeted with a hello and a smile. I would recommend this place for wedding dances, and any dance in general!

Alyssa H: i dance here and love every second of it. the teachers are well trianed and know how to work with some dancers who need i bit of extra help. no one is aloud to exucled wich is a big step up from my old studio. the teachers are kind and know when to crack a joke even if the kids arent sure to laugh or not. when i only had one off day the teacher made sure i was okay. last but sertinly not least big shout out to hanna she dose alot for the dancers and alberta ballet would not be the same without her.

J T-S: We are going into our third season at EDF. My daughter wants to take ALL of the classes because she loves going so much! This school has a high level of dance, engaging choreography, classy and age-appropriate costumes, and an easy to use website setup for managing my child's class. Any inquiries I've had have been responded to very quickly and the information given to parents for recital events is extremely thorough. This is a large school and I'm sure there have been some road bumps along the way due to the scope of work that is involved in running it but we are very happy with our choice to dance at EDF and drive a fair distance just to take our daughter there.

Kirstynn Grygus: Signing up for wedding dance lessons was so worth it. Our instructor Jim took an experienced dancer and a non-experienced dancer and blended us together flawlessly. Jim worked with us to bring our vision of a simple, elegant first dance to life all within 5 sessions.We love Jim. We went into every session with him excited, and left each session counting down the days until our next one. Jim made the dance lessons fun. It was no longer just another task to cross off the "honey-do" list, it became something we both enjoyed and looked forward to. After the 5 sessions ended, we promised Jim we would be joining some of the drop-in partner classes.When it came to the first dance on our wedding day, both of us had Jim in the back of our mind telling us to communicate, think 3 steps ahead, and to enjoy the moment.
