After Task Concrete finished the job, it became clear that it had not been done properly. They admitted to their mistakes, offered to waive the charges and still come back to complete the job. This required using an expensive tool so I was very grateful for their offer. When they left things looked good, but later I noticed that the concrete had still not been completely cut through. I contacted them again and they agreed to come back a third time. Finally, the job is done. Brian McCarthy: Hello. I had Manhattan replace my driveway and patio in Sherwood Park and they did an excellent job at a very competitive price. . Would I use them again, absolutely. Would I recommend them to family, friends, anyone, absolutely.Joe came to our house and clearly explained the job and was able to provide a quote right then.. When it was time to do the job Mike and his crew showed up 07:00 and the Bobcat was at it. By noon 1,600 sq ft concrete was gone, first load of rock crush down and packed and survey lines done. Mike had a challenge with elevations causing problems but he came up with a great drainage plan. By 13:00 everyone was gone and the road out front was spotless.Next day at 06:45 they are cutting rebar and packing the second road crush load. The forms crew showed up with all their gear in a big flatdeck truck and set to work. At one point there was over six guys working on my job. We were formed and rebared by 11:30.Then rain showed up so this delayed the pour but it was completed with no problem.Through out the job Joe was always available and answered all my questionsManhattan normally does commercial jobs so they have a large experienced crew and they own all the equipment . Chris Chang: The crew was nice and answered any questions I had. They explained what they were doing and shared some insights about the potential causes for the foundation issues I had and small tips for preventative measures based on their experiences. They left the extra soil neatly against the foundation instead of taking it away so that when the soil settles, there is still a nice grade. They left everything tidy and neat when they finished the job and they also helped push my already leaning fence upright before they filled the soil back up, which was extra effort that they didn’t have to put in. Thank you for the job well done and the small extra efforts that left me more than satisfied with the service.

Matt Pavlic: I only leave 5 star or 1 star reviews.I spoke with Kevin as a part of getting three different companies to look at my possibly leaking foundation.When we pulled up the carpet in our basement and took down the drywall, we noticed cracks in the foundation walls, and evidence of past water ingress into the basement, leading to disintegration of the nail boards holding the carpet. So, something needed to be done.We contacted three companies: one that fixes cracks from the inside via polyurethane crack injection, and two that said to do it from the outside. For the reader's information, after twenty plus hours of deep research and going to the library and doing my own research, the best way to waterproof cracks is typically from the outside, unless you have some reason you cannot do that.I spoke with Kevin as the final contractor of three different companies to give me a quote. Kevin was all business and to the point, and knew his stuff. He knew what my problems were before I told him based on his astute observations, and gave me a large handout that answered all my questions. Armed now with not only product information, but also application technique, I was hooked. This is exactly the information one needs to make a decision.Kevin was actually the middle bid and was doing the job the way I wanted it.We booked the job for April for after the ground is above -12C, and his crew was onsite Monday to Friday. The crew was clean, friendly, courteous, and pleasant. They did a fantastic job explaining, and applying the product.The explained their after-project support and warranty, and I have full confidence in them for my needs once the ground settles and I need more rocks to cover.Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the explanation, the products, the workers, and everything. I would have them back anyway, but hopefully, they never have to return to my house to do this!

Shaun Flanders: Highly recommend. Would use Abarent again. Abarent fixed a few holes in our foundation that would leak water into our basement whenever there was heavy rain or during spring melt. Crew was friendly and professional. Took care to protect our landscaping and did a nice job of cleaning up. Only reason not 5 stars is that it took around 2 weeks from putting down my deposit to hear back on when the job would happen. Once teh job was scheduled it got done pretty quickly.
