Edmonton Public Library - Stanley A. Milner Library (Downtown): what do users think?

Shane: Great experience, underground parking, Second Cup on location while you visit. They offer books, movies and games plus a gaming room with consoles, music recording rooms, stitching area, 3D printers, baking and fabrication classes and the list goes on. Worth while to visit!

Clayton Schweb: Underrated library spot, all edmontonians should have a library card whether it is for books, movies, audiobooks or video games. Library is run by some amazing staff!

Юля Колыхаева: Wow,great work! I impressed by children section and overall library design is great!

Andrea Gonzalez: The library is the place we can enjoy all year round, my children have grown up and still have fun with games, read books and play chess.

Miss Lynne: Beautiful library with lots of computers and spaces for you to stay and relax there.

Isha Datar: Love working here. One of my favourite places to work on my laptop.Yes there are people of all stripes here, this is a true PUBLIC place!

Setare Hendessi: I visited the library recently, and I must say, it's a lovely place. The atmosphere is welcoming , making it a perfect spot for reading or studying. The employees were incredibly kind and helpful, ready to assist with any inquiries or recommendations. Overall, a delightful experience that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend some quiet time surrounded by books and friendly staff.

SC: Not too many upright seatings with power outlets.

Angela Halpin: Beautiful, spacious building, full of great services.

Jordan Swanson: I love Edmonton Libraries!!!

Thomas Borreson: and it was definitely worth the wait.

L Hart: I went to get a new library card and to look around. It's been a long time since I have visited. It looks wondrous inside, especially the gigantic aquarium of sea creatures on the first floor. There are many stations to look up books and places to sit. I was helped by a very nice and helpful librarian who knew a lot about the library and was obviously a fan of her workplace. I saw several security personnel on the first 2 floors I was on, which is a good idea for this location. However, on the day I was there I did not feel concerned while entering & exiting, or at all while I was there. I look forward to visiting again, soon.

Ayşe Ayşe: I really like this place

Tara Kachroo: Highest possible rating for this amazing public library. I was very impressed with the publicly accessible sewing studio, audio studios, video studios, 3D printers, vinal cutting, musical instrument library, public movie viewing and all the programs. The librarians were friendly, helpful and approachable.

Diana Kamminga: Customer service here great! A huge variety of classes, clubs and events.

Cam Foster: Fun

Affiong Asuquo: Quiet place for private study

Deepti Nawal: Had a good experience here, staffs are quite supportive to explain everything happening in Library, my 7 year old loves reading, we spent a great time there

Jaya Chauhan: First visit to the renovated EPL in Londonderry Mall and it was impressive with an aquarium and helpful, friendly staff who eagerly informed me of the events happening in July with free entry to K days on July 23rd 2023 for EPL members!! The library is a hub for the community in #YEG

A.J. Wrenn: Staff is great, books are reasonably priced.

Seid Abdi: Perfect Library . Very helpful staff.

Linda Gail Lamb: and bank and grocery shop at the same mall. I occasionally use the copier or fax machine. But there is ONE problem: whichever branch I visit, I usually come home with too many books 😁.May 19, 2023: I did it again.... taking home too many books 😁.

Donna Ross: *This is an old review that keeps popping up. Service is still excellent after all these years.*Londonderry public library is always 5 stars! They go above and beyond, they are friendly, inviting, helpful, approachable and very informative. We love their programmes! Especially the new toddler programme at 6pm on Wednesdays! They have movies, books in different languages, games, programmes, gaming station and computers all for different ages. This new library is more inviting and cozy than the old one. One of the only suggestions I would make is to add more random sitting spaces. Add more chairs or stools or benches through the library that more adults can use when they come in with their children.
